    P.S Grammy recommends Primal eating in P3 and p4. Have you guys heard about it? It's really similar to Paleo. I have been checking it out and trying to prepare for next phase even though I am about 10-12 days from that, hopefully!

    Michelle - good morning beautiful. congrats on your mile stone. 40 days is awesome (and biblical to now that I think about it ha! you are getting so close. I attached a youtube link for you - I hear a lot of great things on the Jay Robb shake for Phase 2 that helps with losses and stalls (if you choose not to do the apple a day or steak day) i'm just super proud of you and all that you're doing for yourself! ( I am very familiar with Paleo but have not really heard of it a primal eating) thank you for the kudos. i'm really trying to hit that 199 mark before i finish Phase2 :-)

    Rosey - my kind of gal - i'm ALL about strategy. you keep doing your thang girl - before you know it you'll be screaming GOAL! lmao! i'm such a sports junky - don't be fooled by the hair and make up i'm the most feminine tom boy out there ha ha!

    Clairbear - how you doing? hun - we are proud of you and are here for you girly!

    I am in agreement with Michelle - i just love you guys and am ever so thankful for the PERFECT time I started the program and was the perfect set of girls. you are my HCG sisters who understand, relate and feel what it's like to go through what we have.

    Happy Friday! Glad to report I had a 1.2 loss.....seems as the loss happens every few days. That's ok, I'll take it!
    This is vlcd 41. 21.4 lost, 6.6 to go.
    It's a holiday weekend, so hang in there, stay on protocol!
    Hope you all have special plans
    I start the weekend with a funeral today for one of our retired pastors....a great man. Then we have friends and family all weekend.

    Hi all! I have just completed my two loading days and am using the bodyshaper drops. I'm so fortunate to have come upon this group! I have 60lbs to take off, and am really hopeful with this diet. Tomorrow the harder part begins. I'm going to keep myself busy (not too hard with a 7yr old, 4yr old and a puppy!

    welcome aboard! the hard part was making the decision and starting! you have already the passed that part :-) just stay focused on your goal and WHY you are doing it. for yourself first of course - but for your health - staying strong for your kids, etc. so on the days that seem harder, well when you remember WHY you are doing it - that makes the push that much more worth it. you're going to do great.

    we are pretty tight knit group - and by that i don't mean clicky lol - we are all just very encouraging, help each other stay accountable, very supportive, and we lean on on one another for strength, understanding, tips to pass along the way, compassion (cause no one understands more than someone has gone THROUGH it) and PRAYER! once again welcome and we are more than GLAD to have you.

    Thanks for the words of encouragement Carolena! I got through today without too much difficulty. Went for a two hour hike with my family to a most beautiful waterfall, I can't wait for it to be easier. By November I'm hoping to be able to run it. I gained a ghastly 6#s during loading...that's crazy!!!! I hope everything is going well for everybody and that you've been able to keep temptation at arms reach.

    Welcome healthdiva! Glad you found us. It will be nice to have anotherperson in p2 for my second round! Most of these ladies will be approaching p3 soon! ( congrats).


    Welp i was bad yesterday ladies ... Didnt drink my water like i should have and went on a chicken nugget kick lol... I had chic fil a nuggets and a southwest salad for lunch ... Then went out for drinks with my girls and had mcdonalds nuggets on the way home! Smh i also had a bit of cranberry juice in my vodka... Today i am paying for it ... I am up 2.5 to 3.5lbs. I think it is mainly water weight since i was drinking and not properly dehydrated (plus pesky mother nature has decided to visit me .. Probably why my weight was bouncing around all week). I am doing a high protien day and flooding myself with h20... I am still under ldw so i am not going to do a traditional steak day just yet. I'll wait and see what the scale says in the morning. Even though i had chicken nuggets my daily calorie totals were still at about 1300 and my carbs were super low for the day as well .. Thats why i am thinking its water retention.

    Good morning everyone! Welcome healthdiva - so glad your here!
    It was a fun weekend, painting and enjoying friends and family all weekend. But I am up 2lbs this morning! I am going to get it off - just concerned of my lack of military discipline with my few cheats!!!!( I even brought my own food to a BBQ over the weekend - broke down and tried the homemade icecream!) There were a few other cheats too - but, it was a nice break and back on track this morning
    I am going to NYC October 8th to see my mom, so need to buckle down and get to P3 comfortably before I leave.
    I have tweaked my dosage again and it seems to be helping. Not hungry during the day.

    good morning lovely ladies. today is my first day of week 4 in Phase 2. last week hurt :-( lol No I did not cheat or anything like. I followed everything as I normally do (which is why i think i was so frustrated lol) - BUT it was the week that i actually hit my stall for 3 WHOLE days. it was horrible lol. I know it's normal, it's common and it usually hits people about 10 days into their program. however it hit me later and in the week I was wanting to lose more (trying to get down to 199 before phase 3, but i need to allow my body to do what it NEEDS to do not what I WANT it to do. I know JESUS has this all taken care of perfectly. I trust HIM) I was really careful how I posted this as I did not want to alarm or discourage our new friend healthdiva :-)

    well the little researcher that I am beforehand I had read what will happen when starting HCG. I knew a stall would eventually happen , but did not know when. I knew what we could do to help the stall (i know steak day is mainly for phase 3 so I didn't go there) I knew I could do the whole 6 apple a day thing which i have read over and over is more of a mental mind set (so that wasn't worth it lol) and that eventually the stall will break just to wait it out. I had also read I could jay robb meal replacement which I did (i only did that on Sunday for lunch then had my regular dinner that night like I normally would) and also the smooth move tea. So again I just mainly decided to stick out (did Jay Robb for lunch one day just for a boost, oh and skipped breadsticks) and continued with protocol. I have been drinking the smooth move tea just to help. Happy to say this morning after those yucky 3 days lol that I finally dropped 1.2 lbs yeah!

    I love you guys so much - I am so proud of each and everyone of you. for your dedication, love and support. i am ever so grateful more than you know.

    good morning ladies - hope you all are doing well! :-)

    as for me well I was excited that my stall broke yesterday with my 1.2 loss but this morning TOM came to town or as I call it aunt flow lmao! (stayed the same in my weight no gain no loss from yesterday) oh the joys of being a woman and our darn menses. i know TMI well that's what's happens when you get a group of us girls on this forum who just clicked lol the bond that we built like sisters -well because of that bond we tend to share like sisters do lol. well at least it explains a little of my first stall but this is my last week of VLC for phase 2 so i was trying to lose as much as i could - i swear GOD must laugh at me when i make my own plans ha ha! anyway I still laugh, smile and still have plenty to be proud of :-)

    i can't thank you guys enough for being there as you are especially during my insane moments lol

    love you guys - happy releases.

    remember keep smiling, keep laughing, and don't give up. we have lot's to be excited about in this life - may the BLESSINGS keep coming in ALL areas of our lives not just our health- AMEN!

    Hi everyone and happy Wed!
    I dropped over 2 lbs this morning....I stayed the course and had almost a gallon of water yesterday. Down to 151 on the nose. If I can make another 5 lbs, I will end this round and hopefully, sooner than later. I will give it another week. I think my body needs to stop the VLCD's.
    Carolena - one more week, yahoo! You have done amazing!!!! What a nice loss for you for your first round! I liked what you said above, had to chuckle about you making your own plans. The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps. Are you ready for P3? There are some great articles and guides on this forum. We will be transitioning together!!
    How is everyone else doing?
