That's awesome you are down today, any amount is success!! I am so happy you found your wallet and phone with all intact. I hate the thought if I ever had to replace everything, scary feeling.
I had a good day at First Aid class today. It was fun. I had chicken and celery tonight. I actually skipped lunch. Oh well I made it through.

I have a bit of shopping to do as it was a busy week and I didn't pick up everything I need. Tomorrow after class I will. I am doing good though and not hungry. I will have a tea later. I love the Bengel spice Rose once mentioned years ago. I do enjoy it.

Other than that hope everyone else had a good day today.

Thank you, Jayk! Glad you had a good day, too! Keeping busy is so important during P2! I have to watch myself that I don't spend the day just waiting to weigh in tomorrow! EEEk.

I am down past that gain now. According to my ticker, I was down a POUND yesterday, not .8. While I am a bit confused, the number I was today subtracted from where I started is what counts. So, am at least down the resto f the gain and .4 or .6 today from yesterday.

If this is as far as I go, I can't complain. I am wearing a sweater that my sister bought me nine years ago, and I have only worn it maybe every two or three years. It is long and well, sweater-y, so it sticks to one's shape and there have been years when I did not want it sticking to my shape! I do better in the summer than I do in the winter, obviously. But today, I can wear it ---with light shapewear.

I am wearing it with knee high boots and leggings, which may be nine years out of date, I don't know, but I know I don't look 70 in it, at least not at a distance. I have yet another eye appt today for yet another eye surgery, and I don't want all those 20-somethings treating me like I am 90. It is annoying. Once they ask you for your birthdate and it is a year they are not sure exists, they start taking you by the elbow and talking louder.
    Sigh.

    ONWARD!

    P2Pt2 D12 WI#11,

It's beginning to look a lot like.... P3!
I have only today and tomorrow in P2, then transition and then P3!!! I'll be in P3 for Christmas, but I can do that. Most of what I like is P3-ish anyway.

I am up .4 so not sure if it is the thyroid med (took the ''third day' cut last night so just glad it is not over a pound!) or if I am just gettting to the end of my losses. I rarely get down that last three pounds that I want, so this is not a surprise. I cannot go longer as I have not only holiday stuff next week, but another surgery and that's all I can do. I guess I could transition three days, go off for 5 days and then come back.... ahhhhhhhhh, don' wanna. LOL.

(That would mean trasitioning TWICE and that's my least favorite part of this whole thing!)

Yeah, not happening. I am pretty close to sticking a fork in it. I may start transitioning tomorrow. I haven't taken my dose yet today so... hmmm. 18 inj before PI, now another 12, so I am right at 30. Hmmmm. I'll let you know tomorrow! I have five doses left so if I didn't have that darned surgery, I would go another five. But going another two ... I will not make my 15 pounds obviously.

    Pout. Gripe. Sigh.

    Onward.

I think that's great PearlyMae that you fit a sweater from 9 years ago and are happy in it. I pretty much go by what I can wear and how I look, so I think that's awesome.

I agree, you are most likely ready to transition to P3, so don't worry about it. With Christmas coming and surgery, you have done well. I won't be done by Christmas, but I am okay with it. I just needed to do this. I am doing okay today. Having chicken and spinach tonight. I passed my First Aid course, and have 2 job interviews next week, so excited about that.

We went to Costco earlier today and took the dog for walk. It snowed here yesterday and more today, so did some shoveling. We did good up until now with no snow lol. Good for Alberta lol.

When I was unpacking I found shirts from 20 years ago lol. I thought it was time to get rid of them. They were from special events lol. I let them go haha.

I know what you mean when people ask for your birthday and year. So annoying lol. I am 59 but I hate it lol.

    Have a great evening.

Thank you, Jayk! I thank all of you for taking into consideration my little quandries. Who else but fellow Lovelies would even understand the question (or care!) let alone have ideas on the answers!

I am down .2 of the .4 gain for yesterday. Woop de do. I checked back and I have a total net loss of .2 over the past 5 days. Sounds like I am done. I hate to waste those last five syringes in the freezer, and contemplated just cheating a little at the holiday parties and taking my hits, but there is still the surgery, minor as it is, and it always puts me on my hind feet for a day or two and I don't want it to throw me completely off. If I am on P3, I can prepare food ahead and be fine. Eating for COMFORT is a trigger for me, so I think I will find more comfort in appropriate P3 foods than P2!

The two events this week are the only holiday festivities on my calendar and it's not so much the food, (well, of course it is the food! ) but ALSO just being able to relax and be part of it all. One is an appetizer/dessert pot luck and I can graze easily on the appetizers for the most part (I'm taking bacon pickles and that's about as keto as one can get!) and the other is at a German restaurant that has been around for decades, but I have never been there. I'll look up the menu online beforehand. But I am not gonna get a small steak with green beans on the side there!

So, today is last dose day, but with the roller coaster of the past few days, I'll take my last dose and IF I am down tomorrow any, I'll take that as my LIW to soothe my disappointment a little. If I'm Up, I'll use today. LOL

I'll be weighing every day and will be here to see how everyone else is doing. December Losers need all the help they can get!

    Onward!

hello ladies, this seems to be the most active thread at the moment, so I thought I'd post my question here. I am not new to hcg, but haven't done it since the FDA banned it, so how are you ladies able to get real hcg?? I've been lurking on here for days and can't seem to find an answer. I really want to do a round! What am I missing?

    Thank you in advance.

I see your post and hear you, Chaquita, but I will let the moderators answer this question. I am not sure how to get it in the US. P

    Hi Chaquita,
You can still buy US produced Novarel and Pregnyl through the Diet Doc. But brace yourself for considerable sticker shock.

You can also contact Colin F Watson via his website. He carries a brand of HCG that is shipped from the US. Ignore his name link, it is broken. His website is easy to find with a simple search.

Either source is reputable and you will get a safe product.

    Hey Everyone.

Had a good day today. I made soup instead with celery, Ro-Tel Mild, bone to Broth seasoning, Paleo seasoning, and chicken. Those spices heat it up and the bone broth is good for me. Pretty sure the Ro-tel Mild is safe enough for P2. I use it lots otherwise with cauliflower riced when I am not on this diet. I can get sick of chicken fast on this diet, so need to swap up methods.

PearlyMae, both events sound like fun, and yes Bacon and Pickle is a good appetizer for sure. There are quite a few on P3 that one can enjoy. I love jalepeno poppers. Everyone else in the house is eating other foods, and it is not bothering me at all so far lol.

I am less stressed now that I am moved and have family support though, so I think I am more in the game this time.

I have new pellets ordered, but I am actually using pellets that say they expire this month. Working great so far for me.

Anyway hope you all had a great day, and have a great Evening.

Sending good vibes for scale drops. Maybe even a visit from the whoosh fairy!

Just wanted to add a comment that you can ignore expiration dates on pellets or pretty much any dry meds. The expiration dates have very little to do with the efficacy. Those dates are mostly about how long the manufacturer is willing to guarantee them. A study done by the military has shown that unless the tablet or powder discolors or changes texture, its pretty much good for decades. Probably longer, but the testing only covered about 25 years.

Wet things is another issue, except for something like hhcg drops which never expire. Although you can deactivate them by too much light or storing them next to an electrical field of some kind.

3 pounds in the scheme of things is nothing, Pearly! I do know how frustrating it is to not exactly ever make goal weight but I have learned to accept it. I look well close to my goal weight regardless and my clothes fit comfortably. I decided that at some point this is enough for me if I am close enough to goal. I hope you find peace with where you are at! You deserve it!
