    TGIF LOVELIES!!

I am already ready for this day to be OVAH!

AFM – way up to 176.0 this morning.
Carbs really hate me & I blew it out of the park last night.
    Cal/Carbs 1700/74, Fat 57%/Protein24%/Carbs19%
Food was a Quest bar for lunch, coffee/cream all day, a stew (made from leftover roast, carrots, onions, squash & zucchini + butter) and the food that really slayed me – SF Chocolate Chips. I went crazy with those things last night, (no idea why, I was slightly sicky after eating them, too) ending up with 36 carbs. They have to stay off the menu for a long while.

I did so good last week, and I’m going backwards this week. Maybe it is all the stress?
    Overworked Assistant.jpg
It has been a pretty psycho week. A friend and I have planned a lunch today for weeks, so I can’t back out of it. Gotta think of someplace semi safe for us to go that she will enjoy as well and eat a lot of plain protein!

Rachel – Tortilla soup is mostly spicy chicken soup if you leave out the tortillas – I gain maybe a pound from it (the salty goodness) but a healthy choice at Tex-Mex if you want something hot. You can always augment with a few avocado slices. I have to be careful with avocado, I tend to want to eat the entire thing at one time - I love them.

Randi – hooray all went well with DH!! Pretty tree! So cool to have your own wild tree, I like it! Like Amber says, not many tree “farms” in N.Texas, there are a lot in deep East Texas, but I’m not driving 4 hours for a tree in the woods – we did that when I was a kid (in East Texas) and never had to actually pay for a tree because we had so many family/friends that had lots of land.
Great Food pyramid, I need to print that one for myself and for Jennifer.

Amber – thanks – BTW since you live in Denton, all the Movie Taverns will have extra security on site ALL THE TIME through the Christmas/NY season, but especially this weekend. Not sure about other places, but M.T. has them in uniform in the lobby AND plain clothes inside the theaters.

Thanks, Brick for your kind words about my little painting – I was a tad nervous at first, then my hip ol’ lady vibe kicked in and said, SERIOUSLY you are nervous about THIS????? Then I just had fun with it.
Shirley McClaine I Am An Old Woman.jpg

Janeen – Ahhh, North Carolina is SO pretty! Glad you are having fun!

Pro – yes, I AM interested in seeing Star Wars, just not right now. Too many people, and I absolutely loathe being with very large crowds at anything. People are so rude and have no common sense or courtesy anymore.

    Good morning,

Quick check in here as lots to do before I head out for the weekend. I am getting super excited for the kids coming over the holidays. It is snowing here...again! Certainly a white Christmas! My friend popped over for a glass of wine and she owns an organic juice shop and brought me a bunch. Sure beats bringing out my juicer and cleaning up the mess! I got all my cards out, boy I am not used to writing anymore! LOL! My hand was sore! ha!

Love your Charlie Brown tree Randi!

Christie you did a wonderful job on your painting. I am wondering if you are not eating enough? I think you may need more protein and non starchy veggies in your day. We can gain from not eating enough as well. Calories are a funny thing as it seems to be some weirdo science to get it right.

    Have a wonderful weekend lovelies!

Thanks Sunny - I do really well when my carbs are below 20 and my fat is double or triple my protein. I can eat 1800 calories and still either maintain or lose a tad the next day . . . .the SF choc chips threw me off yesterday (reminder to me just because it is sugar-free, doesn't mean it is carb free!). And eating out twice this week. But still I should be happy, I started the week On Monday at 175.4, after all the stress this week, drinking a little wine at the paint party & eating out & choc chips, I'm at 176 today. Not too horrid. I will be super strict this weekend, lots of protein & good fat, and see where I am on Monday.

That reminds me I need to go to Costco for BEEF this afternoon! Moo Cow does show me lots of love.

I'm glad to see that everyone is doing well so far! I seem to always be 4 or 5 days behind....sigh. I will be more accountable when I start my round.

Just got done hauling wood. DH loves it when he doesn't have to do it. And I don't mind the exercise unless A: it is raining or B: it is windy.
Still fighting the same 5lbs up and down. Sure hope it is down by the time I start my round!

Roast beast and quest bars love me and I really should stick with them!

    Merry Christmas!

a full day of babysitting reminds me I am glad my children are older...LOL! I am exhausted!

We had our first real snow flurry activity today...it was nice to see, but i would rather have the warm weather we have been having.

Heading out tomorrow to pick up the hubby's gift...a cello...yes...a cello...because we have TONS of space for this instrument...LOL! I have no idea why he wants one...and as luck would have it a friend of ours BIL is clearing out his collection of instruments. It is a good brand, good reputation...I hope it is everything he wants. The challenge is getting it home and upstairs into the daughter's closet without him seeing it.

shoot oven ringing...gotta go...check in later...might be watching Antman tonight...

    have a great weekend all!

Popping in to let Christy know I LOVED your painting. I'd love to have it on MY wall. No decorating for me (X-mas lights strung in kitchen year around)...off to MT for holidays but THAT painting would go uP.

Randi-I love WILD trees best...naturally whimsical.

I'm 10 lbs ABOVE my LIW...the damn creep. So frustrating.

Hey Brick, Pearly, Last, Janeen, Amber, Rosel, Sunshine, Rach, JonJon, Pamla, Kat, ...

    Who'd I miss?

    Merry Merry

    Happy Happy

    to everyone. Mwah.
    Round 3:
    SW (8/1/15): 134.8 lbs. (+5 lbs R2 LIW)
LIW (8/29/15): 123.2 lbs. TOTAL LOSS -11.6 lbs.; 17.75 inches

    Went from a tight size 12 (164 lbs) to size 6 (123).

Apr 2016 Update: In the midst of Round 4 with a goal of ~123 lbs AGAIN, but more importantly, I'm looking to lose inches. 4/10/16: 126.6; size 6s loose.

Happy Super Saturday to my Lovelies!

Golly-gee-willikers – WHAT-A-WEEK it has been!! Tons-O-Drama at work (which I detest) but so many of those I work with seem to freakin’ THRIVE on it, so it is what it is. I love my job (as much as you can love a job that is a job, not a dream) and I am grateful for it I when so many work in really ugly conditions, for mean, hateful people or just flat can’t find a job.

AFM – down 1 lb to 175.0. That was nice to see this morning, since I've had a whole week of "UP's".
Lunch with friend went better than I thought in all ways (including HER drama at work), and I now know I can have an avocado blackened chicken Caesar salad at Reatta (decent FTW restaurant) without gaining the next day – hallelujah!
    (it was darn tasty, too!)

I haven’t gone out to Fitday to log my numbers – wanted to check in here first while I had a few minutes. Jennifer is coming over for a while today, I'm wrapping gifts, and trying to be very quiet while Jim catches up on his sleep (another 4:30am arrival, but so far so good with Star Wars).

Pamla – ya know, I never minded hauling wood either (back when we had to & also back when I was a child). We should have much more roast beast for sure in 2016. I’m grateful Moo Cow loves me. I think I lose best with it, even on P2.

Brick – I’m assuming DH can PLAY the Cello, right? I love hearing the Cello, but it can be painful if someone doesn’t REALLY know how to play it. Antman?

X-Mom – you’ll find lots of support here! Welcome. Great job on the 9lbs!

Rose – thanks – it is on an easel on top of one of the LR bookcases. It will probably come out at Christmas and get put away the rest of the time. The most important thing was it was really fun to do. Even for someone like me; the teacher really broke down his instructions in a very simple way, so it was easy to follow. It would be a great girlfriend outing.

Randi – thanks, hoping it will inspire Jennifer to do more painting on her own (you know the thought, "well, if ol' mom can do that . . . ) . . . she has REAL talent; this is a charcoal she did when she was 14. I was SO hoping she would do an art major in college, but I guess your head and heart just have to be in the right place? (I'm ignorant of the creative artist mentality) She took a lot of her art when she got her own home, but I wouldn’t let her have this one!!

    Batman.jpg

Edit/ Well, darn, now that I see how it posted, you can't really see much of the details. Just take my word for it. It is good, all done with charcoal & her sweet little fingers - I had to have this one because it was really the first that was starting to show her ability.

Better get back to Wrap, Wrap, Wrappin'!

    Wow! That is really good!
I've been wanting to go to one of those wine and paint things for a while now. I see groupons for them sometimes. I'm not artistic in that way either. In design school perspective drawing was my hardest class. Plans and elevations are no problem because they're flat (2D) but trying to figure out 3D is too hard for me!
AFM- still hanging out at 148.8 D'Lightful D'Lovely Losers in December I swear my body doesn't want to budge any lower. I'm thinking I might stop this P2 today, as I'm almost out of drops, and they are starting to irritate the skin under my tongue. Has that ever happened to any of you? It's kind of raw like when you burn the roof of your mouth.

Wow! My kids would love that batman!

Antman was OK...not guardians of the galaxy good but OK.

House full of teens and young adults after star wars movie. They came back here and Chris and I ordered pizza and wings for them all. I love all the voices...<3

So hubby and I had the house to ourselves for the first time in years and we wrapped xmas gifts! LOL! Daring!

As far as cello playing...i have no idea...he plays piano, bass guitar, guitar...but I have never heard him play cello in the 34 years I have known him...this very well could be a painful Christmas...

Sitting in front room while Chris is taking a nap upstairs. Young adults in familyroom. Listening but not...I remember being the young adult at to be my in laws and all our friends hanging out..

Christy, I forgot to tell you how much I loved your painting. I've been exploring doing something similar in my area in offering those type of art parties. I'm looking at it both ways my own site that they drive to and then someone hosting their party in their home.

    MERRY, MERRY Rose!

Brick, if he can play all those instruments I think your curve of "pain" will be short LOL. Let us know how that works out

AFM - I'm exploring Thin Healthy Mama I never could make it thru a whole week of Fast Metabolism Diet but I haven't given up. The thing that concerns me about THM is the low fat. I'm reading and checking it all out on Pinterest and my books should be here by Tuesday so when I get thru P3 I should be ready to move into it.
