Rshenk, I am totally with you right now. I was bang on the diet yesterday and I woke up tp only a .2 loss. Which means I am still up .2 from my cheat the other day.

I'm totally bummed out too. I was so hungry yesterday and I got through it by drinking a ton of water so I was sure it would show up on the scale. I really concerned that these new drops are not working...

Well I need to get ready for work.

Man have I been a busy girl. But managed to not cheat. I also managed to not lose any weight this past 3 days, but I'm thinking I need to get some Smooth Moves Tea to help remedy that? IDK. I'm still staying strong though.

My loss continues begrudgingly. I’m down to 259.5 lbs today, just squeaking into the 250s—yeah! Hopefully I won’t teeter back there anytime soon.

At this point in the diet I take smooth move about twice a week.

I should mention that my losses are generally larger than a lot of you not only because I’m a guy but because I have A LOT to loose. You can see from my ticker that my BMI was and is still really high. I’m so looking forward to being downgraded by the FDA to merely “overweight” instead of “obese”, lol. Still have about 17 lbs before that happens though.

I made spicy mustard chicken last night. I poach/boil the chicken in a deep pan. Remove it from the water when it’s fully cooked. Dump the fatty frothy water down the drain and rinse the pan. Then put the chicken back in the pan on med heat and coat with Grey Poupon mustard and crushed red pepper. David likes his chicken spicy!

Is it possible to lose over 2 pounds in 1 day? I weight myself the same time every morning. I'm not sure if my scale is messing with me or what...

Where is everyone? Post some updates.

Yes, Anna, you can definately loose 2 lbs in a day, particularly if you've been stalling. This late in phase 2 if I have a loss like that the next day some will come back then it'll go down again over the next couple days. But it sounds like you're headed in the right direction--down!

I'm at the same weight as yesterday. This is the worst part of the whole diet in my opinion. I'm on VLCD day 19. It starts to get boring! This is when you need to start changing up your menu. Stick with the HCG approved foods and avoid the beef but look at the list again and go buy some foods you've avoided and FORCE yourself to eat them.

I'm also cutting the fruit. I've been eating almost two portions a day, which is the allowance but I find I just don't loose weight doing that. So today I have spinach for breakfast. Yumm! [sarcasm] I'm not even hungry but I'll eat the spinach for the fiber, nutrition and so I won't be hungry later. I want to loose 10 more lbs. before going to phase 3.

When should I stop phase 2? That's a legitimate question. My goal has been 30 days or 40 lbs, whichever comes first. But somewhere past day 25 if I feel like I'm just not loosing enough I will go to Phase 3. At this point you've lost some weight but unless you complete phase 3 and 4 successfully you will just gain it back--that's really important. Don't blow off phase 3 and 4 just because you're happy with your success and want to do something else.

Keep up the hard work David. Yes week three is always drudgery in my book. I'm not sure if i'm bored by then or it's just the inches week for my body after losing so much weight in those first two weeks. I would advise at least getting past week three before stopping.

I am sticking with this round until I lose 30 lbs. It will put me into P3 happily before thanksgiving. With as much as I need to lose, I don't do phase 4 (very rogue yes i know). So I will be loading on thankgiving and getting back on with the losing.

    20 down... 10 to go.

Thanks David for the recipe idea... this week is tough for me not only has the newness wore off, the food has become boring but TOM is being a bully. But I am determined to stick it out for 4 weeks. Would love to lose another 5 in the remaining time. The weight loss is acting very stubborn. .4 again this morning. Better than a gain but not the results it feels like I work for. The thought of dropping the fruits panics me, I like veggies but... enough already... I am getting all my water in and sticking to protocol so...here is to the next 12 day. Chugging along...ROSE

    Hello Everyone...

I am still just eeking out the losses. Today I am down .6 lbs which is better than the past few days but I am hoping to get some better loses for my last several days of P2. Since it's night here I am basically down to 9 days. I am a bit of a shrimp kick. I love it! and it really fills me up.

I am gonna head off for my nightly walk. Sorry to have such a short post I'm tired and can't think straight.

Well done everyone, keep it up "losers"

Rose - TOM can be brutal, losses usually slow down leading into it but never fear they will pick back up after a couple days and you'll be losing again.

For those who have stalled out, instead of changing up your foods too much, remember you will lose weight and then inches.... during the "inches" phase you won't lose very much weight. It is part of the process. You need the nutrients from the fruit, veggies, and proteins to keep your body functioning the right way. Be careful taking things into your own hands.

Also if you are having slow releases, check your lotions, body wash, shampoo and anything else for those evil oils that will mess things up. Fifteen min in the sun everyday is a great way to cheer up the spirit and it's a great way to get that extra Vitamin D rolling.

    Hi Everyone,

When you order fish in a restaurant like tilapia or trout...... It often comes with two filets... two halves. Is that one serving or two? When I look online it says one serving of tilipia is 120 calories, but what exactly is a serving? Is a filet the piece of fish or is a filet the whole fish giving two halves when it is deboned?

Doila and David A, I am curious about how long you plan to stay on Maintenance? Doila, I saw you are skipping P4 is that the last 3 weeks with carbs? This round I had planned to do the 40 day round which will take me to Nov. 13. I was tentatively planning to be on maintenance for the next 6 weeks which would take me through the holidays and than start Round 2 Jan. 1.... I would love to get in another round before Jan. 1 so am wondering if a better plan is Round 1 21 or maybe 30 days and than only 3 weeks of Maintenance than Load on Thanksgiving as you are thinking Doila and get a round in before Christmas? Is that doable or considered not part of the protocol. I also have about 60-70 more pounds to lose.

I'm kinda rogue on my P3 p4... i haven't done a p4 yet. I do stabilize quite well for the 2-3 weeks off of the drops between rounds. My body loves living on veggies and proteins. I had so much to lose to start out that i didn't want to waste any unnecessary time. I wanted to get the weight off so i could start living again. I will be off of this p2 in about a week and a half and then will load up on thanksgiving. Then i will just power through christmas on p2. Honestly if i wasn't on p2 during christmas i'm sure i would gain a ton. So i have learned to just pack my food up and take it with me. My family is used to me doing it now and my extended family isn't real observant.
