    P4 D29 I think.

    Okay, I'll start!

Whoo hoo, I'm under LIW suddenly. Gig is right, I want a linear reaction between what I put in my mouth and weight gain, and that does not happen exactly. There are so many other things to consider, like gravitational shifts...

We are enjoying a day of sunshine, not bright but at least the sky is a pale blue without cloud formations. Could be 60 degrees today, which would maybe dry out the mud from all that melted snow. We still get freezing temps overnight which causes the melt to turn to ice. My neighbor lady slipped on her own sidewalk and broke her leg badly. Ugh. Our walks are shoveled, but the banks of snow on either side melt during the day and if there is anywhere downhill, it drains there and then ices over. Watch yourselves!

My little mama rescue Schnauzer gets lost on a straight sidewalk. I carry her out to the sidewalk from my patio to the garage in my side yard. She does not understand that green prickly stuff and won't go near it, raised on cement at a puppy mill. She always gives a few barks when she wants to come back in. Some days I find her at the far end of the sidewalk, facing the other way. I call out Piper, what are you doing? And she spins around in total surprise. THERE YOU ARE! She has gotten to the end of the sidewalk and can't figure out where she is and or how to get back. She runs to me, or at least a few feet in my direction, so relieved.

I'm thinking there is a metaphor or something there, like when we get to the end of where we think we should be going, maybe just turn around! LOL.

Last injecton day weight: 146. I made my 14 pound loss even with 3 less injection days than I had planned. (I lost one to not having to decrease dose halfway through, and the other two to a syringe-filling mishap.) First transition day to P3, and I've got a pound cushion already. But it wasn't honestly gotten. I was attacked by leaf mold yesterday, which is like a bad head flu for me. I was nauseous all day and too weak to do anything. I managed to get one cracker down with some ginger tea, but that took 3 trys. I'll do some breathing treatments today and hopefully that will clear the rest of this up.

All in all, a really good round. Dose was spot on all the way through, no long stalls, and a result better than expected. And, my experiments with expired HCG and using half&half in my coffee didn't have any bad effects.

I could consider a second round later in spring, but my stable setpoint seems to be 138. If I lose to below it, it always goes back there, so seems hardly worth it.

Feeling good in my clothes, so that's the big deal for me.

    P4 D...31.. Let's just say Month 2

Yay Leez! So happy for you to have a wonderful round and are at a weight that works for you. Clothes fitting and comfy is so much more important than a number on a mechanical box that ya stand on. Ouch on the day of feeling awful. I hope today is wonderful! We are having a day of sunshine and then WOMP --another six inch snow storm.

I am up but my littlest jeans still fit fine, so will take that as fluctuation! I am pretty sure I did not eat enough yesterday. My biggest loss lately was after a supper of roast beef, mashed cauliflower with cream cheese and butter, and asparagus. Later had a handful of raspberries. I often just snack at night and then I am up the next day. I was blaming the apple but it was probably an all day not enough protein thing.

I don't think I have the lost at the end of a straight sidewalk metaphor right yet. Maybe, "when you get to the end of what you know, look around, there is always someone to help you! " Or anybody have another idea?

    Onward!

@PearlyMae, love the story/metaphor about the your fur baby, and am so sorry to hear about your neighbor's broken leg. Life sure can throw curve balls - hope she mends well and quickly. How about this: sometimes when things seem cloudy, maybe a change in perspective is all that's needed to see the rainbow in the other direction? Oh well, not feeling much muse today.

@Leez, those allergies sound horrible! I agree with better understanding a new set point after weightloss. For this attempt, I raised my goal weight - no use trying for a goal I probably can't maintain, what with post-menopause, and it being from my 20's! It actually made me relieved and able to focus on the tasks at hand.

I'm in my first round, with 2 weeks till P2 end. Am trying something new I read about in the HCG 2.0 blog. I'm doing Intermittent Fasting (IF) the last two weeks to see if I can increase the loss for the end of the phase, since it's just creeping as usual now. I'm starting with olive oil coffee in the morning for a few days (we grow olives for oil so am using ours instead of MCT or coconut oil for now). One big HCG diet meal at night; coming lunch and dinner, but no fruit or carbs. The fat helps the first few days to ward off hunger, too. Then, after those three days, I'll eliminate the olive oil in coffee. The thought is that I need to shake up the pattern again to eke out more weight loss. Tease my system with a little fat, go more keto and IF at night, then remove the fat for the remainder of the phase.

Started the coffee/olive oil yesterday. I could feel the weight melt off last in that weird way that this diet does. Lost 1.2 and can feel it in body measurements. Fingers crossed this helps with finishing out P2 with more than the usual 15# loss. I'll then follow with the P3tolife program from HCG Chica through the 6 weeks, then start on R2.

    Happy Ground Hog Day!

Doing my last transition day today. Was a little better about eating yesterday, but still didn't get all my food in. (Residual leaf mold attack still at work). I'm mostly working on getting rehydrated. The scale is being kind for now, and I'm down another pound. It is nice to go into P3 with a 2 pound cushion. Most of my rounds, I had no cushion. With cushion is definitely more peaceful. Of course, one always hopes they can keep that extra loss, but I haven't managed to yet.

I decided just waiting for the next mold attack is not good. They are too severe. So I'm getting an air purifier for my bedroom, and possibly a personal one that can be worn around my neck when I go out in mold season. It may not help avoid these attacks completely, but should lessen the severity.

    P4 Month 2

Hi Zoo! Welcome aboard! Plan your work and work your plan! You got this.

Leez, good for you for being pro-active with the air purifier! Probably wasn't in your budget this week, but worth it! Whoo hoo to cushions!

I said I was up yesterday but I forgot to change my ticker so today I am down and... back where I was! LOL. Kinda miss having the ticker DROP when I am down. But it IS a thrill to see the lower number when I step on the metal box after a gain the day before. Again, more protein yesterday so maybe that is my key. If I eat a larger breakfast, I forget lunch, so I do need to eat a dinner that is more than a snack.

I know. "I forget lunch." hahahahahaha! Who does that?

    Hi Everyone

Thanks for the best wishes on the job. I did get it. I haven't started yet. Just waiting on the fingerprint check and then all is good. Will let you know how it goes.

Doing well in P4 so far. I didn't eat well this past week, but do make sure to have my Bone Broth and collagen daily regardless. I didn't eat badly either. Just poor meal planning, so I guess what I mean is not proper suppers.

Raining here today, possibly snow tomorrow. Of course it will freeze. haha

Leez, I am happy your round went well for you.
PearlyMae, I love reading your stories. You keep me motivated.
Mermaid, congrats on your loss. My family ate the same way it sounds like yours. Veggies, and protein, then maybe dessert.
Mo, sounds like your doing well in P3. I use My fitness pal to keep track of my carbs, fat and proteins
mrrstrong, that's a good plan to treat on your Birthday. You deserve it. That is my friends birthday as well.
gig, always good to hear from you and I agree about the obesity in the US. It's sad. All I can say is in the last few years it is so nice to see better products available in grocery stores anymore.

    Have a good day all

Jayk, just wanted to say that I've always loved your avatar. It just says to me--here I am, feeling good in my skin and just doing normal things.

That's really been my goal--the quest to feel normal and just look like an average person in my clothes who just lives their life and doesn't have to think about fixing their body all the time. Not there yet. But getting closer.

Leez, we get temperature inversions that trap a haze of fine particulates, and I was sneezing my way through a box of tissues a day. I bought a big HEPA air filtration unit, and it cleans all that stuff out. Plus it absorbs cooking scents. An over-sized unit like mine can be run at lower, more quiet speeds than a smaller unit run on high.

This one does up to 3500 square feet (which is more than I need) and also has a hepa filter, but the main function is to send out negative ions that drop the particulates to the ground. It will also add ozone if you want it. I don't think I'll be overtaxing it. I'm loving how quiet it is even on the top fan speed. I have a central vac, so any stuff I sweep up goes to the canister in the basement.
