gz, you mentioned the nasal spray. Are you also doing 2.0? I went to look at the site and am interested in trying the spray. Do you ever need to adjust the number of sprays due to hunger?

MrsStrong, yes, I do 2.0 though I'm not currently doing a round. I have not had to adjust the number of sprays, but there's no reason not to do so.

    P4 Month 2

Up a pound, but I knew being that far under my window was not sustainable or even a good idea. I am extremely happy to see my goal weight, tho, on the scale.

Hope everybody has a good day today. If you run into trouble, call me and I'll come kick some shins. Or at least take a deep breath and think, Aunt Pearly says "It's all good!)

    Onward!

    P3D9 at LIW

Had some ezekiel bread yesterday with cream cheese. I have done fine with it in previous P3s, but try to wait to use it until week 2. No scale change, so doing well. This has been the quietest the scale has ever been in P3 for me. Usually, I'm pushing the top of my window the whole first week. This time, it just slowly went up to LIW and has stayed there. Gotta say, this is way better. ^_^

Yay Pearlie. Love those good scale days, when it can come up and you are still happy.

Oh wow! Thank you all for chiming in with your experiences with menopause, hrt and hcg. I can not tell you how grateful to hear them.
Definitely increasing my patch dosage. Doc called it in and should get it in a week I assume, in the mail. I am fortunate that my doc said at our first meeting that she sees no reason for women to be pulled off hrt if symptoms persist and can use hrt till end of our days. Lots of happy dancing inside. My perimenopause started in my late 30's. But this last year was INSANE. I went from managing to spinning out of control in weeks. I am ready for some balance and to tackle other things instead of the abundance of physical issues of menopause.

I remember being on hcg before and always feeling better. Like it balanced me during my perimenopause time. I am feeling much more confident about using hcg with hrt and looking forward to starting. These next weeks I will use to stock pantry with appropriate items and transition to higher dose hrt.

Need to mention... This place feels like home. Thank you.

    Just a quickie

Congratulations to everyone on the individual successes!

I decided to keep going on this round all the way to at least 40 injection. Since I had my TOM in there with a break from injections for a few days, I might push it to 45 if I don't show signs of immunity, since that will get me below 160 (and eliminate the need to do another round in 6 weeks) if I keep going at the same rate.

165.7 on the scale this morning. Total of 23.2 lbs down so far. That phase where friends you haven't seen in a month want to know what your secret is -- two have made appointments with my OBGYN to start rounds themselves!

Here's to women supporting women (and all the guys lurking on the thread too.) by talking about our health as we age!

Sorry for just a quick hello. My weekend started out good. Saturday had a good day and bought my friend lunch on her birthday. Sunday we planned to take my husband out for awhile, but ended up taking him to the hospital. Spent the whole day there and he is still there. He is stable now, but they are still keeping him there.
I started my new job yesterday and I like it very much. Going today again and I go to the hospital after work to see him.

Glad your all doing okay and keeping within your windows.

Talk soon, just wanted to update my situation.

    P4 Month 2

Prayers for you, Jayk. Thinking of you today.

When I started this ten years ago, I told myself there were three things I did not have to give up. One was birthday cake at a birthday party. I honestly can't remember the other two, so I probably gave them up! LOL.
But I'm up .6 today, my nephew had a wonderful 20th birthday party and I enjoyed a tiny slice of red velvet cake. All good. I will be verrrreeeeeee careful today and tomorrow and see where I go.

My client offered me a LOT more work. I struggled for three days to come up with a number for a retainer for what I do now and that additional. My sister used to be a VP of sales for England and Europe for a large multinational, so had her review my proposal. LOL. She kept saying, this is your work product, not a proposal. Less detail! Less detail! They just want the bottom line! I finally sent it in as six bullets and a dollar amount (after doing three spreadsheets and writing half a book explaining myself!) They liked it. Said it was short and sweet and thanked me for it, but said they were going to round the number UP to take to the client. OMG. It will help me soooooo much if it comes through. And yes, it was all at a considerably higher rate. Whew.

    Onward!

Good going, Pearlie. Sounds like it will go through.
Praying for you and your husband, Jayk.

    P3D10 - LIW +1
First day over LIW, no reason for it, as yesterday was a perfect P3 day, so hopefully its not starting a trend. Will just continue on course today, whistling over my shoulder as if nothing has happened.

Ok, this may be a dumb question since a lot of your are also very well experienced menopausal ladies! However, I have been experiencing menopause for almost 2 years now. Luckily for me, Black Cohosh does the trick and took away my hot flashes. I may get one a month now, but it also helped my best friend tremendously! I know some people do not get the same results, but if you have not tried it, it may be worth trying.

Good going, PearlyMae - I hope your client approves!

Jayk: I hope your husband recovers. And that you continue to like your new job.

AFM: My ski season is over, waaaah! I fell Monday and broke my ankle. Fortunately I have "pass protection" that should get me a partial refund, and my medical insurance is good.

So sorry to hear that gz. How awful for you. I remember that pain. Praying you heal quickly. Being immobile is so hard when you want to be out and about.
