    Prayers for all!

    Happy Galentines/Valentines day m'dears!

Jayk - I hope you and your husband get the medical and respite care that you need!
gz9gjg - Mid season is the worst time to get broken! Right when the snow is perfect. I'm so sorry, that is a huge bummer. I hope it heals on time without complications.
Pearly - Nice job on the presentation/pitch!
    Brick/Slim: welcome and welcome back!

I'm hovering around the weight i was at for about 5 years before I did this round. 165.5-166 Been sitting at it for a few days. No abnormal hunger or anything, so it doesn't feel like what I imagine immunity is, but I'm definitely not back to my previously normal healthy 150-155 goal. I've done all the "flush" activities. Apple day three days ago, warm bath/mild sauna/compression leggings/girdle...

This didn't happen to me before on my previous two rounds in 2014 and 2017, so I'm only going off of the OP and what others have shared on forums.

I'm wondering if immunity or TOM is to blame? Would it still be a good idea to wait until my cycle starts before pausing injections? Increase my dosage? My cycle was only normal again this past month, so I'm not even sure if it will start this week like I'm hoping.

I will say that my arms and back are finally starting to lose that squish from the steroid, so even if my skin hasn't caught up yet, reshaping might be happening earlier than I expected.

Mermaid, Leez will hopefully chime in, but it is not unusual for losses to hit the pause button every once in a while. It does not mean it is not working and it does not mean you will not continue to lose. Your body is likely just taking a breath to acclimate to the losses you have had so far, and then it will start up again. Maybe a wooosh, maybe just regular losses. While I am NOT good at this part: Some things take patience! :-)

gig! OH NO! We need another button to click, as I did not want to LIKE or THANK for that post, just SORRY! I have not broken my ankle, but did break my foot about a year ago and it is NOT FUN. Well, using the little go carts at Walmart and Costco WAS kinda fun... And the knee scooter was pretty helpful... but so sorry!

Same today. I've been spoiled and now I want to go down!

    ON WARRRRRD!

Hi Mermaid, especially in a long round, you are going to have some periods of no weight movement. This is actually a good thing, because it means your body is figuring out how to deal with the extra water stores its been holding. This will generally result in a release sometime before the end of your round. If you go through a round without some of these "regrouping" periods, it can happen in your P3 and can really mess you up on the scale. So its a good thing that its happening now. You are still losing fat, your body is just replacing it in your cells for a time with extra water. When the water finally goes, the weight loss will then show up on the scale.
Here's the little graphic that helps explain it:

    Welcome Sweet Pea!

Hope you all are enjoying the weather we have in Colorado (or warmer!) What a nice break from getting snow dumped on us every few days.

Well, I got the raise in rate and I got a contract for 3 times more work. Whoo hooo. I feel like I have a future again. Zoom meeting first thing this morning with people in 12 countries! Yikes.

We are getting ready for a conference in Uruguay. I better get busy on Babble and learn enough Spanish to say Where is my Hotel?

I am back down .6 to that lovely number. I had a teeny bit of chocolate at club last night but avoided seventy-eleven other Valentine desserts. That was a win! They are never as good as they look anyway, and certainly not as good as looking at 2.8 below LIW on the scale.

    Trying not be obsessed.

    Check in!

Mermaid, thanks - yes the snow was really nice, 100" base. Unfortunately I caught an edge and went down in a twisting fall. The Dr said my ski boot helped me avoid worse injury, so there's that.

I hope you are doing weekly skip days - that is supposed to help avoid immunity in a long round.

    P3D12 LI2 + 2 & a few
Just a tad over the 2 pound window today, so steak day for me. I have some sausage and a lamb chop I'll cook later. Will be surviving on coffee till then. Not much of a hardship, as I'm not hungry today. I woke up with some kind of intestinal disturbance, so that bit of inflammation may be the problem. Otherwise feel fine. i got through over half of P3 without a steak day. I usually have to do at least one the first week.

We had a couple unseasonably warm days this week, but now back to Feb norms in the 40
    s. At least there is some sunshine. That helps mood for sure.

Thank you all for the thoughts and best wishes. My husband came home last night.. They never really figured out what he had, but with the treatment they gave him and Antibiotics he is doing better. His vitals were good enough for him to leave the hospital. We have some followup stuff to do next week and go from there

Welcome Sweetpea and good luck with your round

Congrats on your increases and more work PearlyMae. Always a nice feeling to get that sorted out and know you have work to do.

Sorry to hear about your ankle gz9gjg, and glad your doing okay and can get a Partial refund etc.

Mermaid, what everyone says is true in longer rounds, but just know the hcg is doing it's thing in those times where the scale stalls.

Leez, it's always nice your not that hungry when having to do a steak day. I am sure that will correct itself tomorrow.

We had sunshine today, so we took the Pomeranian for a walk after work today. It could be a bit warmer, but the sun felt great.

I am loving my job so far and the people are super nice so far there. Thanks for all the best wishes.

    P4 Month 2

    What nice posts from everyone!

Thank you for the support as I went through craziness over work stuff. Honestly, I think I have been a little depressed, up and down. Telling me to cut my thyroid meds in half did NOT help. Every time I tried, I ended up in tears, feeling helpless. It takes literally MONTHS to get back to human.

I canceled the appt with the dr. that I was trying to please, but have a referral for a doc in Denver. Standing by.

I had my almond flour muffin yesterday, and I am still down another .4. I can make three slices out of it, as it puffs up quite a bit, but yesterday I carefully cut it into 4 slices and ate two and saved two for today. Maybe that is closer to my tolerance level. Or maybe it had nothing to do with that creep the past few weeks. Obsessed. I need to both keep an eye on all of it, but not be obsessed. Tricky.

Here's to another great day! I already put the garbage and recycle out before the trash guys showed up, so I feel accomplished already!

    P3D13 LIW -1

Steak day was successful, down 3+ pounds and back under LIW, where I like to be. The hardest part of steak day for me is getting in all the water, but that seems key to being successful, so I make sure that happens. The day after a correction is always stressful, because I've never found any reliable formula that seems to keep the loss. It either holds or it doesn't. So we will see how this goes, and if this is a blip or I've started on a correction roller coaster.

Good luck with your muffin, Pearlie. I think there is a definite happiness factor to being able to enjoy certain foods without fear.

Thank you, Jayk - I woke from anesthesia about 11 am, they finally let me have lunch at 2 pm. After 15 hours of fasting, the salmon and Caesar salad and buttered/creamed coffee was most welcome! They don't approve of Lyft rides home so they kept me overnight, which is fine since I have trouble cooking on crutches! I just have to remember to ask for salt and pepper with my dinner and breakfast.
