This day was hard for me, because I have not always been a "meat" person, but it worked to take all the weight back off.

Also I'm insulin resistant so I know any out of the way carbs are going to make me gain. :/
Thanks for this Kim (and Carolina for your daily menu too) - very helpful. I guess I will have to go more slowly through P3 and play with the fruits a bit more to be sure that they are okay for me. I assumed that because I could eat them in P2 that they would be good for P3 too. I thought I was being really good about adding one food at a time but maybe not so much.

Interestingly enough, on the 2nd or 3rd day of P3, I added peanut butter (natural, only peanuts and salt). Bad idea as I gained 1.5 lbs or so the next day. But now, 10 days later, I just decided to give it another shot and NO GAIN from peanut butter. I also ate hard boiled egg whites all the way through P2 so I figured eggs were no problem. I think I had a scrambled egg (w/yolk) on the same day as the PB. It's very possible that just adding the yolk now from my scrambled eggs messed me up that day rather than the PB. Guess I will slow down even more and figure it out.

The calendar says only one more week of P3, but I think I'm hanging here for much longer than that before going the starch/sugar route for P4 to be sure that I can really stabilize. I've had three pints of Haagen-Daaz chocolate PB ice cream in my freezer for almost two months that are staring at me each day - they remind me that the longer it is before I go there, the easier it will be to not over-indulge.

Thanks for all of the support

Steak day got me down 1.8 pounds so I'm in LDW range again. Yay!
Hope you all are having a nice Sunday.

Hi Kim, do you feel fatigue and lethargy in p2? I noticed you did injections. I wonder if that makes a difference. On the one hand, I'd like to feel better. On the other hand, I'm almost halfway through this p2 and it would probably be better to stick it out than to start experimenting with how to feel better. My raspberries are coming in, and they are going to be hard to resist. I will try to hold out until
    P3 in 2&1/2 weeks!

When I was on P2 I never had fatigue or lethargy, which I loved because I've always had it in everyday life. I agree it would prolly be better to try to stick with instead of switching half way through. I have no experience with switching mid stream, but have read where a few ppl on here tried to switch and had a bad time doing it. Mmm, nothing like fresh raspberries, I'm one of those that could clear a bush in a few minutes. LOL!

BTW I didn't have any dizziness til I started P3.

I ride on the back of whatever my guy Mr. Harley owns on any given day. He's been riding for 50+ years. A real biker dude. : )
We've been dating for 3 years and he's owned 4 Harleys in that time. A standard, a V-rod, a street glide, and his favorite a screaming eagle dyna-glide. He has sold everything besides the screaming eagle and has his eye on either another V-rod or an Indian. Very fickle man. : )

There's one ride he seems to be stuck on, though...

Damn. I haven't been on the back of a bike in many years. I had two boyfriends who rode crotch rockets. When my ex bf's friend took me for a ride on his Ninja - that was a rush. I gotta say I would be more of a Harley girl these days, though.

Still sleepy. I had a very short nap. We have had a really crappy spring with very little sun, so I don't know how much that is a factor, how much dieting is a factor and how much my very effective anti-anxiety meds are a factor. Probably a bit of it all adding up. I know I was super sleepy early in the golf season at work last year, so that has to be part of it as well. *shrug
