Hello everyone. I will be finishing my round of P2 soon. I think since my tooth issue, I didn't do so well. I was all set to be dedicated like in December, but with that going on, and then shift work, my husband and appointments , trying to get things sorted out for him, it's not working out so well.
Sometimes I am so good at handling things, then next time I am not.. We are trying to get my husband stronger, if that can even happen. Working with physio etc. Plus he has to want to do it, and it's hard work getting there.
If he doesn't get stronger, we all need to deal with that as well down the road here in coming months.

I have lost, am almost where I want to be but think I will end it at the 23 days.
My heart is just not in it now like I wanted to be. So just being honest with myself, and will do the proper P3 etc. But then just going to focus on toning up and eating well. I think right now that is best for me.
I think I just rushed in, cause I wanted to do it.
All I can do is move forward, and no point dwelling on it. I will work on setting time aside to do the things I need to do and go from there.

Other than that, things are good.

Good luck, Jayk, I.hope everything goes well! I have found a PI helps me keep my head in the game. I've even said, "I'm done", started P3, then a week later decided to resume P2.

Just take care of yourself, Jayk. With all of your responsibilities you need to do what's good for you, too. You have done well, and you are doing what is the best thing right now. Keep with us, ok?

Finally I am down a decent amount, .8. I was down a bit yesterday too.

I have a full day 'retreat' today, at the office--where I never go!- to do Team Building. I just need to smile pleasantly and keep my mouth shut. I expect there will be goodies and I will be bored so not sure how it will work out. Straight through lunch and then out to an Italian restaurant for dinner. Ah.Pasta. Great. Hope I can get a nice salad. Probably by that time I'll be waving down the waiter to tell him to skip the entre and bring me two desserts and keep em coming...

    ONward! HO!

Jayk, I hope you will give yourself grace and celebrate that you have gotten close to goal. That is no small accomplishment considering the stress you are under. You are stronger than you realize. We all are.

Pearlie, glad you are seeing a downward trend. Amazing how that brightens a day. Even when you have spent a lot of effort to detach your state of mind from the scale, it still can have power over you.

P2D11: After 4 weighs with no loss.....finally down 2 pounds. Yay whoosh fairy!

Good morning!! Yesterday was a disaster. I got soooo hungry. I ate two bags of Quest protein chips, an apple and steak last night at around 8:30 pm. this was in addition to my meals. Im going to skip my HCG today to see whether I need to increase or decrease my dose. The only thing I dont remember is how to determine which I need to do. Do I increase if Im hungry in the morning and decrease if hungry in the evening or is that reversed?

Im going to try not to eat too much today but I cant stop thinking about a bacon cheese burger!!! LOL

On your skip day, only pay attention to how you feel in the late afternoon. (assuming you take your HCG in the morning)

If hunger recedes, you dose is too high.

If hunger increases, your dose is too low.

Hunger levels in the morning do not matter. Its only the afternoon check that will tell you which way to adjust.

Generally, it by increments of 25 (or .25) either up or down. Unless you are already very high or very low. For instance, if you are already on a low dose of 100iu, you cannot decrease below 80iu, as the HCG becomes ineffective below that.
