Good work every buddy! Way to get back under LIW, Rose. I will hope I can do so, too.

I had some minor surgery on my toes on Friday (stumbled into a concrete step and broke 3 toes ... had to lose a couple of toenails to avoid infection) (yeah. OW. ) but kept my eating 110% normal P3. Up 2.6 pounds overnight anyway. I can't see that the swelling on a few toes could be over 2 pounds worth, LOL, so think I had a reaction to the numbing shots. (They say they don't hurt---but they STING!) I am going to wait a few days to weigh. That was way too discouraging!

It took a loooooong time, but I got rid of my 'big' clothes a few years back. I have a few summer weight jeans -colored and white- that I have to be under a certain weight to feel comfortable to wear and some summers.... they languish. My winter clothes are mostly a size or even two up and that is just the way winter is. I do wear leggings, and when my weight is up, yep, they look reallllllly different! LOL. So in winter, long sweaters over!

When I started working from home, I had NO 'casual' clothes. Had to go out and buy a mess of jeans (ended up getting Gloria Vanderbuilts from Kohl's, which are size 4.) and the same exact jeans in carpri length for summer. When I went to get a pair of white jeans for a trip last summer, wearing a pair of those size 4's to the store, I found that in Macy's I wear an EIGHT. Sizes are so crazy. I have one pair of size 10 jeans I wear for yard work. Who knows what size we wear, when they have changed women's sizing FOUR Times in my lifetime and different stores/brands follow their own ideas! Then I started going to the Y and went and bought leggings and athletic jackets at thrift stores, just went for Medium. They all fit differently. I can't get to the Y now, so wear them around the house. Back in my 20's, I wore a 9, the 'young' (junior) version of a 10, and weighed no more than 10 pounds less than I do now. "Skinny" jeans? Mis-named. NOBODY looks skinny in those. Apple on a stick.

I'll weigh Wednesday and see how I am doing.

PS" NOT updating Ticker. I'll update when I get back tosomething I want to see.

Pearl, I'm sorry to hear about your foot! That hurts me just thinking about it!!

And are you talking about the Amanda jeans? I found a few years ago that you have to check the tags for where they are manufactured! The ones made in Indonesia and one other place (can't remember) always had a little more stretch and ran a little bigger than the others-- like a whole size or more! And the colored jeans ran larger than the regular denim. It's frustrating. When I am eBay shopping, I try to stick with certain brands/styles and purchase based on measurements and fabric content. But even then, brands like say, Talbots, have sized up the past 5 years, so you have to watch the tags to see if they are the older or newer things! It's crazy!

Oh, PearlyMae, that sounds like it hurt! I know how tough it is to get around when your foot / ankle are injured. I hope you heal up quickly.

P2D28: no loss. Total loss so far: 11 pounds.

This has been a weird round. Since day 13, I have only lost 2 pounds. That's one pound a week for the last 2 weeks. It has certainly been a test of mental endurance.

I'll decide tomorrow whether to take one more injection or not. It depends on what the scale says in the morning. I'd love to at least get another pound off before going into P3. We'll see what happens.

My heart goes out to you, Jayk. It is so hard to watch someone you live decline.
Thank you Leez. He is managing but very slowly to do his hobby. So if he is happy with that, then it's good.

@jayk. kudos for your husband for making an effort on his hobby Afm i cannot afford implant on back tooth..over $3000 so they will do bridge or removable tooth. planning on early June extraction
P4 146.6 so under liw slightly
Yes he is trying Rose. That is all we can hope for. Hope everything goes well with your tooth... It's good there are options.

@JayK Good for your husband giving his hobby a try again. I'm not sure what has happened, but I will add you both to my nightly prayers.
Thanks Jenny. Hope all is well with you and that your week is better. It's a struggle sometimes with so many things going on

tho it’s still a lot it is a compressor issue and metal pipe. so decided to let Ford do it ready Tuesday
Wej had to change out a compressor in the TrailBlazer a few years back. They aren't cheap but thankfully we did it ourselves. It is so nice to have A/C in a vehicle.

You look Great Rose. Still look more like sixties than your age. Your paintings our wonderful. I love them all. I really like the Sailboats.

@PearlyMae - so sorry about your toes. That must have been painful. I know it hurts bad enough stubbing a toe. I feel for you.

Hi gz9jgj and anyone else I missed.

I try not too keep too many clothes that don't fit. After moving last year, I went through a bunch.

Congrats on your losses so far Leez. I did lose enough on this last round and seen a bit more shaping this week. So I am happy I did it.

I will finish up P3 by this coming week, and onto P4 again. I agree that even 2 lbs is hard to lose without doing HCG. So strange that way, but I know it's true.

Just been busy with work, finding all my lawn care stuff. Managed to mow the lawn last week before it rained. This week I have more cleanup on my days off.

Will try to post back sooner, I would read the pages, but be too tired to think and type lol. I have a couple days off coming up.

P2D29: no loss, so yesterday will be my LIW at 138.

Just could not overcome that old 138 setpoint even though I hit 140 at day 14. But, maybe I'll get enough reshaping in P3 to be happy with that anyway. Right now, I still have some torso puffiness that should be gone at this weight but is still there.

@jayk, it encourages me that you saw some reshaping later into P3.

    @Pearlie: ouch

Looks like there is some good news about HCG availability connected with the forums. There is no information about pricing yet, but you can check out this initial post:

I saw that post the other day and wondered if it was spam. I almost reached out to you to ask.

P2D21: down .6. 191.4. It's finally coming off again, but very slowly.

Last transition day for me today, and P3 tomorrow. woohoo! Was gifted with a pound loss this morning, so I'll have at least one pound of cushion in P3.

Planning to go out later for some P3 supplies. I did pretty good on judging my P2 purchases. Will run out of fruit and pre-portioned proteins today but will complete the process with everything I need. I can feel the HCG wearing off slightly, which is unusual. Generally, I'm not hungry for a couple days into P3, but I think my body is telling me "we are DONE".

Yay!! Hey, a pound is a pound!!! You could still come down 2 more and be within your two pound window. I get that way, where my body lets me know its done with the diet. At that point, I'll stabilize, and then I can start the strengthening/shaping/toning I have been avoiding during P2. I have a feeling that is going be where the real mid-section changes are gonna happen for us.

Leez, glad you have a cushion. I was rooting for you to get down at least another pound. Sorry it came a day late!

Welcome to P3 Leez and Jayk!

I came down a bit after that unusual gain, so am right on LIW. What the heck, it is better than over the window.

I had no idea feet could hurt this much! I am hitting the ibuprofen bottle like a LOT. Putting biofreeze cream on the smallest broken toe or it throbs. The two nails that are gone... ache. And itch!!! Ridiculous! Every day will be better, I know, but I don't live in the future. NOW, they hurt!

Amazing also how much this has taken out of me. I am soooo tired. Yesterday, I took a half hour nap and then sat outside in the sunshine for a while, just trying to get back to a better mood, right in the middle of the work afternoon. Everything was frustrating me and making me grumpy.! I always think of the British TV show about a hotel with John Cleese,--Faulty Towers-- where the character Polly would say she was "sooo frus-TRAAAI-ted".

That was me yesterday, just felt like standing in the middle of the room and spinning.

Still not feeling any energy today but should be a lighter day. My gig was supposed to be 45-50 hours a month. I started keeping track of my hours again on May 13th and as of May 22nd, I tracked 51 hours. So basically double of what I thought. I still do not have a contract, either. I HAVE to set boundries. I started today. I send my availability every day first thing, and today, I put 9 to 2, instead of 8 or 9 to 4, which always seem to go to 5:30 or 6. As usual, I am playing last minute catch-up when I get an assignment at end of day that needs to go out FIRST THING next day. Which of course pushes everything I already had scheduled so THEY become last minute.

Never mind. I'm working on it.

    Onward!
