PearlyMae, I soooo feel your pain! I agree, healing is very tiring. I have started rehab exercises for my ankle and knee, and taking both naproxen and ibuprofen at times. The ache is deep in the ankle, but also on the top of the foot. Waaaaah! I'm living in running shoes, barefoot I'm still seriously clumsy.

Are you elevating your feet above your heart? That is supposed to promote healing. I did that for about 2 months, including when sleeping; now just using an ottoman + pillows.

    Some changes coming.....

I've posted some information about a changing of the guard here at the forums. There will be a new HCG provider for the forums, and the site will go back to being totally about HCG.

You can check it out and ask any questions you might have here:
New HCG supplier for the forums

also...P3 for me tomorrow! Maybe I'll eek out another cushion pound by tomorrow morning. But at any rate, bacon and avocado.....here I come. ^_^

Yay bacon and avocado! Two of my favorite things! I hope the added protein yesterday gave your body what it needed to let go of a little more!

I'm down 1.8 today. Was not expecting that but I'm very happy about it.

No extra cushion today, but at least I got to keep that 1 pound loss from yesterday. I don't regret the extra protein. It did help get me through the night.

Planning to go out later for some P3 supplies. I did pretty good on judging my P2 purchases. Will run out of fruit and pre-portioned proteins today but will complete the process with everything I need. I can feel the HCG wearing off slightly, which is unusual. Generally, I'm not hungry for a couple days into P3, but I think my body is telling me "we are DONE".

Just could not overcome that old 138 setpoint even though I hit 140 at day 14. But, maybe I'll get enough reshaping in P3 to be happy with that anyway. Right now, I still have some torso puffiness that should be gone at this weight but is still there.

@jayk, it encourages me that you saw some reshaping later into P3.

    @Pearlie: ouch
Congrats on the lb loss Leez. I am hoping you will see reshaping as well. Normally I don't feel the hunger transitioning to P3, but this last round I was hungry, so that is how I knew I was done as well.
I am glad you made it into the 130's, not quite as low as you would have liked but at least your there.
    Enjoy P3!!!

I feel for you and PearlyMae, I remember the healing after being in a non weight bearing cast for 4 months on my ankle. Even now years later I sometimes get pain there. I too kept my shoes on lol. Felt better plus an ankle support at times.

@PearlyMae, good for you in trying to set some boundaries on your time, I am sure it must be a strain when they send things late expecting it out the next morning.
I loved Fawlty Towers. Haha haven't seen it in years.

I am catching up on things today and yesterday. See what I get accomplished...

Thank you, every buddy, for not only letting me VENT about silly sore feet but even commiserating and giving advice. Especially since nobody told me to Just Suck It UP.

Better today, but no shoes yet. LOL. The best I can do is Crocs since it is the TOP of my toes that hurt the most and I can't take weight on them--even socks are iffy. I need the Crocks to survive small sized pups landing on my toes from being happy jumpy. It has only happened a couple of times but memorable! I woke up in the middle of the night thinking My Feet are Burning! Took more ibuprofen and fell back to sleep as soon as it kicked in. This a.m. so much better. Maybe I dreamed it! LOL.

Hey, Jenny V! AWESOME loss. That is the kind of thing that keeps us all going. Like one good shot in golf, it keeps you coming back!

I am down ... doot doota doooo! Point 2. Hey, it is BELOW LIW, so I will take it! First up those 2 (dang) pounds, now evidently up another one. Can you say CREEP! I have NOT gone off of my almost Keto sort of P3 protocol, but it is creeping. Sigh.

Leez, if you feel good where you are, happy day! If not, take a PI and spin back in for another week to 10 days. It may get that last bit off.

As for not getting the middle flatter-- I ONLY see that at 125! At 128, it gets floofier again. Which is why I fuss so! Last off first on.

I wish DR. S. had published a short "Five Pound Round" for cleaning up those creeping pounds, holiday excesses, mystery gains, last 5, and so on, For less than 5 pounds, who wants to do three weeks of P2 and three weeks of P3 etc? I'd do 10 days combined if I could get 3-5 pounds down. Twice a year!

    Onward!

I'm thinking that is the difference between 138 and 135 for me too.

No time to circle back after a PI this time. I want to be completely done by the time I leave in June.

But I'm ok with it if I can stay here. Super yummy lunch of air fryer sockeye salmon and buttered broccoli. Capped with some fresh rasberries. Loving P3. Looking forward to enjoying my trip while comfortable in my clothes again.

For 3 pounds loss, try Dr Atkins's Fat Fast. Basically just fat & meat - everything 90% or higher fat, for a few days. Such as: hamburger eaten w/o draining the fat; pecans or macadamia nuts; full-fat cheeses. You eat little portions, very filling, about 1000 cals per day, 3 to 5 days, no longer. It works for me.

Leez, right after I posted that, I remembered you were getting ready for a trip. Never mind! Have FUN!

Gig, thank you. Not much different than I eat most of the time now!

And I am up again. I splurged and had half of a yellow sweet potato with a small lean pork chop and some green beans for supper, early around 6. The rest of the day I'd had avocado & cheese toast using my almond flour muffin recipe for the toast, some pecans and a couple of cheddar cheese sticks. So, kinda made myself cook something for dinner. Annnnnd up .6 .

I am going to a wedding in 2.5 weeks. Sorta discouraging to have been down to my happy weight for four or five months and then when I actually am LEAVING THE HOUSE, I am back in the floofy zone again. Better than the 140's I started at. I will keep repeating that to myself.

    On. Ward.

It's water! Here's another self-talk point: Carbs take more water to process, and you can't guess at when the extra water will release.

Your body needs the hormone-feeding nutrients and fiber in the sweet potato Eating one occasionally isn't a bad thing.

Ya, the date is getting closer. I have way too many projects on my list to finish before I leave, so I have to find a way to manage all of that and still enjoy preparing for the trip. P3 going well so far. Still have my cushion after day 1. I always hope to keep it, but even one day is more than usually happens.

    Happy Weekend everyone.

@Leez, true about the water and carbs, same as sodium intake. Glad your P3 is off to a good start. I bet your excited about your trip. Getting closer all the time.

@PearlyMae hoping it all works out for you before the wedding. Try some lemon sips in the mornings.

Went to the mall and met up with my friend which we hadn't gotten together since February 10th. Had some lunch and coffee together. I work tonight so need to get a few more hours sleep in today yet.
I cleaned up a few more boxes, and have some storage shelves, drawers on the way to put stuff I am keeping. Been raining here off and on last week or so. So for walks have to get them in when it's not raining. I made the little Pomeranian run lol, when we got caught in it the other day.

I haven't been keeping up with any toning, but hopefully once I catch up on sorting things out, I can finally get into a routine. Here is hoping lol.
Plus now there is a bit of yard work to be done as well. This yard is not big like my other house, but still needs to be done.

I thought once my daughter and son-in-law lived with me, there would be less, but seems they are always busy too. My son-in-law works doubles a lot, so he doesn't always have free time. Crazy world we live in these days. Everything is so expensive.

My husbands Doctor called and wants to talk to him about a recent test he had. That is on June 3rd. Not sure what to think about that, but I guess we will find out then.

    P4 Month 5

Happy Sunday all, and what fun it is not the end of the weekend in the US! You Canadians had your extra day last week.

Up a bit again today. Sigh. I did not have time for breakfast, thinking I would eat when I got done mowing. Then my family came over--we are furnishing my semi-finished basement so a friend of my nephew moving here from Alabama can have it as a (very!) cheap apartment. My sister went to a charitable thrift store and bought furniture.

It does not have dry wall or flooring except cement, but with sofas, etc. and rugs it is not bad. There is a washer and dryer down there, along with a sink, and I am paying for a toilet to be put in. The windows are above ground and all open for egress. He is a gaming friend of my nephew and his other local friends and they all thought it was cool and helped carry furniture. He will have a microwave and a toaster oven, a fridge, so for a 20 year old kid, not so bad. (We all remember pretty sketchy places we started out in! I remember an apartment with a big grill in the hallway that the heat came out of. You had to jump over it and it was about 3 feet wide.) No walls to divide things yet--hey it's HGTV open concept. We will put curtains around the toilet for now. He can shower in my guest bathroom until I can save up to put one in down there.

So, when they broke out the Chic Fil A chicken tenders, I had two. I pulled some of the breading off of, but admittedly not all. My nephew that I drive had invited me to eat dinner with him at his job, a ritzy restaurant that charges him half price, but he does not get off until 8:30, so I had half a small apple and one stick of cheese. Then he called at 8 and said he decided not to eat there. I had planned on plain wings with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks. There went that idea. I had a few almonds and pecans and called it a day.

    Up point 2.

    Good grief!

I did get a full 8.5 hours of sleep---the tiny dog only woke me up twice to go out---so can get the back mowed today and get some laundry done.

I am considering sort of a steak day today. I have a good sized (not thin cut!) steak waiting and will have a few bites of plain Greek yogurt to keep the hypoglycemic monster at bay. Maybe that will get me down a few ounces.

Everybody is busy and doing well. Keep on keeping on!
