Jenny, you had a big loss a few days ago and all those fat cells that emptied out had to fill up with a little water again. You are still down where you were, it will just take a couple of days for your body to adjust. Meanwhile, you will keep losing! YAY. I cant find Christy's famous graphic that explains water and fat cells right now, but maybe someone else has it handy.

I did not do a great steak day, as I am not very good at the fasting part. I didn't have much or anything I normally should not have, but the little bit of yogurt was a no go. I also tried an Epson salt bath but ran out of hot water so that was kind of a bust. I forgot the baking soda part anyway.

But down Point Six, so at least some of the inflammation is leaving. I may try the bath again tonight, as it was helpful for my poor beat up toes.

LOVE having MONDAY OFF. although I need to check work email as I think there might be a project waiting that won't wait until tomorrow. At least I got the lawns mowed and am on my second load of laundry!

    Onward!

P3 going well so far, even though I no longer have my cushion pound, I'm still at LIW.
I'm enjoying a steak today instead of the traditional dogs and burger fare. Made some mashed cauliflower as my side. Will have some crispy chicken wing leftovers for dinner later.

I love soaking baths. I do one nearly every night with epsom salts, baking soda and some unscented bubble bath just for fun. I consider it my reward for making it through the day. ^_^

Hang in t here, Jenny! Your body is working on it.

Mine, too. I soaked my Angry Toes in an Epson Salt and Baking Soda bath and am amazed at how much better they look today. Just think what that does to a whole body!

Back to hurry hurry wait today. Much of the info I need for a newsletter tomorrow has not shown up yet, even from non-US contributors who were NOT celebrating a holiday yesterday. Oh well. It gets done when I get it done!

Leez, you hit on some of my best meals: plain chicken wings (restaurant fave, as the least off protocol if I'm not having steak) and steak and mashed cauliflower (from my own kitchen). Lunches are often sliced turkey, slice of cheese, smashed avocado topped with a small slice of tomato, wrapped in a tiny zero carb tortilla, with a smear of green chile sour cream, which I can eat at my desk.

So yummy, I might do a repeat today. Although some kind of sammy in a LC tortilla sounds really good too.

Continue to think the best thing about P3 eating is avocado. Seems to elevate everything.

Up a bit, likely from the flax granola that hasn't passed through yet. Flax is very hydrophilic. (that's my self-talk, anyway!)

@Pearlie: glad to hear your toes are better!

Go Jenny, you are overcoming your challenges....one day at a time.

Pearl, I'm glad you're finally on the mend!

Leez, If my experiment fails and I don't see any difference cycling through a PI the next two weeks, avocado/guacamole will be the best consolation prize. I definitely believe it deserves its own food group! Gonna stick with P2 through Thursday, then 2 transition days, then P3 for 2 weeks starting Sunday. Gives me something to look forward to!

Nasal hcg? I've never heard of that before! I've avoided the injections bc I am needle phobic. I started with the drops years ago, but then when the crap hit the fan, the only other alternative for a while was homeopathic. I'd be curious to hear more about it. You are welcome to PM me if talking about it here isn't ok.

First transition day for 2 week PI: up .4. I can tell I'm getting closer to that time of the month. More aches and water retention.

I buy nasal hhcg from InsideOutWellness.net. They recommend you use five inhalations per day and the beauty is, it doesn't go through your digestive system so (like injections) doesn't have to be timed around drinking or meals. However the bottle may run out before 30 days, so I keep a bottle of drops or tablets as a back-up.

Thank you! Can you tell any difference in losses between the different versions? The only reason I have gone with the homeopathic drops the past few rounds is bc we couldn't get the regular drops anymore!

Edited to add: it looks like the nasal spray is homeopathic as well. Still. I'd be curious to hear everyone's experience with it.
