    Where's everybody?

Up .6 today so barely hanging in my window.

Wish there was some kind of short Reset Round for this kind of Creep. 1 day load, 5-7 day P2, 2 day transition, 5-7 P3 and back to P4 with 5 or so pounds back off. Sigh

Hello! Haven't been posting as I've been so busy trying to get my flower farm, in the ground.
Down 13 lbs. No idea what day I'm on.
Just ended a 4 day stall.
Originally started may 3rd, but had to stop due to gall bladder, kidney stuff.
Restarted may 25.. as I look at my notes..
I'm doing the 800 cal keto version
. It's working quite well. Happy with my progress.
Glad everyone is is doing so well!!

    Pearly, keep on keeping on!!

I wish I lived closer to you, Tanya, I'd come help put your flowers in. I absolutely love doing that. It's the best really hard work I know.

I'm still bouncing up and down at the very tippy top of my window. Up .2 down .2 up .2. Argh. I am hoping to get the appointment to the new doc very soon, got a referral from my current one and they are supposed to put URGENT on it. I continue on a 3/4 dose, but don't know why. I am still just barely normal, but so much better. I am not strong enough to go to pool 5 days a week again yet, and will only make it twice this week...if I go tomorrow. LOL.

Super busy with freelance work. I can't even get my own flower bed in, I'm at the computer all day. Just when one client gives me gobs to do, other clients get the same idea at the same time. Feast or Famine.

    Onward!

There isn't a macros formula for P3. All of those come from other programs that someone has imposed on the original HCG protocol. The protocol instructions are to avoid starches and added sugars. Sugars in whole fruits are fine in P3, and each person has to find out how many fruits a day their body works best with. Starches are all the refined bread/grain products and root vegetables, although some of those root veggies like beets may work for some people. The guidelines are so general that no real formula can be applied to it.

I think that some of the HCG variations recommend 20 carbs or under during P3, possibly 2.0? Some that do that version may have more information on that for you.

Sorry there is no simple answer. The real challenge in P3 is much more intuitive--to learn to eat enough of the right choices for your body's needs without trying to force it into someone else's pattern. That takes experimentation and work. In my own experience, I didn't learn it right away or easily, but gradually over a number of rounds. I found that my body needs healthy carbs, so 4-5 fruits a day are not too many in P3, and I was able to use moderate amounts of sprouted grain, fresh corn, and plantain chips and successfully stabilize. Someone else might find they do better sticking to just some berries and only the lowest glycemic veggies. One person might find they stabilize best on lots of fats, another might find they do better with leaner meals and more protein.

Staying round 30 g net carbs is 2.0, or at least that is the suggestion. As Leez says, depends on what the carbs are and each person has different needs. I get more than 30 when I eat nuts, but rarely see gains from nuts. I avoid bread, pasta, potatoes, etc. but can do berries just fine. In the past, I'd add apples, but not lately. Lots of people avoid dairy, as it does have 'sugar' but it is the natural sugar from milk and I don't think they are any worse than the sugar in a berry. At least not for me. Once I get past P3, I know what works for me, and I only start to gain when I start sneaking in sweet treats. That kills me everytime. BUt if not that, something else!..... P

You can make cheese lace. Heat up a non-stick skillet on high. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese just enough to lightly cover the bottom of the pan. Cook until cheese melts. At a certain point, you can sop up the oil that is released with a paper towel without sticking to the cheese. Once the oil has been removed, let it get brown, then remove it to a paper plate. It will get crispy as it cools.

You can buy seed crackers. Check ingredients for starches or added sugar. Flackers are just flaxseeds and seasonings.

https://www.wholesomeyum.com/recipes/paleo-crackers/ If you are up to making some...just almond flour, egg and salt. You may be able to find a bought version without starches, but most I've seen have tapioca starch in them.

Try making your chicken breast into chicken salad. I love that paired with the plantain crackers.

Will just be lurking till I start round in July. First time getting on since May middle maybe. Got back from San Diego Thursday. All my cousins visiting at same time. My second cousin took time off work and was unofficial tour guide. He works at Naval yard Point Loma. He is a foodie so went to many ethnic restaurants. Needless to say I ate well . As a side note we walked down the rocks and sand to the Tide Pools . Walking back up the steep hill my grandson and cousin were astounded that I was able to climb at my age. Lol. I said I am 80 but not dead.

Has your interruption been long enough? The minimum time is 4 days, not counting the days to transition off to it.

Good Sunday morning, Lovelies - I survived the trek to Utah!

I flew out to Ogden in mid April, found a home, sold my home in Michigan, and started packing. Even so, there was the usual scramble to finish packing. I rented a 26' UHaul plus a car trailer. We loaded up June 4th with UHaul "Moving Help", which I highly recommend. Then we got on the road on Monday, 6/5. It was four solid days of driving, 1650 miles. Fortunately the cats did quite well, though it was a struggle to keep them from disappearing into hidey-holes in the motel rooms. We got delayed in Grand Island, NE because the car my friend was driving showed a "Check Engine" light. We were fortunate to find a great repair shop, and were only delayed about 3 hours. We unloaded 6/9, turned the truck and trailer in. My friend had a 5:30 am flight back to Florida so we left at 3 am (shudder!) and of course his flight was delayed; but he's home now. I got the kitchen unpacked, my bed set up, and finally got a full night's sleep. Now I'm relaxing with hot coffee, both kitties, and mountains of boxes.

Looks like you need to wait one more day. So you can start back to finish your round on Tuesday. I hope it gives you a good reset and you do better this time.

One question, are you activating your drops before taking them? I think its called percussing, or something like that. I don't pretend to understand homeopathy, but I think tapping the drops before you take them is supposed to activate the frequencies in the drops.

I really don't have a clue what to tell you, slimshady. Without doing the skip day, we really don't know if you are too high or too low, so you are basically doing an experiment. And I don't have experience with advising someone using hhcg drops less than 3 dosing times a day.

Grammy may have some wisdom for you. If anyone can give you some guidance on this, she would be the one.

I would venture to say that I was not hungry on skipping. I didn't over-eat or have difficulty doing things the same.
Resolution of hunger on the evening of the skip day (homeopathic) indicates dose needs to be lowered. That you are always hungry in the evening indicates that your dose is building up during the day to a level that is causing hunger. When you resume your round with a lowered dose, you should be able to see a change. In a general sense, morning hunger (before dosing) can indicate dose is too low. Evening hunger and hunger right after eating can indicate dose is too high, but those are only clues. The skip day is the most reliable diagnostic.

Maca could indeed confuse things as it affects hormones, and this is a hormonal protocol. It would make sense to hold off on the maca until you finish your hhcg. You already have confusion without it.
