PI Day 4 (and period day 2!)-- up .6. Still in range, though definitely feeling a little worse for wear. It'll all level back off in a couple of days, which it always does. In the interim, I may put myself in timeout for a bit. I don't feel great and my attitude kinda stinks.

I often wish I had the self-awareness to put myself in timeout. But I don't usually see then need until way later. ^_^

Hang in there, Jenny. At least you know what to expect with all the period ups and downs.

Deliberately did not weigh today. I don't feel a gain, so that's encouraging. Can't correct again sooner than 4 days anyway. Am just going to truck on with P3 and try to eat mindfully.

Steak day was a success. Down 2 pounds and back in my window, but not quite at LIW. And...bonus.....my steak tasted like a steak.
So glad to hear your steak day was a success. Thanks for the prayers. It's only been a couple days and am hoping the medicine works.

Hey, it is what it is! lol

Back down .3 this morning. Hopefully that means the worst of it has passed and it will be better from here on. Gonna ride it out til this weekend and then hop back on P2 for 2-3 more weeks (depending on how many drops I have left).

    Prayers your way, Jayk.

    Everyone is hanging in! Congrats!

Me, doing nuthin' wrong, still getting punished. Up yesterday for no good reason and again today. Seems like I shoulda just had the cheesecake. SOOO many things I did NOT eat and still I am UP. Sigh. So much for my wiggle room for traveling. I still have one week before we leave, so will just push on. I'm not out of my window yet, but fluctuations are larger. I was frustrated at up and down .2 and .4 but .8 at a time is brutal.

    Taking a breath.

Onward all. Love coming here and seeing all my friends!

Thank you PearlyMae and we love reading your posts.

That can be frustrating for sure. I would be the same and wish I had ate the Cheesecake too lol.
Just take that deep breathe and move on. It's all you can do, when like you say you haven't done anything out of the ordinary
Hoping you get back to your window.

I haven't done much today. Slept in a bit as I was up late. Back to a 5 day stretch tomorrow.

@rose... that's great your staying near LIW

    p4 147.2. hanging in there

for some reason even whenever i check “remember me” i have to log back in each time i want to post on hcg. very frustrating. like posting and having app delete half your words. years ago this app worked fine. not great now. i’m still posting for accountability sometimes i weigh daily and other times skip a couple of days. my food input is pretty consistent so glad to keep going without stressing over it

Hopefully when the new update happens, it will be all shiny and new (and work!) again. I was originally on the message boards way back when. But my username was lost in one of the updates, so I had to start over fresh in 2020 when I came back. I can't post from my phone (I don't even use the app!) bc it cuts my messages off. I'm looking forward to the upgrade! I know it's frustrating, but I look forward to seeing all of the posts you ladies put up. It helps me feel less alone in this.

Back down 1.1 today, finally. I knew once the hormones started calming back down, the water would start vacating. Feeling a little less drained and irritable today, too.

Glad your hanging in there Rose

Good job Jenny on the big drop. At least you knew it would happen and what too expect

I had a good day today, just tired though. I think not enough sleep. Having my green drink now, then will eat soon

The weather was great today. So nice having sunshine.

Not much else going on at this moment. I think the medication is working for my husband, but will know for sure into Next week.

    P4 Month 6

I'm getting ready to mow before it either gets too hot or rains. That's Colorado Summer for you. Our spring is only a week or two long but strung out over March, April and May a day here and a day there. And then poof. Summer.

I look forward to the NON-SNOW part of the year and it goes fast, so will try to be mindful about getting outside! I grew up in Iowa where Spring starts in March with daffodils, through Mothers Day when the iris bloom, and I lived 25 years in New Mexico where we could start playing golf in February... so these miserly spring times in the Rockies always disappoint me!

After being Up UP for a few days, now I am down down a leeetle bit the past two. Under my LIW today by a whopping point 2. Still thinking about that cheesecake.... never mind. But I can't say the cream cheese mints at the wedding are going to be safe from me. Love those little suckers.

I have a young man, who is a friend of one of my nephews, moving into my basement early next week. He is moving from the deep south and if I am disappointed by the weather, he is going to have a heart attack at the inflation and costs of everything here. Which is why he gets my basement which is only partly finished, at a very cheap rate, (basically just helping with utilities) at least until he gets on his feet and gets a job. I don't have a separate entrance and he will have to use the shower in my guest bathroom upstairs, so it feels a little like a home invasion. It isn't that I don't want him here, it's just a change. I live quietly alone with little dogs and now someone will be coming and going and it is different. Nobody likes different!

But a shower in the basement and a back entrance are on my list of next things to do!

    Onward. Must MOW. Time's a-wasting.
