    P4 Month 6

So many good ideas. I work from home, so made myself stick a pan of chicken thighs in the oven yesterday when I made myself lunch. Set a timer (or it would have burned the house down as when I am IN the computer, I lose awareness of time!). Now I have protein for several easy dinners, and will look for other ways I can use that time.

I often don't realize it is lunch time until my hands start to shake at around 3pm, lol, so am trying to take time during the traditional lunch hour to take a break and make food. Yesterday I cooked up a hamburger patty and made my almond flour toast slice and used it as a bun. The hamburger was terrible tough--it was a tenderized some kind of steak and had been in the freezer too long, so ended up with a cheese sandwich, but it was good! I need to stop by and get a cucumber or two and fresh tomatoes as I am pretty much out of veggies. Getting ready to travel, I'm trying to eat the fridge clean.

    Learning curve continues!

I was down yesterday to a pound under LIW but didn't post, so up today .6. Dang.
Still (barely) under LIW so what can I say?

    ONWARD.

Ah under LIW. An elusive dream for me!

2 more days of P3 and I've finally gotten some reshaping. Enough that the jeans that buttoned snug at the start of P3 now button comfortably. I think I'll wear them on the planes. Not bad for being 3 pounds heavier now.

Didn't try to push any P3 boundaries this time. It was fine. I enjoyed everything I ate.

It's warm and beautiful in the midwest, with spring like breezes and clear sunny days, and I'm finally starting to think salads sound good again.

The reshaping and fitting into my clothes always makes me feel better, no matter what blasphemous lies the scale is telling!

Down 1.3 this morning. Good start to a good day. The heat is supposed to turn way up here by the weekend, so I need to get out and get some work done around the property and in the garden before it gets too unbearable to outside to do it. Always so much to do! Also need to help my dad get the big chicken lot re-sanded and repaired since we have another round of baby buffs hatching in about a week and a half! Still have to figure out what to do with the last round that hatched in the beginning of April!

Welcome back Xexymess. Sorry for all your troubles. But we all know things happen in life, and here we are again. We are here for you even if you lurk. I wish you great success on this journey

@PearlyMae, chicken thighs sound good. I have to set timers as well, as I get involved in other things and lose track of time.

@Leez, glad you enjoyed P3 and that your jeans fit well now.

Everyone else Hello and hope all is well.

I am on a day off, shopping to do, and laundry to do. A big Water mainline struck a hole here in Calgary, and people have been asked to reduce water usage until it's fixed. It happened last Thursday or Friday.

Lawn needs mowing etc. See what I get done .

I bought a new book called Reversing Alzheimer's by Dr. Sandison. I had seen an interview with her before the book released yesterday. A lot of her treatment and help have to do with following the Keto diet which I try to stay close with among other things which I will find out as I read it. I never want Alzheimer's or Dementia so thought it would be a good read. So hopefully get some reading in today.

    Hot here, too!

I am headed to the Midwest tonight and it looks like 90's and some rain storms. That means packing clothes for hot days and then sweaters for when the temps drop when the clouds roll in. In other words, everything.

I was down a surprising pound yesterday but waited to see if it held before posting. Whew. I have a little leeway for the trip, under LIW by 1.4. I am thrilled!

    Onward every buddy!
    See you next week!

Yes, the midwest is HOT. 95 here right now. I need to get one more grass cutting in...looks like that will have to be tomorrow morning. Not going to try to do it this evening. What a sauna.

Safe travels PearlyMae, and congrats on the drop below LIW. It may have took you some time but you did it. Woohoo

Hope you have a great time!!

Wow your temperatures. We have had around 80F but that's it. Then it drops when it rains.

Had to go get drops put in my eyes so they could take pictures behind my eye. I guess my pupils are small and wouldn't dilate. All is good though, but boy it took awhile to be able to be out in the sunshine. Seemed so bright and I couldn't see for awhile. Indoors was okay though.

@rose... It happens. You will get there again. You have done well
