Morning glories! Still under the weather but determined to finish my entire round. Couple more days of drops left and then I'm done with this part! Down .2 this morning. Chipping away at an iceberg with a spoon, but I'll get there eventually! Hope you all are having a good week so far!

    Hello Ladies

I agree with Rose, Jenny you have hung in there a long time. Congrats to you. Your determined and that is great with all what you have going on as well.

I am doing good. I totally agree about the creep, never want that again.

I got here again and want to keep it that way this time.

I have a couple days off, so hopefully this time I get done what I wanted done last days off, that never happened. So will see

I feel like I have hit the wall. Today is day 45 I think? It feels so much longer bc of the PI in the middle. I'm really just finishing out the drops now to see it through. I stayed the same this morning, holding steady at 182.7. I also didn't sleep last night, which likely had something to do with it. Or something else affected both. Either way. I also hadn't really thought about it, but I should get out my old notebooks to see if where I am was close to a set point. That could very well be part of why I'm not really budging but a tiny bit at a time now. Or my body is just done with it for now, which could also be true. Just trying to hold onto something positive so that I stay the course a couple more days.

That creep is what I am fighting to lose now, and I need to figure out how to keep it from happening after I get back down. This past few years have just been ugh. How do I disconnect my weight from stress/emotions? Or... how do I manage all the stress/emotions so that they don't affect my weight (and everything else)? That's probably the big question.

p4 147.8. finally down today slightly below liw but below. only thing different yesterday is that i ate oatmeal for breakfast instead of bacon and my calorie count was about 400 cal less. maybe i dropped some fluid. either way it feels good to be under liw rather than over.

    P4 Month 6

Jenny, that is the question, isn't it? How to disconnect emotions / eating habits. NOT EASY.

I have had a bad, bad eye infection, painful, can't see, going to the eye dr every day for progress reports and I feel PUT UPON.

It took everything I had to drive BY Starbucks and not get a mocha latte because even if I got a sugar free one or just an Americano, I knew I would sit there in line looking at the GOODIES on the menu board and by the time I ordered, I would be paying for three or four! And they would be GONE by the time I got home and I only live six blocks away. (And yes, I am driving with one eye. Don't ask.)

I am up a pound, but my eye feels like it weighs as LEAST 10 pounds, so doing well. Still, I feel picked on and crabby. I really want donuts. grumblerumblegrumblegrrrrr.

I can't catch a break! I'm about ready to see if I can quit working, get Medicaid and have my family put me in a nursing home. Sit by the window and feel sorry for myself. Stupid toes are better, rested up from the trip and I had TWO days of feeling normal before the eye thing. Nobody can even figure out what caused it, but I'm on antibiotics, steroids and 4 ibuprofen alternating with Tylenol 4 times a day. They can't figure out if my eye got a sinus infection or my sinuses got an eye infection. Give me a BREAK!

    Get thee behind me, Satan!

I have to stay on protocol because I am too grumpy to go to the store and I have NOTHING to eat off protocol.

    Onward!
    grumblerumblegrumblegrrrrr.

I know. I am an inspiration. haahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahha

PearlyMae, that sounds awful! I got an eye infection once when a flying insect bounced off my contact lens! That one started as a bacterial infection, but my doctor switched me from antibiotics drops to steroid drops after a few days.

I hope it heals up quickly!

Actually, Pearl, you are an inspiration!! You are real and relatable!

And apparently it was in the water yesterday. I had a full on cheat day... grumpy/sick combined with being hungry and needing to grocery shop. Know what my cheat foods of choice were? Oatmeal with raisins and pecans and some homemade pepperoni pizza. I didn't even eat any chocolate or anything dessert-y! I just wanted to feel full. And it worked. Know what else? I had no change on the scale this morning, and I have zero guilt about it. Probably my last day of drops (46 days), and I'm glad I did it while still on them instead of next week. I slept better last night, my attitude is much better today, and I'm ready to get back to work!

p4 146.6 So today 2 lbs under LIW Similar calories and again oatmeal for breakfast so doing more p4 not p3. seems to help as my calorie count was higher using p3 and causing creeps. maybe less sodium (not purposefully) i ended p2 on March 22 and april 12 was end of P3 but stayed on it longer than 3 weeks and ate more p4 since april 24. after climbing beyond liw albeit just a bit i was concerned about stabilizing before mid July when i may do a short second round. today was a good day.

    P4 Month 6 almost over

Thank you, Gig, Jenny. I am getting there. I am mad about something else today, but will spare you! LOL.

Jenny, sometimes you just gotta eat something. You are not supposed to be hungry on P2, and I am supposed to eat enough on P4 that I don't get that way, but there are TIMES. Combine hunger with emotion and, well. Perfect storm.

You made the best choices you could. I wanted to go get a steak for last night as I was craving protein. But. I did not want to go anywhere or cook, so that complicates it a little. I just made cheese crisps and snacked on those and called it good!

    On-%&*#$- ward,
    P
