Morning! Okay, this has got to stop! I cannot keep allowing my weigh ins to dictate my mood for the day. I am down 1.8 this morning, to 169, which is the lowest I've been in a loooong time. However, I know that this is week 2, and therefore, tomorrow I may be up again.

For those that have gained....bummer. But I really believe that this week is "up and down week."

    For the rest...keep plugging!

I'm so glad I didn't cave and have a fruit tart yesterday....
    Round 1: 198 to 176
    Round 2: 176 to 165
    Round 3: 168 to 154
    Round 4: 155 to 142
    Round 5: 159 to 148

    Round 6: 166.4 to 144. Now in P3.

Determined to get back into my summer clothes, which seem to have shrunk!

Eta, they fit! Now I want them baggy.

I soooo relate. I am finishig my round, down 21 pounds. Love my weight but dropped a couple more pounds to my lowest adult weight. Then the yoyo thing started to happen, up 1, then another pound. Didn't do anything different that I can see to cause this. I think the body is trying to hang on to the previous old set point in my body. It messed with my head. I can't believe how my mood is tied to my weight. I even felt fat and my perception started to change.

Woke up today after 4 days of this and finally dropped a pound. But have low expectations of what is to follow. I am trying to get into some acceptance.

I've been struggling with wanting to eat all day. Not the physical hunger, more of the craving hunger. It didn't help that the dining hall at my training site was serving about six different things that I love. Booooo. I had my beef and celery pot roast.....and I chewed that cooked celery for all it was worth. Then, at an afternoon meeting someone brought 2 boxes of chocolate truffles. Everyone wsa crinkling wrappers and choosing to try different flavors. Waaaaa. I thought the holiday feasting was over, sob!. I caved and had a piece of sf cinnamon gum, then I just had my afternoon fruit, which I usually eat on my way home at 5pm. I've been drinking lots of water and tea. Just a few more deep breaths and another 2 hours and then I can go home and "pig out" on a cucumber or something crunchy.

In the meantime, I started writing a list of the foods that I'm craving. Most of them are pure carbs and full of wheat which I try to stay away from.....should I be surprised that I'm NOT craving apples or lettuce? Cantalope is on the list though, as are cheeses. I am trying hard to remember that the enjoyment ends quickly and that y body is happy being slimmer....but boy what I would do to have a honey mustard turkey & cheddar wrap AND keep my weight!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! It sounds like you all are doing great! I sooo miss losing!!!! : ) I am finally in Georgia, but don't move into our own house until the middle of February. I haven't weighed myself in like a month...no scales to use while visiting family/in transition. I bought a new set of scales yesterday but I am scared! I guess I will hop back on tomorrow! : ( Oh well, whatever it is at least I know how to pick back up now, right? I am trying to decide if I should try to do P2 while we are waiting for our own house or just wait until we get our belongings....etc. I think I will at least get back to some P3 eating if not because I can tell I have gained...still fitting the 14's, but I bet the couple of 12 would be screaming if I tried them! Lol!!!! Anyway, happy to be able to catch up with the thread and hope to be joining you all again soon! Congrats to all!

hey girls....so I kinda "disappeared" for awhile...been struggling and not doing so great in the ol' weight GAIN department. I'm looking to try the pellets...can you share your source and cost for the pellets (if you like them)? The sooner the better...I'm ready to start the 15th as my six weeks will be officially over by then...

Hey! The prodigals have returned! Welcome back Janet and Jade!

Janet: I guess you have to know yourself whether you can maintain until your settled, or if you should start P2 now. I was impatient to start again, since I have family coming in February and I wanted to wow them!

    Jade: Can't help you, sorry.

Diny: Argh. If only they knew what torture they are putting you through! Good for you for staying strong! I actually have a huge stash of Russel Stover sugar free chocolates and Chocolite chocolates, as well as malitol gum set aside for times like these. Though I don't limit myself to times like these...oh well, I'm still losing!

Hey, welcome back Janet and Jade!!!!! We've missed you!

Janet, I'd vote for starting P2 when you FEEL it will be right. The most important thing is having your head in the right place, I think. So if that means you go for it without a full kitchen and stick to a George Foreman for every meal, that's great. If you feel like it's going to be too big a burden without being settled, than by all means wait!!! P2 food is realllllly easy to make, and a little can go a long way. But moving into your home will probably be a strenuous and exhausting task, and you might want to be able to eat during the process!!!

Jade, I got my pellets at ultimatehcg.com, they were about $50, which is a lot more than they were when they first came out....price gougers! I did not love them and switched back to injections actually. I read so many positive reviews and maybe my dose was too low or I just wasn't responsive....IDK, I was thinking about food all the time and never really felt like I was on HCG. Maybe someone else has a more positive experience to share. I liked the drops a lot and if you have good drops you might want to stick to those.

I actually came online to confess, I overdid it at dinner. Or, to be more exact, I ate another small meal after dinner. I was hungrier than usual today and after eating beef and celery pot roast for dinner, I had another oz of ground beef (I was cooking a batch of burgers and there was a clump of beef left after I weighed the portions so I cooked it and ate it) and a serving of sourkraut. And a diet root beer. There, I admitted it all. I'm thinking that it's possible that I won't actually gain weight, (the protein was the same as dinner, it was only an oz, the sourkraut has like 25 calories, etc etc etc) but I'm also being realistic, taking accountability, and preparing to be right back up again in the morning.

Here's hoping I do better tomorrow, and remembering that I'm doing a great job even today!

LOL @ "the prodigals have returned!" That was cute!
Okay so pellets aren't so great? Anyone on here have success with them? I really liked the drops I was using...but my lady charges $40 a bottle and the bottle lasts 12-14 days. I don't want to spend another $160 if I don't *have* to, kwim? Frugal in the new year (rather trying to catch up with all those darn bills from the end of last year!).
Also......anyone else noticing hair loss? I was losing hair long before I started HCG...but I noticed it's still coming out quite a bit. I have fine hair as it is and it makes me nervous. Does anyone take biotin or is there anything you recommend? My nails have been great...I constantly amazed at how well they've kept up and how often I have to clip them back. But my hair...oh my poor hair.

Glad you're back. Go for it!

Jade: Regarding the pellets, I got mine from Legacy Health group for like $60, though I don't start until Friday. The distributor is very nice and helpful and is doing the pellets herself. I can let you know how I do with them. Not looking forward to having to dose more than once a day, though.

Up a bit today, 1.2 over LIW. No particular reason except for maybe the wheat bread I ate or the mug cake last night.

Doing a steak day today because I really don't feel like eating. Trying to hit my mini goal of being under LIW for the beginning of R1.

Thanks for the welcome back all! : ) I am going to play it by ear for a few more days and see what the damage is and how much I can correct it without going into P2 yet. I really want to, but as was already said, I want to make sure I can stick with it and be successful - "head in the game". I think it is doable where I am staying right now so if I decide to start it will probably be Monday.

As for the pellets....I loved them! I got mine through HCG.com also. I did increase the dose from what they said and then it seemed to be just fine for me. I think I really just like the convenience and the feeling that I am ingesting all the hcg where I always wondered with the drops. I was further into R1 when I switched to them so maybe that helped with the food obsession that diny found? I don't know, but I am going to start this next round with them also.

Hair loss....I didn't notice anything more during P2, but after P3....yup! Kinda worried me too but I think it has gone back down to normal now...could be cuz I have been eating like crap cuz of other people's cooking!! : ( I am so happy to be in control of my own food again!!!! Hope everyone has another great day! : )

Oh, by the way...."the prodigals have returned"...love it!!! : ) Thanks for the smile!
