Glad to hear so many are doing great. I've decided to change my goal to 121. I am so not happy with my legs yet. When I find pants that fit in the waist, the legs are still too tight.

I'm ready to stop this round so it looks like there is another round in my near future. I've decided to cycle P2 P3 then back to P2 to lose the rest. This round 2 was very hard losing weight. I've read that the losses pick up really good in Round 3 so I'll set my sights there.

rchicks4004 go with the new lower number. When I bought my scale that reads body water, muscle and fat, it weights .6 heavier every time. I wish mine was a pound lower instead...

handtalker hang in there. I know the feeling. I've been bouncing around +/- .2 since Sunday. Tonight I'm going to do some Smooth Move since it's needed and see if that makes a difference. How long are you planning on doing P2? I'll be stopping anyday now. Just haven't decided when.

dinyone what? 6 days??? You can do it. And if you don't, you know while in P3 you'll keep asking yourself why you didn't stick it out. Well, that's how I am at least. Just keep telling yourself, "One more day" and it will be over before you know it.

jade999a I tried cycling and it really hit the spot. It gave me a mental break from low calories when I really needed one. It's nice because it really puts losing weight into prospective. Well, at least that's what it did for me.

I'm *this close* to throwing in the towel! I can't freakin' do this anymore!!! ARGHHHHHHHHH
I started off well today...strawberries and my normal chicken salad for lunch. But then I was making dinner for the fam and was already stressed out from today's school day...and NEEDED chocolate (I also NEED chocolate the week before I start TOM).
I had a mini Snickers and 2 mini butterfingers. They are so stinkin' tiny I have a REALLY hard time believing they each have 55 calories! WTH?!?!

So then hubby got home and I told him I was just gonna skip dinner and eat chocolate. So I had 2 FUN SIZE butterfingers (80 cals each). And then of course I couldn't resist the dinner they were eating...so I had some chili (NOT protocol chili...chili with red beans and black beans and corn...oh delicious CORN!). Oh my gosh it was so good.

Soooo.....needless to say....I SUCK. I SUCK. I SUCK. I'm tempted to NOT take the drops tonight and stop taking them all together and just give this up right now before I do any more damage. I'm drinking smooth moves tea in hopes of a BM tonight or tomorrow morning (haven't gone since Saturday morning). That might clear out some of the stuff I just ate if it works fast enough...

But if I see a gain on the scale tomorrow...I'm done. Just done. If I see a decent loss...well, I dunno what I'll do. I'm ready to scream though. I keep feeling like I should do some exercise or something tonight....but what the heck is the point.
    Load day 1: 177.4 (pre-load)
    Week 1 loss: -6.2 lbs
    VLCD 10: 171.0 (-0.2)

Awww, Jade and HT, I'm so sorry you are struggling. Don't let this diet, or your scale, define you. We all have our ups, downs, strength, weaknesses. Be compassionate with yourself. I hated myself and poor resolve when I had cheats, and I had to work hard to remember that I'm a complex human with all kinds of motivators, and sometimes chocolate is more appealing than smaller pants. Seriously, who wants to get a big box of pants vs. a big box of chocolate? Chocolate is God's way of thanking us for enduring life on Earth.

HT, idk why you had the gain, and losing such a small amount after so much restraint seems unrewarding, but try to hang in for the length you had planned. I swear I lost inches while I went three weeks with out losing more than 2lbs, and then it all came off suddenly. Your body is using something for fuel, and with your menu, it has got to be some of your stored fat!

I've made up my mind for sure...(and just enjoyed a slice of whole grain bread with nutella and bananas to cement it!)...I'm DONE. I'm not taking my drops tonight...and I'm sure I'll pay for this little bingefest tomorrow and the next day, but whatever. I already feel a million times better mentally that I've just decided to FORGEDDABOUT IT. Maybe in a couple of months...I'll be back. I just cannot handle it this round and I'm only just over a week in, ya know?
Gonna break out some of the Wii fitness games I got for Christmas and have some fun! )

Oh Jade! {{{hugs}}} I can sooo feel your pain. I was there a few days ago. However, I was on day 20, so it was easier to stick it out. And then I started losing more and decided to extend P2. Can you spell i-n-s-a-n-e? Try taking a detox bath tonight. I swear those help when you've cheated...

So I bought 2 pairs of jeans today, but didn't have time to try them on in store. One is Tommy Hilfer, the other DKNY, both in size 10. Well, I tried them on at home, thinking I wouldn't be able to squeeze into either, and the Tommy jeans fit!!! The DKNY ones made it to mid-thigh. I always thought that Tommy jeans fit tight, but apparently not as tight as DKNY! Though the DKNY jeans were sknny jeans...which are not figure-friendly to me.

So explain to me, how my friend who is 2 inches taller than I, can only be 4 pounds more and look WAAAAAY bigger. Am I fooling myself? Can't be, since when I ask people to guess how much I weigh, they inevitably guess about 15-20 pounds lighter...and they're not just being nice. I guess I find that a bit frustrating, since I'd like to be able to tell people how much I weigh without them passing out!
    Round 1: 198 to 176
    Round 2: 176 to 165
    Round 3: 168 to 154
    Round 4: 155 to 142
    Round 5: 159 to 148

    Round 6: 166.4 to 144. Now in P3.

Determined to get back into my summer clothes, which seem to have shrunk!

Eta, they fit! Now I want them baggy.

Yay for jeans that fit. Boo for skinny jeans. My family genes have never helped me there! I swear, I could be on HCG for years and still not rock those!! I've always found Tommy jeans to be a bit more forgiving than other brands.

Jade. It's your choice. I've been there and it sucks. I had a bad cheat one day on my third week last round and I basically said F it, and ate so much one night. Next day I gained a few and thought I'd quit. Then something clicked and I decided that I only had 10 days and I had to stick it out or forget it. Anyway lost another 7 pounds. I think the cheat got it out of my system. So think about what would happen if you got back on the wagon for just 10 more days?

AFM, no loss today, but I'm cool. I'm below LIW and have lost 12 pounds in 9 days, so I had to stop at one point. Sticking to it and staying busy is about the only thing I can do. Just not sure of my stop date yet.

Laura, that is awesome! That is such a great milestone. I've been looking at what it will take for me to "just" be overweight. It's about 15-20 pounds away, so maybe next round. I will be so excited when I do get there, though. What a great feeling for you. Watch out...I'll be there soon.

I stayed the same today, after my big 2 lb loss yesterday. I also decided today to end next week. I had lofty thoughts of going 35+ days, but I think I'll stop at 25 days and do 3 weeks of P3 and then go back into P2 for 23 more days. I haven't cycled before, but did take a planned break on round 2 without good results. I have a big vacation in May and would like to have as many P2 days before as possible. We'll see what next week brings.

Look at you, recovering from your cheat and rocking it....awesome. I feel so much pressure with 13 to go. Not sure why, but at least it helps keep me focused! Just keeping it simple and keeping going. Stupid husband planned a get together with friends next weekend. Will have to skip the beer and pizza and just hang out...every time I cheat with beer it messes me up. If I do cheat, then I'll have to go that much longer....grrr....

Down .8 today -- so I lost what I had gained yesterday -- starting to get bored with chicken -- gotta find some new recipes -- I only have about 7 or 8 days to go on this P2 round -- I'm stopping next Thursday or Friday and going into P3 -- but I'm really getting tired of chicken this time -- more so than the first round and I ate chicken probably EVERY day for lunch in R1! Hope everyone has great weigh-ins today and those that have been stalled or gaining break their stalls and go the other way -- DOWN!! Happy Hump Day everyone!!

I have officially decided to be done right now. I couldn't feel any happier about that decision. I weigh 171.0 today...my smooth moves worked enough last night so there was no immediate gain. I enjoyed a bowl of chocolate chex cereal for breakfast (no milk, LOL). I'm gonna go back to eating a normal balanced diet where I'm not deprived of things I like (cuz then I just binge) and exercise. My in-laws got us a year gym membership for Christmas and I'm gonna start using it (tonight!). Before doing HCG I was using this method to lose weight and it really does work...albeit, not quite as fast, but in the end, it all averages out. If you do HCG for a 40 day course and then include all the six weeks of maintenance...you're losing about as much weight as you could if you just ate healthy and exercised for three months (losing 8-10 lbs a month). Well, the theory holds for *me* at least...I know it's easier said than done. But maybe if I can lose another 15 lbs or so on my own through this method, I'll be ready to start HCG again in the spring or something. All I know is I can't do the deprivation thing right now. I am dumbfounded why I was so motivated and ready to go in October...but am totally not with it this round.

Keep up the great losing girls!!! You all inspire me!! This diet is definitely NOT for wimps!!

Jade- you sound like you're in a good place...I hope you stabilize great and have good results from the gym. I lost over 60 lbs after my last pregnancy by counting calories and exercise....it just took a while. I'm thinking after this round (through P4) I will work on losing that way again.

down 0.6 this morning...not sure if that's cause of the new scale or a real loss but I'm just going with it....11 more pounds to reach goal and I'm 11 days from my 30 day goal...probably will have to go a little longer but I'll see how the losses are going when I get there. I'm ready for my body to feel like I'm losing...I'm 8 lbs below my LIW from round 1 but I don't feel smaller. I'm hoping another 10-11 pounds will make a difference in my clothes and what I see in the mirror.
