Thread: Anyone Loading on October 16th and 17th

  1. #4765
    Hi Jami,
I started loading on the 16th and today I ate as much as I could and feel so stuffed! I'm ready to start P2 tomorrow. This is my second round and I lost approximately 18 lbs. the first round. I gained 3-4 lbs. within 5 weeks of ending my first round so started back up to lose the additional 15-20 to get down to my desired weight. I'm not on the blog every day but I will check in several times a week to see how we are all doing. I'm determined to make my goal and keep it off this time. Be in touch. Thanks for starting the thread Kat

I am loading today (done actually) and tomorrow. How are you doing? I too have about 15-20 to go to get to goal.

So I start P2 tomorrow and I'm going to follow it to the letter. I'm going to go back to how strict I was on my first round. I really need to lose 10-15 pounds just to have my clothes fit again. I will not buy new clothes in larger sizes. I will not. Thanks in advance for your support. You ladies have been so helpful these past two years. I expect that you will help me through this one as well. Thank you!

Hi Guys, sorry I'm so inconsistent here. I was out of town for a friend's wedding in New England last weekend and also spent time up there at a local fall festival. (Apple pie, pumpkin donuts, and pizza.) Then I was out of town again for a job interview in West Virginia. Long drives are definitely an excuse for me to eat truck stop hot dogs and other junk. Fresh baked cookies at the hotel check-in? Sure! Biscuits and sausage at Cracker Barrel? Of course! The list goes on.
I'm starting to feel like I need over-eaters anonymous more than any food plan. I can plan the food, but can't follow through.
I'm hoping that being home and getting into a routine for a while will make a difference, and if I can break free from the carb cycle for a few weeks I can make better choices overall. I keep thinking that I'll start "Right after..." but in the meantime I'm just gaining and gaining.

In positive news, I have an unofficial job offer! I'll know more in about a week, but I did get an email from a place I had interviewed with about 6 weeks ago saying that they need to get the salary and details from HR, but that they want me for the job. I really really hope that this comes through.

I'm cheering you on, Larisse! I know that you can have a great round and drop a size or more, and I'm hopeful that you will get to a steady place where you can maintain with ease. I'm definitely accepting myself more at 185 now than I did three years ago! Still, I want to have a lighter body, less strain on my knees, and stay that way!!!

Laura, are things getting back to where they were on the scale? I have the assumption that if I just cut out all of the crap/carbs, that I'll immediately lose weight. That's not entirely true, and I've not been entirely consistent, but I'm wondering how long it takes you to turn things around. It seems like you're always slightly up, but then quickly go back down again.

Any newbies, hi, welcome. I have very little advice at this point in my journey, but I can usually find some encouragement or empathy!!!

Good to have you back Diny.

Laura--I was sick earlier this week, but am getting better. I'm on day 6 of P2. I haven't weighed myself since day one, so I have no idea how much loss. I'm trying to focus on fitting better in my clothes and feeling better, lighter, etc. I get really worked up about whether I lost a pound or if the scale is reflecting how good I was. I'm doing pretty good about staying on the plan. My hunger hasn't been bad, but I haven't found that sweet spot that makes P2 so much easier. I seem to need less hcg on these later rounds than I did on earlier rounds.

I'm trying to be more accepting of wherever I am at. I had lost about 70 lbs on this diet and am now down about 35. I don't like how I feel at this weight. And, I never wanted to see these numbers on the scale. Diny-I'm glad that you are finding yourself more accepting. I am definitely much less accepting of my current weight than I was a few years ago at the same weight.
And, keep us posted on the job offer. That is awesome! What will you be doing?

Hey, I'm still chugging along with many good intentions and very few days of follow through. I know what I should be doing, an would probably drop 15 lbs if I just dropped the carbs, and still I can't seem to have my behaviors match my ideas. It would be great to start another round of hcg, but I also don't think I'd follow the protocol well if I can't even keep to low carb with high fat. SIGH. So, yeah, chugging along.

P2 is going fairly well for me this round. I was down 6 lbs in the first week. So far, I've only weighed one time this round. I'm sticking to P2 better than I have in the past 2 rounds. It probably won't be a long round, but I might do another short round before the end of the year. I already feel like I look better. I might not actually look better--no one has made a comment yet--but I feel better and that is good.

I'd love to join in here - I started my first round of HCG Rx Injections on 10/18. Loaded the 18th & 19th, then on to VLCD on 10/20/13. actually stopped Grissini yesterday. Thought it may help with greater losses. Anyone else been POP but cut the Grissini & Melba? I'm also having trouble reaching or getting much over 400 kcal daily. Any concern with that?

I'm a 40yo SW Florida based mother of 3 girls, 13, 17 & 19. Have bounced all the way from 206-131 and all over the place in the past. Was using a steroid lotion on my face for eczema & that kept me at 206 x 6yrs. 2yrs after stopping it, dropped to around 140 over 6 months with no change in eating habit. I've been bouncing between 131 - 175 over the past 2yrs. Have polycystic ovary syndrome, so that doesn't help. I've had a hysterectomy, so no TOM to encounter on my adventure. I'm 5'4" & recently got back on the steroid lotion for my face - realized it pushed me up to 175 & gave it to my husband to hide unless I'm on my knees begging for it.

I'm completely new to HCG, but several people in my office went to a weight loss clinic that did HCG, but with a different protocol. I decided to go it on my own with Simeon's Protocol. I'm not a serial dieter & don't consider this a diet. To me, it's a Protocol that I'm observing for a short while to reduce down to a previous set weight. I hope to reach close to my goal with one round *fingers crossed*. I would be happy with 145, maybe. Guess I'll have to see how I feel after losing during Round 1 before deciding on a 2nd.
