Ugh. Loading. Amazing how I am suddenly NOT HUNGRY as soon as I have to load. I went to the brunch and had egg casserole with potatoes in it, fruit, and baked French toast with syrup. Felt so stuffed, I could barely move.

I went home and napped most of the afternoon, either from those muscle relaxers or sugar crash, not sure which. You know you are in trouble when your dogs bark at you, because you have out-napped them. They were bored! I have two dainty little mini Schnauzer ladies who can nap 32 hours a day, and I napped for so long, they stood in front of the sofa, little tails wagging and BARKED at me. LOL.

I searched the cupboards until I found the microwave popcorn I hide from myself and keep on hand for my sister's kids. Ate that with the last of the butter. I can't say I cared. I had a chicken leg and thigh, grape tomatoes and an avocado ready for dinner and barely touched it. So not hungry. Just hope that is still true in about 2 days.

Up 1.6 so far, but I was down on Saturday a.m. to 133.8, so I have a little room. I made myself eat eggs and avocado for breakfast, but so did not want them!
    This is soooo weird.

I have four more frozen syringes before I need to remix. Four VLCD will tell me if I can lose again, or if it is too soon and I better bag it and come back later.
My hope is that my 3 week "PI" will allow me to lose more than the pound a week I was at when I took this break. But it may not. I still have about 25% of my summer clothes from last year that I can't wear (in public!) so, I am not ready to give up yet.

I'm the same way, PearlyMae! I lose my appetite during the loading phase. Leez calls it HCG's cruel joke, and I agree. I'm allowed to load for 2 days, but then lose my appetite?! Like you, I have to force food down my throat. Even food that I love!

added in sweet potatoes roasted. I am trying to eat less fat when I eat some carbs. So I had chicken breasts over thighs (which are so much better). It was good. I will throw some in my salad today. i also nibbled on a few things a little here and there, nothing more than a bite. Have to always pay attention to the possible second day gain. I am feeling good about p4. I feel good about another round. I put on some jeans that I had not been able wear yesterday and they look great. I think when I lose the next 15-20 they may not fit or maybe they will just be a bit loose which is fine with me also. It is not that hard to eat healthy as long as you do not mind going to the store several times a week to get things. I find that it is hard to keep veggies fresh and sometimes I have no idea what I want. I think I have an open day at work today, so will do looking around for some fun recipes/ideas.
Yay to the sweet potato!!!! Love them! I bake, add butter, cinnamon, and xylitol! Yum! Congrats on sliding on jeans you couldn't wear just yesterday!

And I agree about eating healthy and going grocery shopping frequently. Once I get over my addiction to processed foods, sugar, and carbs, eating healthy is not hard at all. It's just going to the grocery store several times a week that can be a little inconvenient. However, it's something I have to do, because I don't like buying a lot of veggies beforehand just for them to go bad.

I am not sure what is so exciting about loading..I am not a good loader at all. I am going to try to better in the fall. I think that I felt sick in my loading as i saved up my eating for a BBQ and there was not any good food there that I really wanted to indulge in. I never to sugar as I hate the detox and I limit my carbs.

I limit my carbs and sugar too. Try best to eat as much avocado and almonds as possible. Then throw in a fatty Ribeye steak and salmon. Oh... and cocoa crack too.

Hi, everyone. Yes, loading was a chore for me this time as well. My main indulgence was some ice cream, the little individual serving sized Ben & Jerrys. Good, but still have TONS in the freezer.

Stepping into week 2, up .2 this morning which isn't anything really. So, holding to what I've been doing though I didn't have the melba toast this morning. I did drop the fish oil for the remainder, we'll see what happens.

Yup, loading always hurts in a way. Itís definitely a cruel joke. Well, that second day creep got me after my wine and grissini fiasco. It will fall off.
I did add canned green chiliís to my chili by doubt that did it. I know the culprit. I have been walking as much as possible trying to get between 2.5-3 miles a day. I figure itís something. Are clean yesterday and until my PI on the -5th.

I no longer have grissini in the house and wonít do that again.

A friend told me about ďWhite Kidney Bean ExtractĒ that is a carb blocker. Not sure if itís a load of hooey or what but it was recommended by Diet Doc. I think it works better on people who eat carbs, not just the occasional but I may look into it after P3!!

So true, I hate wasting the money on food that goes bad before it's eaten. And - SWEET POTATOES - my absolute favorite now!! I prepare mine just like you, I use Costco's Saigon Cinnamon, it's sooooooo good, has such rich flavor. I've even gotten hubby addicted to them prepared this way.

My go final loading meal is LongHorn steak & salmon with loaded baked potato, extra butter and a huge chocolate stampede cake to go. It definitely has enough good and bad fats!
