To be fair, my first week and a half was a total and complete flop. I wasn't on the right dose and wasn't losing properly. Because of that my average is only 0.466666. But It's more than I was losing before hand If I had lost like I normally do in my first two weeks, I'd be down another 10-12 pounds. That's ok, I'll get there this year.
    3/2/19-192.6
    3/3/19-194.4
    VLCD Week 1 Down 6.6
VLCD Week 2 Down 3, 2 days left in the week
9.6 lbs gone in 12 days. Average of .8/day

*Have done several rounds in the past with success. R1 2019

    I have done both.
I am not sure..I like injections better, it is easier for me. I also think my body etc is so much different as I did drops in 2012 and I am doing injections in 2018.

I eat out at restaurants quite often and find it really is manageable. Here are some things I frequently order: Salad with approved veggies and red wine vinegar, filet mignon (plain, small portion), shrimp cocktail without the cocktail sauce, steamed crab legs (plain), ceviche, steamed spinach (plain).
I tend to avoid ordering chicken at restaurants because it's often marinated beyond my control.
I also keep some "Peoples Choice beef jerky" in my bag when traveling in case I need emergency protein. It's not technically protocol, but the ingredients are good and it's better than eating something very bad in a moment of desperation.
Hey Kar, I just ordered some JayRobb protein samples to try and now ordering the People's Choice beef jerky you mentioned here. Which ones do you recommend? Not sure if they have same ingredients as the others. I need to add some more "go to" options

Got up and had a BM after at least a month of none. Weighed again and was at 175.5. Took a hot bath and dropped again to 175.0. I'm not sure which number to go with at this point as my LIW... wake up number, after BM number or after bath number...
I would probably go with the higher number. If you have a 2 pound window both ways and the lower number ends up being more accurate you will just stabilize under the LIW

Iím up 1.2 today. Ugh. I feel bloated...so could be TOM. Ate both fruits and grissinis yesterday, normally eat one of each...not sure what exactly is going on but just gonna keep plugging along hoping TOM would just get here and leave already and I get a whoosh. Itís still sad to see such a large gain on the scale after being so good.

Have felt so terrible that Iíve practically laid in bed all day. Havenít even drank anything. Got severely dehydrated Monday afternoon so Iím having some painful leg cramps. On top of that I havenít had time of the month and forever because of my IUD and have started that today because of the hCG. I have also not had a BM since the beginning of this diet I donít think at the very least in a month.

So Iím in pain and decide Iím going to take a hot bath. I finally get to go to the bathroom. Have a BM and hopped back on the scale. 175.5.

Today was my LIW. Which number do I count?!?

Kristy, I see you've reached the same conclusion I'd recommend! I'd use the high number, otherwise you might unnecessarily slide into "steak day" territory.

Jessie, I've only tried the "Old Fashioned Original" to play it safe. Let me know if you get adventurous and how you like them!

Thank you. I ordered a pound bag of the old fashioned original and small bag of the hot and spicy one. I'm excited to try something different, I'll let you know how it goes.

mmmm I love beef jerky!! The hot and spicy sounds really good, too.

I spent the afternoon at my new rheumatologist, first appointment. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia last November after having issues for decades - yay. So far, the meds they've given me really haven't had much of an impact. I've been taking Arava since March, today she added plaquenil. It was originally developed to treat malaria but they found a very positive impact on those with RA. I was reading the patient reviews and it seems its either totally fabulous or doesn't work at all (takes several months to reach full benefit). A severe possible side effect is pressure in your eyes, so I'll be getting checked every 6 months for that. It seems the two main side effects experienced are nausea/vomiting/gastro upset and...HAIR LOSS. SEVERE hair loss at that! So, it's a toss up - take the meds and hopefully get some relief from constant pain, swelling, and limitations or just resign myself to getting a nice wig if I do have the severe hair loss. I'm looking down the road, remembering the hair loss I had in previous P3's, and just shake my head. Ironically, I'd already been looking at wigs. I thought it'd be fun to play with a different color or style, hubby thought that was pretty funny. I've been letting mine grow, quit coloring and have 100% hair, grey and all, love it. After my trim a couple weeks ago, it's about shoulder length but definitely starting to thin in the front on top (side effect from other drugs I'm on, too). Oh well, I may not even have the hair loss so will just deal with that when it occurs. I mean, a side effect of my other arthritis med is severe weight loss and well, here I am, so THAT'S obviously not something I experience!

Awww, I'm sorry it happened to you, too! Totally sucks, but it is what it is. Especially when you know you're being good! Just keep at it, the extra poundage will drop in no time.

Going to go catch up on the personals.

P3 can be scary but really I find it quite easy. Here are my tips. The first couple of days increase calories and fat but do not add in too much too fast. I start usually with chicken thighs, larger quantities of meat, olive oil, eggs (for me I never have a problem with them) and lots of veggies. I use oilve oil in big salads and mix a ton of veggies..then after a few days I start to add in other things. I usually add in avocado pretty quickly. I also add in red wine (very dry...alcohol content above 13%) and do not have any problems. Keep an eye out for hidden starches and sugars...you will be good.

I have two more reports to write tonight and submit the time sheet by tomorrow morning to get paid within this pay period. Sometimes I bite off more than I can chew. I am up making the kids coffee and hoping they do well on some tests today, My oldest who is a senior is very smart, tests well on the SAT but also had type 1 diabetes so does not check BG before a test and then will go into something like a math test, no it like the back of his hand..have a bg from breakfast in the 300's and wham an F because he is not thinking clearly. Today he has two tests. trying to have a breakfast that does not spike BG and hoping he will check. UGH kids.

I am so looking forward to this weekend, but that means order my HCG for my next round. I want to have it in time and with the holiday weekend I figure it would be best to have it early. Loadiing day the 14th...I cannot believe the P3/P4 went by so fast. Not looking forward to P2 again, but it is only a few weeks.

Hi everyone! I just ordered Triump 26 day drops, in hopes of losing about 10 pounds. I did NutriMost 4 years ago and have found myself creeping back into my old habits. Do the drops work well?
