Not sure exactly what one would call it smells delicious! I'm not very savvy in the kitchen when it come to flavoring and cooking meats. But I enjoy baking and casseroles.

that's like my dads homemade goulash sauce except with patties instead of ground. I crave that stuff when it gets cool

The "goulash" was quite good. It's the most risky HCG meal I've ever tried so I'm a bit nervous about the scales tomorrow. First time braking the OP no mixing vegetables rule with the onions and canned diced tomatoes, a lot of sodium and 97% ground beef. Hoping chugging a lot of water will help.

It was lovely to read both of your wise and kind words today. I actually took screenshot photos of them and put them in my iPhone HCG note files so I can refer back to them for inspiration.

Y'all have beautiful souls and I appreciate what you do here...thank you ♥️

April great job! Time does fly by when not in P2 lol
Jessie-sounds great. What phase are you in? I start P3 tomorrow.
Rose-we will all forever be a work in process
KristyMac (KM)-Your goal should be to learn how to eat better, and what does and doesn't work for you (you'll find out in P3). Ultimately you want to be healthier. weight loss comes with that. Forget yesterday, good or bad, it's over. You have today, right now. It's what you do in this moment that will be important. I'm proud of you for skipping the meal with co-workers. Far better than cheating. And your results of that skipped meeting is amazing! Do reward yourself. Do make yourself feel the positive effects from this. You're important and you're going to get there, one meal (or skipped meeting) at a time!
Starting new in 2020-somewhere around 190lbs. We will see when I get the meds where I start.

So much amazingness with all the ladies in this group. The inspirational words I think struck a chord with us all.

Down .6, average loss with the PI is .42 so on the low end but I haven't been 100% POP so I am okay with that. I am a mix between original and 2.0 and so I will take me loss and be happy with it

Leave for Dallas tonight (about a 5-6 hour drive on the dreaded I35) then it will be hockey, hockey, hockey all weekend. Lexi has 5 guaranteed games and Xavier has 6 in three short days then we still have to drive back on Monday. Will be a tiring weekend but I love watching my kids in the sports they love.

May check in but I am not as good on the mobile app as the computer, something to be said about the big beautiful screen and ability to multi quote. Have a fantastic weekend.

    Oh I forgot!

None scale victory - I am finding it easier to cross my legs. Something so simple but means so much.

    Good morning!

I so enjoy this group! You're all so wonderfully supportive and encouraging, it really makes a very difficult protocol so much more enjoyable and attainable.

Diesel, WOW, when you say weekend full of hockey, you are not kidding! Good luck to the kiddos, enjoy your hockey mom time with them

I'm down only .2#, but it's way better than being back up like I thought I would be. Doing the whole up and down thing is so mentally taxing. Six more days to LIW, am imagining still being locked in at this weight and getting pretty cranky about it. But, other than doing what I'm doing, there's really nothing to do but let my body ride it out. Figure on doing a lovely detox bath tonight, love them.

    Hi Everyone,

It's so weird -- I came home from work last night (I travel every Monday - Thursday, and then work from home on Fridays), and instead of being incredibly excited that it's nearly the weekend, I found myself almost dreading it. Mostly because of the food (or lack thereof). My social life in New York often revolves around going out for meals, drinks, etc. with friends, or going home to visit my parents and enjoying home-cooked meals, etc. It's funny how when you strip that part of your life down to the bare bones (e.g. doing the HCG protocol), you realize how much of a role food plays in one's day-to-day existence (or at least mine, lol).

There are also a lot more temptations at home -- my time tends to be less "scheduled," so I'm not as regimented, and there are always more options available --which can be dangerous for me. I'm also working from home next week, because of the holiday. So, I need to figure out a way to stay committed and on plan, even when I'm in this environment. Being proactive and planning meals well in advance seems key to being successful. I don't think I can leave anything to chance, especially during the first several weeks of the program.

How do all of you handle your social lives while on the program? Any tips for staying on track, while still staying sane and having fun?

Also, here are my daily stats:

    8/27: VLCD1 - 280.8 lbs.
    8/28: VLCD2 - 273.9 lbs. (-6.9 lbs.)
    8/29: VLCD3 - 269.5 lbs. (-4.4 lbs.)
    8/30: VLCD4 - 268.3 lbs. (-1.2 lbs.)
    8/31: VLCD5 - 266.6 lbs (-1.7 lbs.)

Down 14.2 lbs. so far. I know this is a lot, even by Week #1 standards. I know this will even out in coming days, and I have to say, I'm a little nervous about hitting a plateau -- one of the biggest daily motivators is seeing that number on the scale keep heading in the right direction!

Good luck to everyone out there today -- stay strong, and keep connected to your long-term goals.

I totally understand this! I'm only at 175.2 but I've noticed the last week, I can cross my legs without having to uncross immediately, or use my hands to get them crossed. It's amazing for me! If I had known how hard it is to lose weight and how things like crossing my legs with ease are big things now, I like to think I'd have chosen wiser food options-or at least enjoyed crossing my legs as a kid!
