Iíve been following all of your posts and itís amazing to me how dedicated you all are. Despite many challenges, illness, and devastating news, you are remaining focused and dedicated. It really is inspiring me to focus and work towards my goals. I am going to weigh in in an hour and begin my first day of phase 2. Iím really nervous and Iím scared I canít do it. But honestly, you all are giving me inspiration!

Iím a teacher and tonight the students at my school are putting on their annual performance. Two of my classes are performing as well. Iím really excited. However, thereís a schoolwide potluck dinner, and Iím obviously skipping that. Which means I will have to bring my dinner, or eat when I get home. Iíll be at the school from 1:30 to 7:30 prepping and helping. Itís going to be a long day.

    Lovely Losers 2018 - DECEMBER'S Decisions!!!

Yay to all regardless of up, down, looking toward a new round or starting one. You are on track and you are amazing!

Of course you can do this, Ashley! If we can, you can! We are Lovelies, not superheroes!

I went out for a work party last night and actually had fun. 2. Count em TWO martinis! Scallops, a bite of calamari and a bit of Brie cheese. I passed on the first round of the dessert as it went by and it never came around again, so that was easy.
Down to 134.2 today, but alcohol sometimes sometimes shows up as a ďfalse lossĒ due to dehydrationó so will see what tomorrow brings. Still 5.2 over where I was is much better than 8 over!

    Happy weekend all!

Ps: Girl, 5% carbs? How many grams does that come to? Interesting way to count that I had not heard of!

April and Pearly I am wishing you and everyone else a big Woosh!

April: so sorry to hear about your brother. Pearly I agree with you. It seems like my life is so stressful every day. I can just keep facing forward that is all We can do.

GWTC: I think you’re probably dealing with inflammation from G.I. issues. When this happens to me some extra water or herb tea helps me push things out. Good luck!

Diesel: Hang in there! I agree with you to stay away from opioids. I have found biofeedback helps me but nothing really works that great for chronic pain IMHO.

    Pro: welcome back!
Ashley: good luck tonight! I would either bring something or just drink some hot herbal tea. Just an idea.

AFM: I am POP but have not lost anything for 2 days. A friend of mine‘s daughter is in the ICU and a very sad situation. I am planning a planned interruption starting next week on Thursday and I honestly can’t wait! I am shouldering forward but I do need a break to get myself mentally focused again. A little bit of loss would help me feel better but them’s the breaks! At least it’s not a gain!
    Have a great weekend!

Hi lovelies, I hope Friday is going well -

GWTC, I'm sure Leez will have better advice; I generally finish P3 at 21 days per protocol. I would only extend it if I was still discovering food sensitivities.

RK, I purely hate stalls! I hope yours breaks soon.

    Happy losses, all -

    Lynne

    Round 1: 140.6
    Age: 39
    Height: 5í2Ē
    Weight lost: -14.8
    LIW: 125.8
    Lost Inches: 19.5Ē
    Current weight P3 day 12: 124.6
    Current total lost: -16
    Current total inches: 22Ē

So although Iím increasing both calories and carbs slowly and I feared weight creep, I had a loss of 0.4 this morning!

April, Iím thinking of you. Youíve had a lot on your plate and youíre still pushing forward!! Thatís an NSV if Iíve ever seen one!

Ashley, You can do this! Set your mind and the rest will follow. The fast amazing results will keep you going! Food prep and planning is the secret to my successes!

Diesel, I canít believe you are still dealing with the flu shot shoulder injury! That is totally nuts! Hoping for continued healing for you!

Pearly, currently Iím at 15g of carbs to hit 5%. Iíd like to inch my way up to 7-8% around 20g of carbs and see how I do. This is the calculator that I used https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/

Lynne, my understanding is that 21 days of p3 is the minimum, and extending it is never a bad idea. The reason Iím looking at extending p3 is because due to my correction day and 7 post correction days, I have not had the opportunity to add back in a lot of foods that I may react to. So I do t what to go into p4 and be unstable when I add in new things.

RK, I think You are right that inflammation was playing a part in my weight. Thinking of you and your friends daughter. Thatís a lot of stress which is mentally draining. Stick with it until you get to your planned interruption!

    Hi GWTC,

    That's a great reason to extend P3.

I did two corrections, which seem to be holding - currently at 134.8 lb (goal!) But I don't have any sensitivities except carbs, and assuming my weight stays stable this weekend, I plan on starting P4 on Monday. My main reason is to go back to exercise, which I had put on hold for P2/P3. Now that it's so cold here in MI (19 degrees this morning), walking outdoors isn't pleasant.

    Have a great weekend -

    Lynne

yesterday got on the scale and was 157...I about freaked, did a high protein day and back down to 154.0 with a flash of the 153's before it settled. I am plunging ahead. The phentermine is fine. They say not to drink coffee etc but it has not been a problem. I am still hungry at meals but food does seem less important. I just thought it would help get me through the holidays and all of the stress. If it can get me close to my LIW I would be happy. I am still thinking I will be doing my third round in Jan, I will figure out the dates depending on if I head to my mom's in January. My mom is leaning towards going through my brother's storage and getting rid of the storage unit. She basically has paid for it for about 8 years in his using and rehabs since he moved from PA to FL and she said she is done helping him any longer. If and when he contacts her she will let him know she is happy to get a call from him when he can, but she is not going to participate in his life any longer not like this. I check the jail booking search every day..I think we hope he will get arrested and do some time, just so we know he is alive.

Otherwise my life has slowed down. I am up working today before I go to a holiday party.

I was supposed to start vlcd1 on Friday, but life got in the way, so I started yesterday. This morning I had a 4.2 pound loss! Iím so excited!!! I am off to another great start today.

I never got hungry yesterday, but I had a lot of cravings. I really wanted to eat in the evening and was obsessing over food, but never felt hunger (except right before meal time). Even now, at 2:30 pm, Iím not at all hungry. So thatís good.

Did anyone else wake up to good news?
