Pearlie, I don't usually argue with people BUT, any surgery that is going to take weeks to months for full recovery is a big deal. Please take care of you.

Hey, Lurkie Lou Retired! Great to know you are out there! Yes, I AM taking care. It is just that it is more than one small procedure over a period of months, and about the time I get back on my way from one, it will be time for the next.

I just know I get tired easily already, but I am not doing this until I get stronger from that &%##*& bronchitis. It wore me out big time.

But glad to hear from you! Thank you for thinking of me.

PearlyMae -Don't know much about it and only stumbled across it because of the dietary enzyme discussion but Serrapeptase‎ seems to hep a lot of people with recovery. They take it before and after. Really good for inflammation.

I love Serrapeptase! Definitely good for inflammation. I take it for internal scar tissue. It eats away at anything fibrous or dead.

Well, I finally messed up! After eating clean for almost 2 weeks, I caved and ate one of my favorite snacks (involved a non-gmo starch and dairy). I haven't had any breadsticks this year, but this DEFINITELY wasn't a replacement! It was a full cheat. OK, so I am back on track, and gained less than 2 pounds. It will be back of quickly. Also, we couldn't do our janitorial account last night. Drove 30 minutes to the job and our electronic key fob didn't unlock any of the doors. One of the other fob-holders had lost theirs, so they were all reprogrammed, and they forgot about ours. We'll still get paid, and we didn't have to clean the restrooms last night. I'll meet them Friday to get new ones, and we're back to cleaning on Mon/Wed next week as usual. Hubby and I went shopping instead and bought $75 of discount groceries. The big carton of gelato is hiding at the back of the cabin freezer (the cabin is a bit of a downhill walk from the house, so I have a hard time getting there unless I am having a good week... and our son won't get into it until we tell him about it. It was a great deal, and we'll pull it out after some family meal. Daughter can't have it (allergic), and son is lactose intolerant so shouldn't have it, but will with digestive enzymes. When I am not on hhcg, ice cream was one of my big weaknesses, so I can't have it in the house or on the deck freezer. No way, no how!!! Cannot resist. Maybe for a day or two, but then the spoon is in and it's hard to stop.

Funny how tastes change though. When I had my favorite brand/flavor just before round 2, I found the flavor artificial and overly sweet. Just want a frozen banana/mango treat next time...

Today was a fun morning with a few friends checking on a few who have been ill. Then back home and now I need to catch up on things around the house as I will be gone all day tomorrow. I got up early this morning and did daughter's chores as she is still pretty sick with her cold, and I don't want her handling the dishes or out here sharing her germs!

Tastes definitely change. I recall trying something recently and couldn't believe I was once so addicted to it and thought it was soooo good. So much food nowadays has chemicals in it to make us crave it unnaturally, so it doesn't surprise me that after going so long without it, when I finally get a taste, it's never really worth it. Not like it used to be.

Ok..spoke too soon. Only change I have done is started taking some digestive enzymes. I thought it may help with getting things going again and all of that. I also had a BM, was up all night peeing so for sure thought that I would be back down. We will see what happens ate super clean yesterday. Feel good, getting lots of compliments. I really wish I would have measured because I did feel like the inches are more noticeable. i did take an epsom salt bath last night. Two nights ago I had a horrible calf cramp, the kind you wake up screaming too. My hubby had to run it out as it was not one that could be walked out., walking would have made it worse. It is still super sore.

Busy weekend. Working and preparing for my two teen junior cup golf players to arrive on Monday. We are hosting them so need to get things picked up around the house and get some breakfast items in here. We laugh that we never have any food in the house, but we really do not. I have told my kids if they do not go with or ask for it to be on the list, I don't buy it for them. Therefore have the time when I tell them to put it things on the list they usually say "I am good" because they are too busy to make the effort...again therefore we have nothing.

LOVELY LOSERS 2018 - Hotter than JULY!!!!

April, you will get lots of advice on supplements to take to prevent cramps, electrolytes, potassium etc but sometimes they hit anyway.

I know it sounds nuts but for middle of the night cramps, I keep a menthol pain rub handy. I like a roll on like Biofreeze. It stops the cramp in SECONDS. It may come back but you can reapply until it gives up. Follow the muscle/nerve on up and hit that, too. I often find a foot cramp starts behind the knee!

A massage therapist explained the science behind this but Iíve already forgotten. I just know it works.

Then he proceeded to tell me all the things to take to prevent cramps. Very nice but not much help in the middle of the night when you HAVE one. Lol. Too late to prevent one!

Iím back down yesterdayís ďupĒ. I need to change my ticker to a P3 2+/- one. Will do that later.

    On waaaaaaaard.

I totally agree with Pearly that you need something to help in the moment of the attack.

Here's a trick they teach you in life-saving school for when a calf cramp (or foot cramp) hits. It is based on accupressure points and it works for me every time. Bonus: your finger is something you always have with you.

As soon as the cramp hits, take the side of your index finger and push under and up at the base of your nose. Push hard and maintain the pressure until the cramp releases. It might take 15 seconds or more, but it will release, sometimes quicker than that.

OMGosh. What a life-saver this has been for those middle of the night attacks.

EDIT: Haven't tried this version, since the above works for me, but it's from from Patrice Morency, a sports injury management specialist in Portland, Oregon, who works with Olympic hopefuls.

When the night leg cramp strikes, grab your upper lip between your index finger and thumb, and squeeze for 30 seconds.

That is so interesting. Yes I have some biofreeze. I have not gotten a calf cramp in years..don't remember the last time I got one. I am hoping that is the last one for some time. My calf feels better today, but all day yesterday it really was killing me. Maybe that inflamed calf is contributing to my lack of a loss. I saw the scale wanting to go down, but then settled where it did. I will just keep moving forward. I did put a blouse on that I had tried on the end of P2, it is so much looser in the bust, so happy as I love this shirt and it used to pull so tightly that I could not wear it. I do like the reshaping that occurs in P3. I am looking forward to my next round which is only 8 weeks away..it will be amazing how much time flies by. Plan is to be in good shape by thanksgiving.

Super Weekend to All Yíall! R8 P4 D4 for me.

I devoted a couple of hours around what all was hopping here to finally do a post and update a few days ago. When I clicked to post it, I got an Error message and poof...all gone. wahhhhhhhh.

Well, long story short-congrats to all of our lovelies for sticking to your process no matter the challenges to get to your losses. HCG is our success story - not easy but so worth the effort. Happy to see newbies and returnees. I also had put together some of my perceptions on the Blood Type Diet within HCG protocol as for me, with Type A and an avowed carnivore...hmmmmm...there may be something to this. Even with breaking my arm, surgery for that and ongoing fibromyalgia issues, Iíve been pretty stable around my LDW (Last Dose Weight). I have also done well with paying attention to my Fitbit to get in my water, 10K to 5 mile goal and ďlightening boltĒ almost every day. Iíve been taking advantage of my morning energy getting so many fun tasks done that I havenít attempted for years. Iíve found that when I get my afternoon to evening energy drain that itís no worse if Iíve been super busy or not. It just is what it is I did my walk-in closet, armoire, dining room closet, joined hubs to totally clean back patio and then sun room...all over this past week. These activities have been so satisfying and uplifting. I realize that I havenít been doing these kinds of things because I just couldnít. I can now and want to do more...truly blessed.

I do check in on how yíall are doing regularly. (((Joy))) (((Success)))
