Ok yeah getting closer to my goal. I was out with friends yesterday and they commented. i was with a friend who has lost a sig amount of weight, though she is on a the "divorce diet" and to be honest she has lost too much, she does not look healthy. It made me realize that weight loss is not everything. Just because i have no place to put this..I have been friends with this couple for about 12 years. last year we were going to this dinner at our club (an annual seafood thing), they could not go because they were getting divorced and it was uncomfortable. This year nothing has changed, they are still living together, arguing over who will get what, who will live where, but making no decisions. My friend wants to still work part time and wants her husband to pay for everything. I found out she was bringing my name into their fights, saying.."well april thinks this and that". I finally had to say to here that I would appreciate it if they did not use my name as anything they would say I said (which I would be happy to repeat to both of them) would be out of context. Ugh!!! I hate drama. speaking of drama we had a weird interaction with someone from across the street (on a different street, our deck overlooks the side street and a group of condos), she was incredibly drunk last night. Looks like she shot her sig other and then ran and was found on the golf course and arrested. We saw him go to the hospital. I am looking forward to a boring day..and I work as a psychiatric social worker at the city jail.

Nothing to report here, because tho I did REALLY well with being POP over the 4th, Iím UP the point 4 I was down on Tuesday. I did not weigh yesterday as I was up and on the road to save curb space for the parade (for five families w special needs kids) before I am usually eyeing the snooze button on normal days.

Think the measuring tape moved a bit, though so I will see what happens tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a fun day. Now only 2 days until the weekend!

Hello All. It looks like you're all doing pretty darn great! I am a bit frustrated and haven't even started yet! I ordered my HCG last Tuesday. I've already ordered from this place before so I didn't need a dr. consult. This time I'm doing HCG and MIT and B12. Well I've reached out to my coach several times (the person I ordered through) and she hasn't replied. I'm trying to get tracking. I should have the goods by now. Finally today I called their 800# to find out that oops, they should have scheduled me a Dr appt b/c the MIT is a prescription that I haven't had with them in the past. So it's scheduled for today, but now instead of my last loading date being the 10th (DH's bday), it looks like I can't start loading until the 12th! That will put me behind a week which stinks. I'm trying to be done by early Sept b/c I have a 15 year wedding aniv. to celebrate and my bday on the 20th and 21st and want to be well into P3. I'm doing a long round of 45 days. I'm at 199 right now and am 5'1. I'm hoping to be at 195 when I start and drop 30+ pounds. My first BIG goal is 160-165. I thought my ultimate goal was 140-145 but I'm seeing how so many my height get to the 100-120 range, so I'm thinking I'm settling for a safe #. I guess as I get closer to what I think my ultimate goal is, I'll decide if it's really my ultimate goal. Either way, I have high hopes of hitting my 140#'s this year!

I always do the Original protocol. I find it pretty simple since there are only a handful of things I'll eat off the list anyway. My meals consist of cabbage, lettuce, cucumbers and chicken, shrimp and steak. And LOTS of Water. Makes shopping quick and easy lol. Plus I can normally order chicken on a bed of lettuce with red wine vinegar if we are at a rest.

Ok ladies. You keep up the good work and I look forward to starting sooner-rather than later!

Kristy..good luck getting your stuff ordered, sometimes for a little more money they will ship it faster. I find it easy as well as I only eat beef and chicken, and usually cucumber, asparagus, lettuce, tomato..I did have some cottage cheese this go around and I think I am going to have some eggs tonight.

Kristy -- That whole shipping ordeal sucks! But glad you'll be getting started soon. Good luck and wishing you great losses this time around.

April -- Sorry to hear about all the drama. Especially with the divorcing couple. Hopefully things will smooth over soon and moving forward they keep your name out of it.

AFM, my weight is fluctuating a little more than I would like it to, but that's P3 for you! I can't wait to get back to P2, because it's so much easier for me to follow protocol with that than to monitor what's causing all these fluctuations in P3. I'm not going to stress about it so much, though, because I still have a couple of more rounds to go. I'll be more concerned about stabilizing in P3 after my last round. I'm looking at this one like practice for the final round. lol...

Hope the scale is being good to everyone! Keep up to good work, lovelies!

Lovely-try adding back one new thing at a time and giving it to days to see if your weight fluctuates. Itís important you stabilize in P3 before going back to P2.

April-sorry you were dealing with all this mess with your friends. Divorce can be stressful but this doesnít even sound like what that is. More like a really really long argument. Like they say with friends like these who needs enemies!

Sorry I didn't get to a computer yesterday, but when we were home, hubby was updating his non-brewing resume, and applying for jobs. After 2 months of focusing on trying to find a local brewing job, he is now having to broaden his search to other fields where his past mechanical experience fits.

I woke up yesterday and decided that it was the day to start loading. Starting with my drops and had some cheese and salami (two of the things I will miss for the next few months!), and then we went out for an early buffet dinner over an hour away. Just the three of us as our daughter just can't work her schedule out to make it with us for 2 more weeks. I totally overate, and am probably up 5 pounds today with lots of bloating. I slept in today, and had guacamole with non-gmo organic corn chips, and have salmon and salad with avocado planned for dinner.

All of my chicken is grilled and portioned for the week. I have a few vegees for the week, and will stop at Costco on the way home from work tomorrow for gala apples and mini cucumbers. I wish they sold heads of cabbage and big containers of arugula there! Those are 2 of my staples, and I can't eat many of the vegees on the pounds and inches list due to their high oxalate content, so I tend to stick to romaine, cucumbers, arugula and cabbage. I love it when we go to the asian market and get a huge batch of bok choy! Money will be tight for a while with both of us losing our jobs though, so until we find more work, it will probably be mostly romaine and cabbage for me...

Tomorrow is my last day at my current job, so I am going to have time the next two weeks to get well established with phase 2. I noticed last round was hard with the huge water weight swings (8-9 pounds per day) when I had the 16 hour work days. That shouldn't happen this time because I won't be pushing my physically challenged body so much, and then having to take 3 days to recover, just to do it all over again. I am going to still do some work, but not long days... Also, we are possibly zeroing on the genetic issue that is at the root of the potassium/magnesium/sodium depletion issue. Maybe that will help find a better way to cope or to at least help me to stabilize better...

Ronnie.. good luck on the work. That can be so stressful. The divorce drama of my friend is hard.. but today found out that the gal last night shot her husband. He looks like he will survive and I bet her charges will be lowered from murder 1, but she was a hot mess last night when she was harassing us. So sad to see a party go horribly wrong

I thoroughly enjoyed my last loading dinner, baked garlic/ginger/sesame oil salmon, with fresh corn on the cob slathered in organic grass-fed butter. I am ready for my VLCD1 tomorrow, and even packed my drops in my work bag early so I wouldn't forget them. Just got up to get a new bottle out to take some tonight. I have about 1/5 bottle left from last round, so I will just leave that in my purse until the end of the round, adding to it as needed, so that I always have them with me. I am the type of person who ALWAYS forgets things! My new bottle is the first of the 12 pack I bought right when hubby was told he lost his job. Best $159 I have spent in a LONG time, as I can do many rounds to get close to goal, and then I want to switch to injections for the last 2 rounds. I just can't afford the injections now, but once I have a job, I am going to start saving a little at a time in the back of my hcg box (where I am keeping my extra bottles of hhcg) so that I have the funds when I get close... I know those last 20 pounds will be really hard to lose, as it's been decades since I have been below 185 (size 14 for me). I am not sure what my final goal will be, but I figure when my body starts really resisting the hhcg, I will probably still be able to lose 20 more with a few rounds of injections. For now, I just put 165 as my goal... I am only 5'4", but I tend to carry my weight all over, very well distributed (I am big everywhere!) Also, I am very dense boned. '

Exercise options may be very limited, but I am hoping that as I lose more weight, my stamina will improve. My joints will still dislocate really easily and frequently though, so many options are out. Even walking in the pool the other day caused my kneecap to slip a bit...really surprised be, and I can't wear my current knee brace in water. I may be able to find one that is water proof, but I don't have regular access to a pool so it probably isn't worth the expense. My insurance doesn't cover braces unless they contain metal (my knee brace has hinges, but I removed them as they aren't necessary and just added bulk.) That was a great tip from the tech at the place I bought it. She told me how to get it covered and how to remove the metal. Unfortunately, my legs have too much fluff, and the braces don't stay in place. Gravity pulls them downward, and the buttress pulls my patella down...Hopefully when I have less padding on my upper thigh, the braces will work better and stop causing more problems than they prevent. Of course, I will have to buy all new ones, as all my current ones are XL

Well, I guess I should head back to bed. Gotta get up in 5 1/2 hours, and I am finally getting sleepy. Good night all you lovely losers! Have a great Friday. I will post my post-loading weight tomorrow night if I remember to weigh early tomorrow morning.

    Hi ladies,

I am starting round two and loading this weekend! I am very excited about it - Round 1 went really well and I maintained my losses. Although, granted it has only been four months. This round I am planning on going for the full six weeks as I am hoping this will be my final round! But I also know that if I get close to falling off the wagon, I am best falling off into P3 and just doing a round in the future rather than jeopardizing my stabilization. I follow the original protocol for the most part - don't eat most meat so eat the occasional egg and cottage cheese when I am getting too bored with seafood.
