tomorrow will be LIW for me. Had hoped to see those 150's this round, but I am pretty sure I will be in the 160 range based on this. I am good. I am ok as I can settle into the 1-2 pound below LIW. Plan is to maintain for 3 weeks in P3, then I am going to try to lose a few in P4, before my next round, so I can hit 135-138 during the next round. i am hoping I can go a little longer next round if I need to. We will see I am really just open to the process. So happy to be able to just have a full meal on Friday, already planning a big mixed salad with chicken thighs and I have a great salad dressing that I used in previous P3's that I forgot I used to buy all of the time until I was at the store. They used to only sell it at whole foods, but they now sell it at my normal store. It is just olive oil based and a ton of seasonings.

I did think based on my urine output that I would lose more, but Hunter (my oldest and type 1) is at camp in Michigan His blood sugar was super low several times, I had to call and wake him up, now it is way too high and he is going to breakfast because he probably overcorrected. It is hard, of course the emergency number was not in service so will need to one of those, so I don't have to bother his roommate all night by calling, needless to say I did not sleep hardly at all.

    Hey Robin! I remember you!

April, very scary. Glad you were able to get hold of him!

Tight, job sounds great. But---toddler? Less colds etc? No school age kids to drag home every bug, I hope. I remember those days FOR SURE!

Shout out to the rest of you Lovelies! Thank you for your support and the THANKS AND LIKES. So fun to get!

I had a good weekend and Lost a little EVERY DAY. Even smidges add up. I'm only down 1.8 for week 4 so far, but I have three days to go, so I'm so grateful! The blouse I am wearing today goes past my hips and when I bought it, it did not move. I had to encourage it down and peel it up! Now, it swishes! Woooo hooo! I can even wear belts again without them riding up to my boobs if I move. I am sooooo happy.

I am 1.6 away from 135. It is amazing, because when younger, I used to try to be 110, and actually went to Weight Watchers for 4 months because I hit 120 and was so upset! It took me four months to lose 10 pounds. (The girl I went with is now not only a lifetime member, but an instructor. And still fighting her thighs, so wish I could tell her about hcg, but she would probably not believe me!)

In my 40's I hit 135 for the first time and was devastated. Hahhahahahahahahahhhha. Well, perspectives change. I got to be a lifetime member of Jenny Craig trying to avoid that number. Today, I would be so thrilled to be 135 again! Last summer I finally got to 125 and stayed there for quite a while, then kept creeping up over 130 and it was driving me crazy. That is probably why I went AWOL for a while, and because I was sicker than I realized and started eating Bad Carbs for comfort and quick energy in order to keep going.

Right now, I just want to get to that 135 I used to fear so much. I have a doctor's appt on Thursday, and that's where I want to be to weigh in there. It may mean some surgery soon, and if so, I probably want to stay at 135 until that is all done and well healed.

1.6 in 3 days is possible, but not promised. At least I am feeling like I have a shape again. One that does not resemble a Teletubby!

    ONWARD HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

When i first did HCG I was down to 128..I am hoping for 135-140 I am 5'5" and have super long legs and when I get down farther than that. I cannot find pants that fit me length wise. Also at age 50 I don't want to increase any lines in my face by being too thing. I hope to get there in the fall. PearlyMae..how exciting for you to be so close to goal.

    Cool P2 in the Summertime . . .

    Hello Lovelies ~

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July week/weekend.

Im here for my P2 Round - Number 479 (or so it feels like it).

The bad news is I gained 3 pounds over the 4th of July holiday weekend.

    {WARNING: Partying with nearly 50 Italians for 2 days straight can be very hazardous to your WEIGHT}

The good news is that I lost 4 pounds before I went on the trip, in anticipation of the eating/drinking I would do, so Im still sitting at 6 pounds over my last LDW, just as I was in June.

    Could be worse.

Not meaning to jinx myself, but I actually set a loss goal for this P2 not a weight loss, but an inches loss goal. I have 2 pairs of dress slacks that I cannot button at the moment, that I MUST be able to wear to my annual August Las Vegas Conference.

So that is my P2 goal to get into those slacks and wear them comfortably.

Gotta run to yet another meeting, BUT Ill try to catch up as much as I can this week.

    HUGS to ALL!!

PearlyMae, I know exactly how you feel - I saw a photo of myself 10 years ago and thought 'why on earth was she unhappy with her weight, she had a great body!'. That being said, I don't even know what my weight was then because I didn't own a scale, I just felt 'fat' because I didn't have a flat belly like some of my friends. I am not even aiming to get to that weight though, I just want a weight where my cardiologist isn't concerned about how much I weigh.

I'm on R2, P2, VLCD D2 and lost only 0.8 lbs on my first day. I am feeling frustrated because I didn't get that satisfaction of a massive change on the scale. But I shouldn't feel that way because I didn't gain during loading (ate fats, not carbs). So much of the diet is in my head - breaking habits, becoming more mindful of my patterns, and the boredom that comes after the first 2 weeks - and the massive weight drop in the first week is so motivational. But oh well, based on my first round, I am an average loser, averaging 0.5 lbs/day.

No, no, no. Most people GAIN 2-3 pounds loading and THEN lose 1 to 2 pounds, with a NET GAIN for day 1. You are ahead of the game with a Net LOSS already! You coulda gained 2.8 and lost 2.8 and been even. NOT gaining on loading is awesome. Pat yourself on the back and consider yourself hugged by all of us! P

    Hi Lovelies,

Hoping another Aussie can join in. I've been reading this thread for ages & enjoying all your posts. It's really helped me & ive leant a lot. Also You ladies crack me up, especially you Pearly....

I'm on D1 P2 & have done quite a few rounds over the last 2 years. Ive done a 3 day load with a gain of my usual 1.4kg (3lbs approx). Didn't gorge, just healthy fats with a couple of treats. Am hoping to lose another 12kgs (26lbs), but this would take at least another 2-3 or more long rounds as I am a slow loser unfortunately. It can be frustrating when the usual average minimum 1/2 lb daily weight loss is way more than double of what I lose per round. I shouldn't complain really,at least I can lose on hcg even if it's a little. I can't lose without it. Have been trying for years & years. No Dr can explain why no loss, they just don't believe me. I've been doing low carb for the last 9 years or so this way of eating I'm very familiar with. But stabilising is the hard part & the creep happens even being pop.. But I'm no quitter & will keep persevering until I find a way. I might try the Leptin Reset in P3, not sure yet.

Well that's enough of me rambling. Looking forward to getting to know you all. Have a LOVELY day everyone!!!

    Hello ladies!!
i havent posted in over a month. i am pretty much in permanent p3. most of the time. i finished p2 and gained the dreaded 2lbs back immediatly
from eating. then i gained another 2 that no matter what i do will not come off.
first week we were putting in new floors, second week daughter and son in law here from Oklahoma. we ran to the mountains, then to the beach
then to washington. eating all the way!! i was as careful as i could be considering i had no time to cook! Then a week of dying i was so tired as well
as getting ready for flea market. which went very well!
Then ive spent the last week gutting 2 bedrooms of all my shop inventory to make room for my semi suicidal (not kidding) brother. who texted me today
to tell me hes not coming. arghhhhh!! worries me as he is 3 hours away. although he sounded really good in his messages. still i worry. most people are
super happy before they made the dreaded move. i know as ive been there once already with my dad. not trying to be gloomy gus, but its what it is right
    now.
So i am hoping to try to get into the keto thing. but always eat more protien than fat.
I am going to really try and stay accountable to the group now that things might slow down a bit. although, i am still gutting and cleaning
those 2 rooms which is a good thing!!
will try and read back posts later!!

Thanks for the suggestion April & T1ght!!! That magnesium citrate took me through hell last night, but I woke up to my LIW, which I have not seen in over 10 days!!!

Going to switch up my diet a little and focus more on eating things good for digestion (and my blood type), and see if I'm able to stabilize that way.
