Thread: Lovely Losers 2018 - NO NONSENSE in NOVEMBER!!!

  1. #85
Hey everyone! So glad to see the Lovely Losers are still around!! I don't have much time right now to read through but I'll try to a bit later.

I'm planning a round starting 1/1/19. I've been exercising pretty regularly and hope to continue that in P2 in January but we'll see. I can't seem to get my diet completely under control for any length of time so I guess it's time for something extreme (HCG) that I know will work. I'm planning just a 3 week round and after the holidays vs. during which is what I normally do.

Hope everyone is doing well! I'll be around now and then before I start my round and I'll be here on the reg during because I definitely need support!
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round: P2 starts 08/06/19
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 148.0

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies ! I'm on my PC now so I can give a little more background on me. I am a seasoned veteran of hcg. Been using off and on since 2011 and really only had a few successful rounds. One being last summer. Went from 175 to 151. Well unfortunately I am back up and this time the 180s. My previous signature is old. I think I corrected it now. I cannot keep yo-yoing. It's got to stop. I want to make a change for life. It's been difficult. A lot of emotional eating this past year. I mean who gains 30 lbs?? Usually I don't go above 165, but I've really fell off the wagon. Luckily I carry my weight very well and not a lot of ppl even notice, but of course, I do. I started working from home 2 years ago so don't have to "face" anyone so that has played a big factor. I need support badly. The Facebook forums seem to be for the newbies and I feel like I just mostly contribute knowledge, but don't get the support I need. I'm single and a pretty woman, but I hate my body and don't even want to date anyone because of this extra weight. This need to be the "Last" round. I will most likely load Thur Fri.
I look forward to getting to know each of you. Thanks for letting me a part of this group.

    Hello Susan,

I so sympathize! I carried 40 extra pounds for over 10 years - I would lose 10 to 20, then regain - I pretty much gave up. Then I was diagnosed Type 2 diabetic and I was finally motivated. I used HCG first with supervision and lost 15 lbs; four more rounds to get (almost) to goal weight.

I know you can lose and keep it off!

    Happy losses,

    Lynne

I only have 4 injection days left! A week from today, I will be increasing calories slowly and adding foods slowly. I can hardly wait! But I would really love to lose a bit more before p2 ends!

    Hi Everyone!

Girl with the curls you have done so great!!! What a wonderful weight loss because it is so tough to lose when you are close to goal!

Lynne so nice of you to be so supportive. Glad you got through so much weight loss.

So I have a lot of days working from home, and one thing I have learned is to have planned adult interactions- walks after work with pals, meet up groups to meet new pals, etc. Also it is key for me to have a list of what to do instead of eating and keep trigger foods out of the house or in a separate cabinet for others. Just some thoughts that helped me build new habits. A friend of mine goes to a small group exercise class everyday very early in the morning and has met people that way... But I found planning time to speak to people outside of work helped me lose weight and avoid emotional eating. I also read everything I could on the web about "what to do to avoid emotional eating" on breaks to try to get a better grip...

Hope this helps or springboards you into some great ideas! Then share with me!

AFM: Down a whole pound after a 6 day plateau. I have never had such a weird weight loss pattern as I have this round. Oh well, I am just so darn grateful to be losing even though I have been POP.

I am planning to cheat on Thanksgiving for the main meal, then hop right back on and be POP before and after. Any ideas about how to minimize the damage on Thanksgiving? Please share your ideas!

    Have a great day.

    Best,
    RK

Girlwiththecurls: You've done amazing! Your weight right now is what I would dream of lol I used to be 123 but I've gained about 30 lbs. since I hit 30. Great job and keep it up!!

rkthin: I would say to stick mainly to proteins and veggies and stay away from breads on Thanksgiving. Also try to stay away from sweets, if possible. You'll be fine

Today is my last day of work until next week. Woohoo! I'm trying to minimize any damage/weight gain through the rest of this year but we'll see how that goes. My loading days will be 12/30 and 12/31 then P2D1 is 1/1. I'd like to lose about 30 lbs. but I'm not counting on it since I'll only be doing a 21 day round lol I'd be happy with about 15 though!

Been a few days and I need to go back and find my stats. I am up again to 154.7. My scale is super wonky and I am not sure if I just need a new one or if i can get this one to settle down. I am pretty sure this is related to stress and the fact that I am run down and my throat is killing me. My husband has had a lot of good contacts and we should get the severance on Friday. I need to change health insurance and it may end up being better, so that is a plus. I have been eating well, no over eating and no over drinking, so cortisol and being run down I am pretty sure are my culprits. Have been trying to do some deep breathing.
At least the gains have not been in my mid section which is my trouble area and I feel thinner there..who knows where the weight is.

I am doing a round in Jan. Did Nov fly by..I cannot believe we will be putting up our tree this weekend. We usually do not do it this early, but we cut it down on a friend's property so this is the one weekend we have available.
