    LOVELY LOSERS 2018 - ON IT in OCTOBER!!!

    Hello to all of the Lovely Losers out there from Coco (aka sdwis your newest Moderator). Here's your new thread for OCTOBER 2018.

    This joyful and jubilant group of HCGers have been starting new threads every month for years to prevent people from having to sort through literally thousands of old posts, and making it easier for new people to join in.

    Please note as you read through the posts:

    We are all in different phases of HCG.

    Again flashed on 152 and settled here. I don't think I have ever in my history of HGC been in a stall, but tomorrow will officially be one. It makes you want to cheat a little, but I am going to stay the course as I only have 4 more days of injections. I have thought about going 5 more days. I will just see if I start to lose again. My had a physical yesterday and my doc was very happy and he had me down as a 24 lb weight loss. He said he does not like HCG, but if it works for me he is ok with it. He said my testosterone should settle down in about 8 weeks, the pellet only lasts for about 3 months, so I will probably not get another one until after my next round in Feb. Not sure if that is impacting my losses or not. I am bummed but also very happy with how I feel and look in my clothes so keep reminding myself this is a journey. I will not do an apple day. I am going to look in the 2.0 stuff to see if there is anything people do to break stalls. I am playing tennis tonight and taking some stuff to help me poop..so we will just see what tomorrow brings.

    I think your doing great. It sucks to stay in one spot but that makes me think you are ready for a whoosh...as I stated before I always found my cellulite got very noticeable right before a whoosh. Fingers crossed it all goes according to plan. Testosterone in general should help with weight loss and muscle building.

    Have you played a lot of tennis/sports in the days your stalled? maybe so water retention too? I know you ladies are much more advanced and smartie pant users of protocol but another thing to try is a shot of ACV before bed, I find it helps me release water overnight.

    AFM - still in the 2.5 over LIW. Ready to settle into more normal days and will work on that 2.5 pounds.

    Hey

    I could try some acv.. before bed. I decided to mix things up and just do a protein day and see if that helps. I am nearing the end so willing to try new things. I am playing tonight so that maybe a good idea, along with some epsom salt.

    Yeah I keep thinking i will have a woosh before the end of this round

    You have had such a good round! Take a breath and celebrate!

    A 21 day round (plus two loading) is SUPPOSED to get you a 10 pound loss! Your A+ effort is giving you A+ results! Nobody loses every day, but you have been blessed with very consistent losses, even in to week 3.

    But that week 3 is often to give your body a chance to get used to that 10 pound loss, so you will be able to maintain it and not pop right back up again. Further losses that week are not guaranteed. I lose most of my 10 pounds by day 14 and then just sit there. If you were thinking 15 pounds in a round, that usually takes a 30 day round, as you know! Anytime I can squeeze out another 1-2 pounds in week 3 is a total win, and you WILL probably get one more nice woosh yet.

    I know you wanted 147ish, but that would be 14 pounds from your last LIW in 21 days? That is really expecting a LOT. You are taking testosterone, but that doesn't make you a guy! (cuz THEY lose a pound a day!) LOL. I know, I feel ya. I always want just a FEW MORE. However, I've found sometimes even going that extra week to 30 days is not worth the brain damage, as it does not squeeze out enough to make it worth while, when it will take another round to actually get where ya wanna be anyway.

    You know all of this. I am just saying I think you are beating yourself up and pushing yourself unrealistically. You also know that at 150 those big losses are not as easy as they were at 160 etc. You will get there. I bet if you measure, you will see you are slimmer than you were at this weight before. Every time you do an hcg round, you reshape.

    I am NOT criticizing you. I just want you to be gentler to yourself. And remember all the newbies out there lurking and reading who come in here and expect to lose more than is humanly possible, and I know you would tell them the same thing. Average half a pound a day is a job WELL DONE.

    You have done awesome. Enjoy the WIN!
    (and remind me the same thing next time I want just 2 or 3 more out of a round!)

    thanks...no you are right. I am letting go of the number and just trying to work on breaking the stall and getting some place before the end of the round. I am good with my clothes right now..so I keep telling myself that.

    Wow, weird! I posted this morning and don't see it anywhere!

    April, I agree, take a breath and just enjoy where you're at! You've done SO well, take a step back and look at the whole picture

    AFM, today was my very first steak day (I used chicken, but, well, you get the picture!) This new med I'm on is very similar to hcg - no hunger, then full after a few bites. Great, but just not great right now. So, I tried compensating last night and well, here I am. Oh well, at least it's not a mystery, right?

    I'm actually cooking homemade applesauce! I'm canning it then passing out at Christmas. I haven't done this in literally decades, but it sure sounded homey and fun. I guess we'll see once it's done and I taste it, huh? Just adding cinnamon, not sugar. Hubby and I went and picked apples on Saturday, so it's made with those

    Hi Lovelies!

    Hi Lovelies, I am sorry for not checking in the last couple months! I am caught up on this month so far and excited to see all the really great news!

    April, Congrats on the great losses!

    Blue, your applesauce project sounds delicious!

    Rose, congrats on being under LDW!

    Pearly, you are a never-ending source of encouragement! I am so happy to see you!

    This is the longest P3 I have been in since ending the last round mid-May. I want to start another round, but I am planning on waiting until New Years and just sticking with and practicing P3 until then. I have been having a really hard time with weight and not been under 200 since shortly after getting there. I'm trying not to be discouraged. I am not cheating, but I need to work more on which foods specifically make me gain or maintain. My goal right now is focusing on adding more good fats and strategically eating just enough of the low carb veggies. I can really eat a lot of them, and those are the only carbs I eat aside from some nuts and the fat in sheep cheese--the last 2 things are surely also a huge issue for me. I rarely eat bacon and do gain on that temporarily as always. I am frightened about gaining weight on low carb, but this fight is worth it, and I will figure it out. All advice is welcome and requested! If I feel like I need to start a round sooner, I will. The main reason for waiting so long is the horrible hair loss and breakage that is evident from pictures as starting after I started the diet, and I know it is because I did too long of a round and too many rounds too close together. Another reason to follow the protocol! I have no regrets about this diet. Cheers to all of you! Never give up! I will be here more often for accountability and to cheer you on until I start the next P2!
