    I know for me, P2 doesn't really matter if I weigh everyday. That's when I've weighed once a week, no problem, helps mentally. P3 I definitely weigh everyday without fail, and P4 I start weighing every other day once I reach the third week. Any less than that and I'd be in a predicament. Like April, I've got to keep track, be accountable, so it doesn't snowball on me. ESPECIALLY with the needs I have, little gains turn into BIG gains very quickly if I don't stay on it consistently.

    re:weighing daily, I agree with Blue and April. I found in P2 I had a pattern of losses that was 1 day of small loss, 1 day of small or no loss, one day of no loss or small gain, then woosh, a loss that put me back at an average. After that, I weighed only every 4th day! LOL. That helped my stress level a great deal. However, as time has gone by, I've had rounds where the losses were more smooth, and then I had to weigh every day to keep on top of it all.

    I P3, P4, PLIFE, every. day. EVERY. DAY. That day I skip, means I am skipping for a REASON and if I am skipping, it is because I Don't Want to Know, and then I don't weigh again the next day cuz it is even harder to face, and then its Donuts Pizza & Fries TRA LA! So, for me, every day. P

    And that 1.4 gain, GONE. plus .2 more. 129.2 today. Glad I weighed and didn't miss THAT!

    Just over my 2lb window. Not sure what I ate yesterday that triggered me. I was a little higher when I woke up but had a BM and feel better. I did have some olives wondering about that. I have had a rough week and have not really been to the store so this has been not the smoothest transition into P3. The weird thing on the scale is that my fat percentage is down 2%. So not sure what that is about. I feel good. I am not going to stress about it. I do have a pretty social day and then my life gets super busy and not social, so I will eat high protein today, with some wine...and I will see what happens tomorrow and I will eat very high protein, higher fat and low carb the next week as I leave for Vegas for a conference next Sunday. I think I can get it off. I am playing tennis today then have a deck party. I get my lipo shot today, work a little before hand.

    Thanks..Yes I think I will be ok also and yes stress has something to do with it. On the bright side I put on a pair of pants that did not fit when i finished the round. I got them on but no way would i wear them..and this morning slipped them on and I would wear them. A little bulge on the side, but not uncomfortable at all. So hoping to be back down in my zone tomorrow.

    Good morning. 43 degrees, rain, down to 35 by tomorrow morning. Yup, Fall has definitely arrived. I'm getting a cold, don't necessarily feel bad but lots of nasal stuff, some coughing, sneezing. Hubby has an upset tummy which he never gets, so something is going around. I'm looking forward to just having the trip back done. The last couple weeks here are always stressful and hectic. Didn't weigh, will tomorrow. But, having the same foods at the same times, nothing new.

    April, I totally agree with Pearly. Congrats on working your way down through your wardrobe LOVELY LOSERS 2018 - ON IT in OCTOBER!!!

    Received final documents to close out and distribute my dad's estate. In FL if the estate is $75k or more, you're required to have a probate attorney handle it. It sounds fancy calling it an estate, there really wasn't anything there. He passed on February 4, it's been rolling through probate all this time. Seeing the forms just really reopened everything for me. I was with him when he passed, I'm so thankful for that. It's like being up here I've been able to block all of that, very few reminders around me. BUT, getting back to FL everywhere I look and go will put his death in the forefront. Bracing myself for all of that, plus facing the holidays. Okay, enough of all that. I just had to write it out to start working through it, you know?

    I am at a weird place on this diet. I'm not hungry at all and have been making myself eat. Is there any harm in skipping a meal if you really don't want it?

    Coffee, try to get at least all of your protein in. On P2 you're basically bordering on protein deficiency.

    So back in my window. I did not have a lot to eat but did have a lot of wine. I am completely the opposite of most people if I drink I usually can easily not eat. Going to stick with some high protein for the next couple of days and keep it super clean. I played tennis and had gf's over, we just did cold cuts, avocado and cucumbers. As they munched on donut holes i never even felt tempted and I do like a piece of Lily's chocolate each day, I can really go without donuts and cakes. I think I need to make cookies for bosses day lunch Tuesday. I guess I will do that later today and put them aside. I have a busy day of work, at least I only have one place to drive. We have gotten snow today..that actually has stuck on the ground. We have had so many years where they have said it was going to be a big snow year and then it has not...I am not a huge fan of being cold.
    Next week is Vegas for a conference. I am happy they just give me a food allowance and I do not have to get receipts for that. Usually at those conferences is is bagels and muffins for breakfast, so will get my own and same for lunch...

    so sorry about your father and having to go through that. I remember when we had to probate my MIL's estate and it took a long time as well.

    I've done really long rounds (on the homeopathic hcg) and lost well, but it can be really hard on your body. I don't recommend going too long because of that.

    Beachy - there is lots of info on keto and low carb. I am not sure what I believe, tbh. I know that you can lose and maintain eating all foods which the IFYM approach follows, and have lost weight eating all foods but it is definitely easier to overeat when you indulge in carb type of foods - breads, processed snacks etc. Think of a bar of chocolate - it usually doesn't satiate you but you have just eaten 400ish calories. Trying to eat 400 calories of protein would stuff you to the gills on lean meats. I think moderation is key long term.

    I have dropped .6 to 3.5 over LIW with good food habits, going to continue that.

    It was Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday so I made a ham, potato, corn casserole lol - kids and hubby had hockey practice so no time for a major meal and hubby and I worked. Tonight is our BFF's birthday dinner at his MIL's house and she is making home made fried chicken. What will save me is I don't eat meat off a bone and I am sure it will be all the normal fried chicken meats so I can just have my own supper with the sides. Xavier has a football game and Lexi is suppose to have vball practice but looks like we will miss it for bday supper.

    Delivered another book order yesterday so down to 9 orders left lol, finished a second book last night that can either be for an order or for my craft show so thankfully it is double duty.

    Thank you Bluetech! I have read a lot of her old posts and her web site a while ago. I agree with the long term low carb not working and need to learn how to eat right without gaining. I will reach out to her for advice.
