Looking at your status everything looks right on track till second week of P3 It might be helpful if you posted a few days of your foods since you started gaining. It is hard to tell what you mean by following low carb. Specifically P3 is not really about low carb. It is the time when you stabiluze by adding fats back in and not eating starches and sugars. I eat at least two servings of fruit per day and veggues plus more meats in P3 Nuts get me in trouble so i dont eat them in P3 Some dairy is problematic. Maybe write every single thing down the next cpl of days. Also i keep drinking half my weight in water

JessieB..you can clarify but is the second week of P3 when you had the bought with the stomach bug and we wondered if those losses were accurate? I do agree with Rose in P3. I am not a big fruit eater, but do not watch anything but my starches and sugars in P3. Then when you are on P4 and start to add in starch you want to lower your fat content with those meals. I know they say low carb long term is not good but I don't think they mean low carb so eat a bunch of refined wheat etc based carbs, they mean have veggies, fruits and healthy grains as tolerated and pay attention.

Well I know i replied....lol guess I am still having troubles. I will clear my cache again.

I am bouncing around weight wise. I think I am on my 'PMS' I have an IUD so I don't get a period so it usually is a guess. Most times I am not affected by it but since my new IUD and the addition of progesterone I am noticing it more. I have had a break out of acne and bloat, also have been on the testosterone supplement for a couple weeks now too so not sure if that is adding into the hormonal mess I am at the moment. I do need a good BM, so tonight after the kids sports are done I will be taking a dose of magnesium to see if that helps.

    Good morning HCG'ers!

Day 25 - I'm down a bit over 14 lbs. Loving it!!! Nothing like waking up and seeing smaller and smaller numbers on the scale. I believe a week from Friday will be the end of my round - so 32 vlcd's. I'm currently 8-9 lbs away from goal and have come to terms that I won't get there. I do hope to get another 4-5 lbs closer over my last week and a half on vlcd's. I'll take each and every ounce. I may be doing a week planned interruption and then go right back on hcg to try to get to goal weight but the closer to the end I get the less I want to do that. I think I can get them off in P3/P4 by watching my intake and being careful.

Today on deck are an egg with egg whites for breakfast & turkey bacon, NY strip for dinner with zucchini chips and lunch maybe a protein shake I'm not quite sure.

You all are doing great! I love seeing your updates.

Welcome back Nonie! I don't remember you but I'm also on and off this forum over the years. Day 25 woo hoo!! How is your round going? How do you like the patches? I do drops but have wondered how the patch thing is. I've fallen for hcg 2.0 so I do that instead of the original protocol.

Good morning! It's a gorgeous fall day here in CT. Clear, bright, sunny, low 60's, just perfect. Hubby and I just got back from taking the pooches to the lake, boy they loved it.

Jessie, yup, I concur with April - that bump up in P3 - is that when you were having all your tummy issues? We figured your LIW should actually be closer to 170, right? If so, you're right on track.

April, I couldn't help it, HAD to look up those boots! OMG, they are gorgeous!!!! I'm totally boot envious right now

Diesel, I'm sure the magnesium will provide some much needed relief. Yeah, when I take it I try to time it so hubby is gone - gives nice quiet time to concentrate on business, KWIM?

Jen, your menu sounds totally yummy. You're doing great, too, keep it up!

Nonie, welcome glad you joined us! Your losses look great, congrats. I'm P4 now, but will be using patches when I do my next round. How are you liking them?

AFM, P4D11 and I'm right back to 173.8#. I'm really, really pleased at how solid I've stabilized but MAN, I'll bet this set point is going to be hard to break on my next round, ugh! Sure is nice now, though. With the nice weather today we're grilling some steaks tonight for supper. That'll likely be the last of the grilling before we leave. My challenge over the next three weeks or so is to use all the stuff in the freezers. I have a small 3/4 size fridge in the kitchen upstairs and a full sized fridge in the basement. The kitchen is so small that when we remodeled last year, I had to choose between a full sized oven or fridge so I chose the full sized oven. It does get to be a pain going up and down stairs to get things, but the trade off has been terrific. The little stove that was here was from the '60's and it couldn't have been 12" wide. No regular pans fit in it, it didn't hold a steady temperature, it just had seen it's better days. So, most of groceries go in the basement fridge, daily goods in the kitchen fridge. The menu should be pretty inventive the last week or so, hee hee. There's no central heat here, when we leave there's no heat at all. I'll have to take anything that could freeze so want to keep that amount to a minimum.

My doc called this morning and confirmed they sent their necessary paperwork for the Humira. I should have a decision in the next day or so from what those folks have said.

Nonie - welcome back. 20.6 is amazing!

I am having trouble with the forum as well. I find every time I go to a new page, I have to refresh it and then the new posts appear.

AFM, down 2.0 this morning. Love big losses the first week. Sure wish they'd continue!

    April,
Whoo hoo~! Nice drop. Way to hang in there.

    Welcome back Nona!

Everyone else, remember: You are here so you are WINNING.

Rosie, you are an inspiration to me when you talk about eating fruit. I used to enjoy plain yogurt with a quarter cup of blueberries and a handful of almond slices as my regular breakfast in P4. Then I went to "dairy as a condiment" philosphy and tried berries withjust enough HWC to make them damp and sliced almonds. My weight kept creeping up, so cut out the berries completely--probably been 2 years ago.

Now---with you as my guide-- I am trying them again--blueberries, raspberries, blackberries. With an actual splash of HWC and almond slices. NO GAINS to date. I've had them probably 3-4 times a week the past month.

Very likely it was never the berries and probably not the dairy. It was the trying to stay at 125 instead of under 133 that makes the diff. LOL. But boy, am I happy to have some fruit again.

Yesterday for the first time, I can almost see there IS a difference in my midriff area post surgery. I have the bruises to prove there was fat removal,(transfer) but I could not see any change in shape. Yesterday I put a belt on that always made me feel like I was trying to tie a string around an egg... and the egg had a flatter front. Today I am wearing a dress that I always felt I had to wear spanx from my chin to my knees with, but it looks... okay. Mrs. Measuring Tape still says I have a couple of inches to go to be back to my P2 numbers, so there is still plenty of swelling, but seeing even a tiny bit of progress sure helps my mood.

Oh Please, let it be so!

Sort of grouchy-tired-overwhelmed-restless-itchy-sore the past couple of days, so not at my best right now. So I needed that little win.

    Onward!

Yes your right ...actually I was sick for a lot of days during both my P3's ...I've never been that kind of sick and for soooo long. I really started to think something was seriously wrong. But yes ...you called it at 170. The losses I had all the way down 162 were due to being very sick...unfortunately not fat.

I remember your struggle fighting your set point last round. You kept hanging in there like a champ! I'm betting your body is going to break out of it at the start of next round. Good to see your stabilizing so well!!
