-1.0 Day 1 500 calories. Feeling better today just have and mild tummy ache that just won't go away. I still say eating some saltines would help the recovery of this flu bug but I'm not willing to take any chances. Soooooo I'm a bit stumped here on what kind of weight loss I've had the past 3 days and what to expect. What I can say is that I believe the bigger than my normal loses the past 3 days are more than likely directly due to the flu. With little to no food staying in my body it's what one would lose fasting. I don't think it's a HCG "fat" lose. So what to expect with my weight? Will it jump back up as soon as I return to normal? Of course this happens right when I'm transitioning into a planned interruption so I won't get to see the results continuing this round. It was a painful way to lose weight so I certainly wouldn't be mad if it stayed away. I really don't know what to expect?!?!? Anybody have any thoughts or experience with this? Meanwhile I'm just going to keep transitioning to P3, eat mindfully until next Monday (return to P2) and see what happens.

I don't I think you will just have to be the one to experiment for us. I find that my body holds onto everything it can when I am sick and I never lose.

Thank you April. You know, I've read some older post of people's weight not changing when sick because of inflammation etc... It would be great if the 2.4 drop was just an overdue whoosh. I really want to celebrate getting in the 60's club but I'm going hold off a that bit. Meanwhile I'll keep following the rules and see what happens.

Thanks Jessie!! I really LOVE baking, and trying different recipes. Friends have told me I should open my own business, I've toyed with the idea. Just don't know if I'd handle it physically. Still really tempted, though

Thanks, Charlie! Here's a pic of the inside of the coconut cake, you can see the pie in each layer. The line on the left is from a dowel I used for support
