Jessie - so sorry your not feeling well again. If it doesn't settle down you may want to give your body a break it may just need to catch up to all your success this last year.

Mandy - great start. I get the rogue side the hard part is reigning it in when you step over the line but I am definitely not strictly 100% POP

April - Almost there, it dropped of nicely looks like you'll see the 150's shortly.

Blue - that windshield wiper issue sounds dangerous - we have had two weeks of rain here which is pretty much unheard of in South Texas it has been crazy. Sounds like the pups eat gourmet

AFM - down to only .6 over the window didn't do anything crazy just watched my foods will keep that up and see if it drops off. I don't want to have to do drastic I want to learn to control with good habits. Busy week with work and hockey trying to get budgets done and schedules released.

Looking forward to fajita trio special. Lots of steak shrimp and chicken with greasy peppers and onions. Might be back up tomorrow. It is ok I have been looking forward to this. When i am on P4 i usually do same meal but add a few spoons of black beans and rice. No tortillas. I dont really like flour tortillas anyway so no loss

Good morning! Well, we have HEAVY heavy rain here in CT. Its forecasted for the next couple days as Florence moves through. Looks like everyone is working what they need to in order to move forward, too.

Mandy, I may have my sister-in-law check out 2.0 if she starts struggling. She and brother are a bit of foodies, so I'm getting a back up plan ready if she needs it.

AFM, I'm. 8 up from LIW but not concerned at all. I find the fluctuations fascinating during P3, honestly. Before hcg, I just never realized what all my body was doing. I never, ever weighed, didn't even own a scale. I just went by how my clothes fit. Of course, then I started making excuses when they got tight, like all of a sudden they were shrinking in the wash (yeah, riiiiiiiiight). Oh well, live and learn.

Diesel, yeah, I'm refusing to drive my car in the rain until I KNOW the wiper issue is fixed. Somehow, they lost the appointment for yesterday. I've already received the confirming call from the service tech for today, though. Course, today it's raining heavy - hope he has a big umbrella! No cover for the car here in CT except big pine trees!

    Good morning, Lovelies.

It sounds like even those struggling are maintaining a positive attitude!

VLCD 20 in progress here. I've been hovering up and down within 0.6 pounds for over a week. Kinda weird. But I'm losing inches and can see where some fat has melted away. It's all good. Sunday will be P3D1 when I leave for a 3 day work trip to Mexico. I'll take my handy, little travel scale and pray that I don't have to try to do a correction day there.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I don't even know what my "real" weight is anymore after dealing with 10 days of stomach issues followed by maybe 4-5 good days before flaring up again. My loses are mostly from not eating and dehydration. While I want to stay on course and see this round through to a final "real" number I also desperately want to feel normal again. It's a bit confusing because I think because we eat super clean on HCG that it would be a good thing with stomach issues. I haven't taken my HCG this morning because a part of me is seeking normalcy. Stubborn me won't give up. Can it hurt to stay on HCG? Is HCG a contributing factor of what's going on with me? I'm so frustrated and sad to give it up right now. It can't hurt to stay on it ...right?

Honestly, you might be better off in P3. At a minimum, you'll have a much broader list of foods to have so you can find something you're able to handle well. If you're sick, not eating, and dehydrated, your weight needs to be 2nd on your priority list. Get healthy, and come back at it later. PLUS, being on P2 you're already boarding on protein deficient - you neeeeeed protein to heal!!

Wow Blue thank you!! I just googled protein/healing and didn't know that on that level. That really confirms that I need to let go of this and give my body what it needs to heal. I really thought I was back on track by last Friday but all it took was a steak meal to send me spiraling down again. So I'm done done and I will have to somehow accept what my body does with the weight. If it would grace me and stay out of the 70's I would be grateful!

It's been wacky for so long I don't even know how to gage a true LIW! I went from PMS, TOM, FLU/IBS. FLU/IBS is not confirmed but I have had the same symptoms. The gastro doctor couldn't diagnose it and just said he thought I was some kind of bug.

Yesterday LIW 165.2/164.4. I weighted twice back to back yesterday because I didn't remember what the .digit was.

Hi all! Introducing myself. I'm on vlcd 9, doing drops and the hcg 2.0 protocol. Things are going well so far. I'm over 6 lbs down - not sure since I weigh in 1-2 times per week. I'm feeling great and sleeping awesome. Looking forward to chatting with you all and hearing about your journey.

I know for me I am only doing a short round, but I get ok with all losses are good losses and so for, I see myself going a big more rogue, not a total cheat..but for example I have half and half in my coffee, maybe a little less than I would if I was not on hcg. I had some 2% milk in coffee at work yesterday afternoon. I do not weigh and I mixed some veggies yesterday. My losses so far are probably just water, but the are psychologically motivating. Yeah..I think the facebook groups are run by providers or HCG suppliers and they do not follow the at least on the basic premise the original protocol. Then people get upset mostly when they cannot stabilize and when give some advise someone pops in and gets mad. When I challenged in a supportive way someone about Peanut Butter not being a good P3 choice, I was taken off the page and when I PM'd the admin about it, they just ignored me. Funny...Also they are super into air frying a ton of food and use CO during P2, which is something I would never even do on P2.
Thanks! I agree, everyone is different. I never would have gone rogue like this when I was new to HCG (I wouldn't have been brave enough!), but multiple rounds made me feel more comfortable, and food aversions sort of forced it. My first 2 rounds in 2010 were POP, but I didn't really lose any better. I had a little less to lose then than now, but not overly so. Geez, that makes me realize how much my weight has yoyo-ed in the past 8 years. Ugh. I vowed to get off the yoyo train, then jumped back on about 6 months ago. Not too happy with myself there... Oh well -- onwards!

I totally agree with the FB groups and not following protocol at all, then having issues. I finally left the 2.0 group because it just got frustrating seeing 80% of the women on there who clearly had dosage issues (I think, because they're using an HCG patch that 2.0 Dr. advertises, and it's hard to measure a dose), who were being given advice like "add electrolytes", "wear two patches for 3 days", and other nonsense advice. While I've strayed from the OP for my own personal reasons, I still value it, and use a lot of the procedure (I just add different foods. Ha!).

Welcome! I'm doing the 2.0 protocol as well (mostly... I use the expanded food list, but don't eat all my protein calories. It's just too many grams of protein. And I skip the MCT and other oils). Hope all continues to go well for you!
