    I was pretty hungry yesterday. I am not sure if it was out boredom or actual hunger. It was very low level, not starving but I ended up have a snack in the morning and the afternoon of protein and it still was ok. Still having one small square of Lily's chocolate after dinner and everything it still good. Hoping to hit the 140's by early next week. My last injection is on Oct 6th. I have a baby shower that day. I am not too worried as I will be very close to my LIW and i can push through. I don't usually struggle at those things as I am not a huge party social eater. If they have wine then I might want something, but then it will be so close to the finish line I will have a goal to stay on target to keep my LIW where I want it. Each afternoon I think maybe one drink, then each morning I am happy that I did not.

    Right now my weekend is free from contract work..but you never know what today will hold and as much as I would like to not have any..I like the extra money. My son passed his written test for his driving permit so we will head down to the DMV after school and hope to get an actual permit...white knuckle driving here we come.

    LIW is lowest injection weight. This is the number you are going to stabilize at for P3. I would highly suggest that you read Pounds and Inches. It is a free manuscript if you have not. Alot will be answered in that. That is the bible so to speak for this diet and it allows you to understand why and when you do things. I cannot really tell on here what day you are on and how long you are going. It sounds like PM got you figured out on the averages. If you have not exerccised before then you are not supposed to pick up anything new. The most I would do is some light walking if you are not already in a routine. My best losses are my laziest days. I worry that your consultant is not really versed on what to do.

    A steak day is only for P3 and only when you are over your 2LB window from LIW. An apple day I think is for P2 but it is for a stall when you have not had losses for a certain amount of days it may help, but most and even the book says it is not that effective. The best thing in P2 is stay the course. Get in your protein and you 500 calories if you are doing OP and whatever your protein cals are in if you are doing 2.0. I did OP for 4 rounds (3 in 2012..then life got stressful and the first round this summer) and have switched to the 2.0. There is a book for that also that you can get on amazon.

    The best thing to do is read these books. come here often and ask questions and take what your consultant says with a grain of salt.

    Thatís okay as long as what they have you do works. But it does make it harder for those used to the original protocol or the updated 2.0 protocol to know what to tell you without contradicting your consultant.

    Pearly, an apple day is for P2 per original protocol if youíve had a stall (no weight loss) for 4 days or longer. You are correct that a steak day is for P3.

    Good morning!

    I've been mia the past week but I'm back. Sounds like you are all doing really well! Keep up the great work.

    ASF, I'm on vlcd 19. Woo hoo. I had a bit of a rough week loss wise. Mentally - things still feel great and this has been an easy round. However, my losses have really slowed down. I lost 2.3 over the last week. I'm trying not to complain too much as I'll take every single ounce. I think cauliflower stalled me so I won't be eating any more of that. Sad - baked, crispy rice cauliflower was delicious. Hopefully my losses will pick up to the average .5 per day so I can finish strong (I'm thinking two more weeks at this point). Fingers crossed I've found the culprit and the losses will increase. My pants are fitting so much better and cheers to that.

    Morning,
    Down to only 1/2 pound over LIW so the window is narrowing. I ended up taking today off work for a mental health day. I have been going like crazy and feeling stressed so decided I needed a quiet me day.

    Blue - that sucks. There is definitely an issue with insurance. I know folks try to compare to Canada (and being Canadian Iíve experienced both) but overall I prefer the US system just not the racquet the insurance companies have going. If they just charged what it actually cost maybe the deniers would result.

    Happy Friday everyone.

    Just got home, had to drive an hour and 20 minutes to docs in the rain, then back and stop at drugstore for meds. One that was supposed to be sent from GI doc last week never was, and I'm out, so left them a vm and sent email. Gosh, I'm so over chasing around after meds! I had Obamacare up until last December, then started Medicare. Frankly, I'd be $$ ahead on Obamacare! Medicare isn't free, between it and my drug plan, I'm $200 out of pocket monthly just for premiums. Plus the previous coverage was soooo much better.

    P4D5, 1# over LIW and that's just fine LOVELY LOSERS 2018 - Slim & Sexy in SEPTEMBER!!! I'm basically having whatever I want, trying to keep it balanced while reducing fats if I'm having processed carbs. I'm NOT eating junk, so it's all healthy. Having pork sirloin steaks tonight with sweet potatoes and some broccoli I think. Tomorrow maaaaaay be chili night, I've been getting hungry for it now that the weather's getting cool. May make some whole wheat cinnamon scones this afternoon, I love scones!

    We will see what happens I have 7 more days of P2. I only need to lose 5 pounds to get to where I would be ok. I will look at my numbers on day 7 and make a decision on where I am. I put on some pants that I would really want to get into. They buttoned but lets just say I not well. I believe I wore them when I was at my best and my more comfortable place. I am ok with stopping this round not in them and then coming back to it in Jan. I think that I feel pretty realistic about letting my body adjust to the process instead of pushing it, but If I am teetering in 7 days at the 150 mark, then maybe or maybe not I will go a few more days. I may know more when I see my doc on Monday and I talk to him about the testosterone and coming off the hcg and what will happen. if it will get back into range.

    Good luck discussing with your doc, I hope you find out it will come back in range once off the hcg. The scale numbers can be very deceiving for how your clothes fit! Especially on this protocol. I find I wear a smaller size at a higher weight than on other weight loss programs.

    AFM, didn't weigh this morning, frankly, felt like a rebel and just really didn't want to. Not good, huh. Well, tomorrows another day. Today hubby and I went and picked fresh raspberries and apples for the first time ever. I just made a lovely batch of sugar free whole wheat raspberry scones. Yes, I had one and they are delicious Making a big pot of chili for supper, I've been really hungry for it. Likely, I won't have any more and will freeze a container for hubby to have in a couple weeks. He loves leftovers. Monday night plan is canning about twelve pints of applesauce. I'll take to FL with us and give with Christmas gifts Tomorrow we're going to a pub and watching football with a bunch that root for hubbies team. It'll be a lot of fun, though one guy tends to be really loud and STAY really loud the entire time. Frankly, I can do without that but the rest is pretty enjoyable.

    How is everyone else doing??

    Nervous I will not make it into the 140's by the end of this round, I guess it will be what it is. I have already resigned myself to another round in Jan so it is fine. In reality I have only lost 9 pounds since the end of my last round, but I look over my numbers and I have consistently come down. I have been averaging about .5 a day, so with that said my guess is I will hit 149/150 by the end of this round..not great, but all losses are good losses and I can be ok with that. I don't think it is the change in protocol but maybe it is, but at the same time I feel better doing this 2.0 protocol mentally so I think that is ok. I don't feel deprived at all.

    Oh and the scale did flash onto a 152 number but settled here...so I think I will def. hit 152ish by tomorrow.

    April, as long as you're steadily going down, all is good! Remember, too, the closer you are to your goal weight it seems the slower the losses become. There's just not as much to lose!

    AFM, meh, feeling very blah this morning. The rheumy started me on a new med for my fibromyalgia pain. A side effect is drowsiness, so I take it before bed. Great, but it seems to hang on in the morning. Another side effect can be weight gain. Geez, do you have any idea how many drugs list weight gain as a side effect? I received my hcg patches yesterday. Now just have to make up my mind if I wanna dive into a short round before Thanksgiving. I may, I hate hate hate the weight I'm at.
