Down -1.0 this morning. TOM's side effects have left the building! Ate avocado instead of the usual coleslaw for dinner yesterday. My body probably appreciated the change.

I'll be back to catch up with everyone later today...

AFM: I'm down 1.8 from my last weigh-in, so I'm happy. About 2 lbs. under LDW. I even had cereal and pasta yesterday! Well, it was a gluten free pasta thing with kale but still! I had cereal for breakfast, which I may add in about once a week. Lunch will be a Danactive drink thing and maybe something else. Dinner is chicken and cauliflower. SO glad my 4 day eating fiasco last weekend didn't throw me off track. Sometimes even just a taste will send me spiraling :/
It's really good to see you doing so well! Inspiring! It's working...yay !!

My LIW was 130.3 (kilos, not pounds, before yíall get all excited, ha!) Actually dropped to 129.9 - so new number excitement! And... up to 131.8 again with ovulation and carbs. It took me 9 days to lose enough to make up for the water retention.

My coach does not want me to get excited about these numbers, but canít help it - I am at 129.7 today, lowest I have been. And again, back to those nice new shiny numbers.

Coach finally (!) gave me calorie and macros goals that I like. Well, I was ignoring the ones he gave me before. Sorry Coach. He now dropped me another 400kcal, but I have to promise to actually try and reach these. Pfffff. But they are reachable, at least.

Psychologically, I am happy to stay below a calorie goal, and really unhappy trying to eat up to one. 2500kcal was just not happening on my current balanced self-cooked meals. 2070 now, which I can make... but I am already eating less vegetables than before, since even for those numbers, I need more starchy carbs.... and yeah, letís be honest, I like those a whole lot better than veggies. Most of my days so far are 1700-2000.

Coach also upped my steps a bit, which will be easy - we have killer weather, and I have a yard which needs a lot of work. Need to actually make my kettlebells, slacked on those a bit. And so it continues... well, hopefully it does go downward.
Yay GLC...congrats on shinny new number ...it's such a pick me up!! Your definitely the one to watch here... a little time is all you need and it's done and done LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - Altogether we're AWESOME IN APRIL!!!!

    Hey all

still holding steady weight wise around 150. I still would like to get back down to the low 140's or high 130's. I am getting a testosterone pellet today and will have a lab draw tomorrow for my thryoid to see if things are getting into check with the naturethroid. I will give it a few months and see. I am sure my dose needs to be upped. I am on 1.5 grains and the PA thought I would probably need 2 grains to keep my TSH where is was plus get the t3 up. Once that is in check, I am hoping to see a drop in the weight, but I have been eating well, not paying much attention and staying steady which is good.

This week my dog was very sick..he has been in the hospital for three days, he has type 1 diabetes so he will come home I think today with two injections a day..so I have a type 1 dad, a type 1 son and now a type 1 dog.

April: We have the same goal! I'd love the 130's but I'm right at 150 right now too. Hopefully you can get your dosage figured out and hope your dog gets better!

I just got good news from my landlord about my lease so it's a good day!
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round: P2 starts 08/06/19
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 148.0

    Hi everyone,

I have been here before, about 7 years back when I lost #90. I have maintained and done well all this time, mostly being keto as this works really well for me. Any higher carb and all things go haywire. My goal weight was always 150 but I stabilized at 160 without having to fight my body. Well, I kind of let myself go, thinking I could eat what I wanted and need to lose some weight again. This method works so well when you need to lose more than 5-10 lbs so here I am, hoping to lose 25. I may do 2 3 week rounds with an interruption in between because of Easter and I'd like to eat eggs and bacon (our Easter is 4/28). We'll see. I may use these 3 weeks as a jumpstart and continue with keto as I did after my two rounds last time.

It is all oddly familiar and comforting I love the rules, the discipline, and the simplicity of this way of eating. I had to refresh on a couple of things but I think I got it. I did 2 6 week rounds last time so I guess that helps. Tonight's dinner was caramelized onion with chicken and 1/2 grapefruit with a little stevia sprinkled on top. I tried uploading a picture but it wouldn't let me. Plating and enjoying food is everything! OK, it's a lot I was fortunate last time that I did well on beef and tomato so I will definitely make my favorite meal: beef with cabbage, tomato, chili and cilantro. Cabbage goes such a long way. There is also one dish I am so looking forward to and that is the Dijon mustard chicken. It is so good. I actually make this for my family every now and then as they like it too. Strawberries and Dutch cocoa powder with some stevia and 1T of milk is also such a great comfort in P2.

Difference with last time: I am now weightlifting and conditioning 3x/week. I have no idea how this will go. Anyone else here doing this while on HCG with success? This is not new exercise to me. I have been doing it for a year.

Another difference that so far has proven to be awesome: non-stick copper pan! OMG awesome. I don't like using Teflon coated ones and so we don't have them. I used a Foreman grill before and needed to scrub out quite some pans on occasion... but these pans are awesome.

Oh and another difference: I am now post-menopause. No TOM Oh man, this is going to be good!

Another question: Has anyone substituted the cottage cheese for non-fat yogurt? I don't plan on eating it more than once or twice so it won't be a big deal if it makes me stall. I may eat it more if it makes me lose though, ha.

Oh, I have always used HCG Triumph with success This is day 2 of P2. Cheers everyone! I am going to read up and try and get to know who is who.

Have you tried Dutch cocoa powder with some stevia? I mix it with water/1T milk and pour it over strawberries. Always hit the spot when the chocolate craving came up!

ETA: I read some use Libby's. Is that something for P2? It is a lot of fat.

Still enjoying eating the same foods. No issues with missing carbs and sugar for now. Curious to seeing how my body reacts to consuming cake in a couple of weeks.

My husband is leaving the veterinary office with our favorite child, black ****er spaniel. He took him in this morning because it appeared he wasn't feeling well. He wasn't responded to stuff like he normally does (ie no tail wags, eating, playing etc). As soon as they got to the vet the dog turned happy. $125 later, vet said he has the cleanest ****er spaniel ears he's ever seen and all is good. (He was due for blood work in June so they went ahead and took it). The kids were out of school this week on Spring Break which interfered with doggies nap schedule. Seriously?!?!

    Have a great day all!!
