    I can't believe it's August already!!

So glad to see everyone starting new rounds. I'll be starting on Monday, so loading this weekend. I'm only getting a couple things at the store to use during loading and the rest will be take-out. Plenty of eggs, ice cream, etc. I'm hoping to go long enough to lose 20 lbs. but I'd be content with 15. Last round I went just past 21 days I think so that's usually what I stick with. I really want this to be my last round but life happens
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 146.8
    LDW: 147.0

We are in the month of August!! My calendar is already filling up! Several different gatherings going on this month, which means times of Super Willpower will be needed!
So far I've made it thru 3 days of no cheating- ha! I went down another 1.2lbs....Yippee!! Like I said, I love the first week. I know the weight loss will slow down now, and I am ok with that.

I started walking a couple of days ago as I use to walk daily but I've been a "slacker" the last couple of months. I'm not going overboard since I really don't want to feel too weak. I may add an extra protein here & there if I do.

So cool to see some different names in the group. I know what you mean about getting rid of clothes, Nat....Unfortunately for me, I got rid of bigger clothes & haven't had much to wear at my current weight! I guess that is extra incentive for me.

Keep standing FIRM to reach your goal!!

Hey all, welcome to August! NOOOOO. I just love Summer and it is counting down. One of our school districts started today! Yikes! My family's kiddos start next week. Unbelievable. I am so not ready for summer to be over. I still have a couple of pairs of summer slacks I haven't gotten into yet!

I'm up a tick, just point 2 but it puts me at 136. Dang. Just fluctuation. But I'd rather fluctuate DOWN! LOL.\

    Keep at it all!

    LIW -- 167.4, VLCD1 - 167.4, VLCD 2 - 166.6
    P3 Day 1 -- 167.4
    P3 Day 2 -- 167.8
    P3 Day 3 -- 168.8
    P3 Day 4 -- 168.4

Down .4, still retaining water for that TOM. Be glad when it's over, because I want to be sure I'm stabilizing at my right weight. Especially since I'm enjoying gobs of fat! I estimate that I'm consuming on average 80g to 120g of fat daily. It's a lot, I know. But 95% of it comes from MCT oil and organic ghee butter. I wouldn't be surprised if my body's experiencing ketosis, even though I'm not trying. My goal is definitely to stabilize. But now I see how easy it is to get so many grams of fat if I ever did try the keto diet.

HCGPRO -- Good luck with your round!!!

GEMGIRL -- Hang in there! You'll be just fine! Lovely losses, so far!

PEARLYMAE -- Definitely enjoying summer as well. I'm more amazed that this year is almost gone already! Time is flying like crazy!

Thanks, LL! This summer is going so fast! Ugh! My 'summer' vacation is 4 days in September, so maybe that is why. No break to stretch it out.

Staying pretty close to LIW, as well. Yesterday up point 2, today, down point 4, so back into 135. All good. There are times when I think I should lose 10 more and get back to 125---but not sure that it is worth it!

    Onward!

I feel like giving up. Major set back yesterday with carbs and vodka. I've been so overwhelmed with finances and trying to balance everything in life. I feel like crying right now. I didn't weigh in today. I'm not sure if my dosing is right. In the past, I've usually taken 9 drops/3x a day (instructions say 10/3x a day). Maybe I should skip and see? I can't remember how that works.
All I want to do is hide under the covers.

Natalie: It'll be ok. We all have times like that and we've all been there. Don't give up! You'll get back on track. Are you having hunger issues? If you are, try skipping a day and see how you feel toward the evening on your skip day. If you're less hungry, try decreasing your dose. If you're more hungry, try increasing it. I swear, each round I have a different dose for seemingly no reason.

Natalie, carb (or any cravings) can be dose related, even if you are not feeling hungry.

The suggested dose for hhcg drops of 10 drops, 3 X a day can be on the low side for a lot of people. I find it kind of odd. hhcg providers seem to underdose, and RX clinic providers seem to overdose.

If you can handle it and you want to be sure, skip your first two doses today, and if you notice cravings are worse by evening, that means you need to increase.

Please don't give up---whatever the problem is, it can be fixed.

Natalie -- Don't give up! Keep pushing, and you'll get back in the groove of it before you know it. Slip ups happen, but we move "onward" (as PearlyMae says... lol..) I'm not 100% original protocol, so your might not care for how I did things, but I chose not to weigh my meats. I'm almost positive I got at least 500 calories in my protein alone! I started off doing strawberries and apples, but I read somewhere that the sugar and carbs can contribute to cravings, so I decided to remove the fruit, and lo and behold, no more cravings. I'm not sure how the dosing part works with hhcg, but Leez gives the best advice! Just don't give up, love!

Pearly -- Doing good staying close to LIW. Glad you're back down. The more weight I lose round over round, and the closer I get to my goal weight, the harder the rounds get for me. Usually, I make it to this point, try another round, but can barely keep up with it. So I know what you mean, thinking about getting another 10 off.

    P3 Day 3 -- 168.8
    P3 Day 4 -- 168.4
    P3 Day 5 -- 166.0

So, based on my dramatic drop today, I'm convinced that my body is in a state of ketosis. Yeah, the water weight from TOM is gone, but I'm a whole 1.4 lbs smaller than my LIW! I shouldn't allow my body to go in a state of ketosis, but I'm in love with this Bulletproof coffee, though! lol... As much as I would love to see my weight continue to drop, I'm trying to do things the right way and allow my weight to stabilize, so I'm going to implement a little corrective action to keep my weight from steadily declining. I'm going to go ahead and add fruit. The sugar should throw me off ketosis.

Fruit takes me down a slippery slope, though -- with the sugar and the potential for me to snack for no reason -- so I'm going to make my avocado & banana smoothie and see how my body reacts to that. I'm not a big banana fan, so I know I can have bananas in my home and not start snacking for no reason. It's the one fruit I know I'll use for the smoothie only. Strawberries -- on the other hand -- I'll eat the entire container in one setting! So, bananas it is. I'm curious to see how my weight will change (if at all) tomorrow.

Oh, Natalie, look at all the care pouring out over you! You got a BuNCH of great advice and loving concern.

When there are so many distractions, whether it is job, finances, relationships, etc. etc. ETC. it can be hard to concentrate on a diet. HOWEVER, I think that is the ONE thing we can do to help ourselves in such circumstances because it is the only thing, sometimes, over which we have control! It helps in times of stress to have One Thing that is yours to control and from which you can derive satisfaction and success!

This diet is not about punishment or scarcity or deprivation. It is about CHOOSING healthy. There is not one bite that you have to eat that isn't lovely. Ripe juicy strawberry, grilled to perfection chicken breast or just right piece of fish, fresh garden lettuces with perfect grape tomatoes and crisp cucumbers. etc. etc. If you are depriving yourself of taste, satisfaction and joy in your P2 food.... do better! Turn on that STOVE and get creative!

Hey! ONE day of carbs and vodka is NUTHIN in the scope of your LIFE, baby. (or two days or ten or eight years!) So ya fell off the diet wagon! Welcome to the club. Roll around in the mud puddle I left behind from my tears and distress last time, will ya? Get good and coated and dirty and SPRAWL in it. Then go take a hot shower and guess what: That next minute: It's a new one. New Start. New Minute. Build on it and ya got a NEW DAY. And it is ALL YOURS to do what you like.

Naaah. Don't let one bad day be an excuse for another one.

You got this. You may not have other things in hand, but somehow when you get ONE thing rolling along, other things tend to roll along with it!

Go wash your face, sweetie and have a beautiful rest of your day!

    We have to go

    ONWARD

whether we want to or not. Might as well enjoy the trip!
