VCLD3. Woke up to a nice 1.3 lb loss. You gotta love that first week!

I just made some pesto with basil my son grew...and I had to lick my fingers to check for salt levels. Oh yum.

Hope everyone has a good Labor Day Weekend. I can't help but think this would be an excellent time to load!

Yay evah buddy! Lots of losses going on.

Me, too! Finally a whoosh. Down 1.4 today! Thatís almost always my pattern after the first week: 2or 3 days of nothiní followed by a whoosh. In the end I usually end up losing the average of half a pound a day, so I have to be Patient.

Gotta mix today cuz Iím totally out!

    Onward!

    Happy Saturday Lovelies,

Holiday weekend and I'm avoiding everything and everyone. A friend came into town as a surprise and wanted to get lunch out despite my offer to cook so I spent a fortune on romaine and grilled chicken 😪 I was finally below load weight today at 150.8 too.

    Onward I guess...

    Round 1, P2: 187 to 168
    Round 1, P3: 166 stable

    Round 2, P2: 168 to 156
    Round 2, P3: 155 stable

    Round 3, P2: 163 to 149

Yay! Pretty Girl. Way to inspire us all!

I feel your pain, Xexy. I did the same last week.

Iím down point 4. A small but significant loss as it means I kept all of yesterdayís woosh and lost a bit more. I weighed late yesterday so was happy to see any loss and no gain at closer to regular time.

Family BBQ today and I was tasked w bringing sweet corn. Made a special trip to the store at 8 last night, shucked a black lawn bag full of husks, and will dutifully arrive with lovely Olathe Sugar and Cream fresh sweet corn. Which I wonít eat. Sigh.

    But 133.6. Thatís incentive!

    VLCD5 and bored Lovelies.

By next week chicken will make me nauseous but I tend to have good losses with beef so it's all good. 149 today and happy to be below starting weight in the first week.

VCLD4 and a solid 1 lb loss. It's so easy to get used to these big drops and not so easy to adjust when they become dribbles.

Xexy, I'm with you on being bored. My husband is traveling, my calendar is very clear for a three week period, I am in the right headspace and I saw this as a great opportunity to do at least a 21 day round if not more. I really don't want to socialize and have knocked back a few invitations this long weekend, but sheesh, it's so boring.

I did go to the nursery today to buy some chrysanthemums. I have Mandevilla in containers on my balcony that have some creeping crud and are dying, so I thought I would replace them with chrysanthemums. I bought some gorgeous plants, but then it started to rain, so that was the end of gardening for today. The person at the nursery also recommended pansies as an autumn flower. I never knew that.

    Happy losing everyone!

Good morning everyone! Had a busy Sat. with a trip to Indiana taking my MIL & her sister to a 90th bday party. Such beautiful weather and gorgeous cloud show! I did well, but the nuts call my name and I ate them! That small amount could account for my little loss for my weeks total of only 1.6lbs, but I lost! ha! Down 1.6 for the week for a total of 13.2. That was week 5 and I am a slow steady loser, but glad it's not a slow steady gain!

Have a great labor day holiday & I hope you are all safe from this nasty hurricaine coming through!

    Week 1 -7.0
    Week 2 -1.4
    Week 3 -2.2
    Week 4 -1.0
    Week 5 -1.6

Slow & steady wins the race!

Yes, Gem, slow and steady does win the race. I am not losing as quickly as some, nor as quickly as I have in the past. But I am really seeing some reshaping going on, that I donít always see when I lose quickly.

I tried on three summer dresses that I have not been able to wear this year, and all three have enough room around the hips and belly to swing back-and-forth. All summer they have been hung up on the old jelly doughnut.

No loss today, but no gain! And of course I had some of that corn. I had an end that was less than a quarter of a year, because, you know, sweetcorn only comes around once a year and tis the season! But when I put it in my fitness pal, it was only seven carbs! So even though it wasnít protocol, it wasnít terrible. I think I ate appropriately otherwise. But still, one bite here one taste there, it couldíve been bad! So I am very pleased with my 0 0.00.

    Onward!

VLCD5. A loss of 0.4, just to get me ready for week 2.....

Beautiful day here. I seem to have plenty of energy, but the most taxing thing I did was go for a 20-minute walk around the block with the dog. Oh, and I pulled out the dying Mandevillas from their pots. Got surprisingly sweaty doing that! I was instructed to turn the soil and then let it dry out before planting the chrysanthemums, so that will be tomorrow's job. Can you tell I have too much time on my hands?

Tomorrow will be a test on energy levels when I go to exercise class. I normally do MWF, but with the holiday I'm forced to do TWF. I don't know how 2 days in a row will be, but I hope the energy holds out.

Gem and Pearly: nuts and corn! I'm always surprised how forgiving HCG can be, as long as it isn't a blowout. Stopping with small amounts is the hardest part of course.
