Long-neck Ice Cold Diet Ginger Beer broke my heart....

Well, I honestly don't know why that would do it, but I am up .8 and that was all I had that was different. Honestly, I've had it before, so probably not. IDK. I was so good yesterday I actually expected a nice loss and was pretty WHOT???? when I stepped on the scale.

Well, let's see what tomorrow brings!

I'm sad but I realize that I cannot do this round yet. I have been cheating sooooo bad and I'm tired of feeling guilty. I need to get my head in the game. I am down 6 pounds but continuing hcg and eating off protocol is not a good idea. UGH! I will lurk here and check in. I wish ya'll the best of the best. <3

Pearly: No idea what it could be...I know people who drink stuff like that in P2 and don't gain. Maybe inflammation? Water weight?

Natalie: I've felt the same way and quit within the first week or two. If you're not 100% ready, it's not worth it. Come back to it when you're able to and I know you'll do well Just try to eat P2 foods for the next couple days at least. That way you can keep that 6 lbs. off at least.

So...water heater broke this morning and now BF almost broke his ankle. What next??? I had to leave work and come back an hour later after I made sure he was ok. He has to work tomorrow and Saturday so hopefully he feels better but he was screaming in pain. NOT a good Thursday to say the least.

So I feel like I have been doing pretty good so far considering all the temptations around me. I really haven't been measuring my food or counting my calories which will more than likely make my weight loss slow down, but I'm ok with that for now.

I do have a question for you all.... have any of you eaten FFF (fat free ***e) on p2 with good results? I have some in my fridge that keeps glaring at me & I can't remember if I ate it before on p2 & if I did ok.

Natalie!!! Oh, girl, I understand all to well the struggle that you are in now. That's why I decided I couldn't do it alone & had to get back in the forum so I feel I'm being held somewhat accountable. That's my way to keep my head in it. I also have to be ready in my mind to do this as well. It may take some time, but I know you will be back to tackle this again. Ya just pick yourself up & get back in the groove....

Pearly, I remember the day after a big loss from a steak day I always went up a few points for some reason. I tried to eat lighter- low carbs to, to try and keep my weight in check. Found it helped me.

hcg, the closer I got to a goal weight the less I seemed to lose when I started a round. I remember the first time I started, I lost 10# in the first week! Haven't done it since. 7# is a good loss the first week for me. Helps "psych me up!"

You all have a wonderful day!

Gem: My losses always slow down too. I think 1 lb. a day in the first week is good! I usually lose between 10-15 total in a short round so I'm good with half that being in the first week lol I haven't tried FFF in P2 because I don't like plain yogurt but I know a lot of people have it with good losses still. I may try a plain greek yogurt other than F**e and see if it works in smoothies.

I ordered some Walden Farms caramel dip. Hopefully it's good...and if it is, it'll save my plain apples! HCGChica had it on her website and a lot of people on Amazon think it's good minus the weird aftertaste that most Walden Farms products have. They have a caramel syrup too that I might try.

retired here!!! and that's in more ways than one!
I finished phase 2 with a loss of 10 lbs...but not very many inches gone. I'll do P3 and as Pearly does that's pretty much how it rolls for me. I have some drops left from Triumph and may decide to use them later in the fall....BUT I REALLY don't want to do HCG again. So I need to find out if something is wrong medically and if not then figure out why all of this weight is in my middle. I'm still concerned that I've done too many failed rounds and that has messed with my metabolism.

I do feel a bit better so that's a good thing! I wished I liked/enjoyed exercising but to me it's a 4 letter word that starts with an h.

Low carb is not hard for me except for the red wine. I'm trying to think of a veggie I don't like...maybe cooked spinach...I'm not a big fan of kale. Also I'm not a 'cook' but a 'fixer of something to eat'....not fast foods or prepared foods but chicken, some red meats but no fish. Love salads and have learned to use vinegar and in a few days vinegar and oil.

    Well enough for this post.

    love to all...r

Retired: 10 lbs. is still good! If you did a short round that's on target for about 1/2 lb. per day. It wouldn't harm anything to get checked out though and make sure there's nothing wrong.

AFM: I'm 151.8 today, so 4.2 lbs. down in the first 3 VLCD's. I have to wait until (hopefully) today to get the new water heater installed. The guy wasn't going to be able to do it 'til like 7 or 8 last night and that didn't work for me. Hopefully he can do it earlier today. I feel pretty good today. No real hunger issues so I think my dose is alright. I'm doing 9 drops 3x per day. My last VLCD will hopefully be 8/29. I really just want to get into the low 140's or crack into the 130's if I can.

    Good morning, Lovelies!

Retired, I've sometimes noticed inches moving around in P3 even though the scale doesn't. Maybe that will happen for you. Fingers crossed!

After 4 days on FMD, I'm down 4 pounds. Not as fast as week 1 on HCG, but I'm enjoying it so far. My brain has to work a little harder to remember what I'm allowed/supposed to eat, so it's also keeping me busy. lol

    Hello all!

So I couldn't keep away from my scale & I am down another 1.6lbs so far this week and am so happy to have hit the 160's again! Still can't do the ticker think so I will just fuggedaboutit!!

Kar, what is FMD? Glad your losing on it, whatever it is- ha!
Pearly- Diet Ginger Beer? Hmmmmm…… so many different types of beers out there. Are you sure it doesn't have any sugar in it? Maltodextrin, sucrose, dextrose, any of those oses? I remember reading those can cause spikes in your blood sugars and possible weight gain. They are "fake sugars." Just a thought.
    Retired- Hang in there!
hcg- I sometimes go for long periods of times w/o eating. I think it's the hcg. I have to watch that I don't put my bod into starvation mode!

Welp, have a great day y'all! I have another "tempting" night ahead of me. A wedding!!!

    Kar! Congrats on FMD!

Retired! Yay! 10 pound is fantastic! IDK what may be causing touble with your middle if you have not had it before. MOST of us have middle troubles, as that is a natural place for fat to gather for women. But if that is new for you, one. GO YOU! and two. By all means go see if somethings up! Let us know!

Nat: If you are not ready, you are NOT READY. You can't do what you really don't want to. Hang around here some anyway. It does not have to be all or nothing.

Gem! You are doing great, and yes, it helps to have somewhere to go to be accountable and have someone understand what you are doing! Sooooo welcome!

Pro: You are killing it, as usual! Keep it up! (Sorry about the water heater. Remember when you were thinking of buying a house? Kinda glad you have a landlord who has to replace that water heater now?) LOL

So here is what is happening to me: I am gaining and I am not doing NUTHIN' I shouldna. The diet ginger beer was fine. I just had that song in my head driving to work with the Bobby Bones Show.

I have fought my circadian cycle my whole life, and I battle getting out of bed every single day. My (93-year old) Mom reminded me that she used to bring me a glass of orange juice before school and let me snooze for a half hour until it 'hit'. I know I am hypoglycemic, and for DECADES I popped a Pepsi first thing in the morning to get up. I sipped on it all morning. Now, I watch my sugar and am back to being a Walking Dead extra in the morning.

So my Mom suggested an orange before I get out of bed. I got a bag of those little Cuties oranges and for the past week, I've peeled and eaten one about an hour before my regular alarm goes off.

It helps. It helps a LOT. I am not jumping out of bed like a *&^%$# Morning Person, but I the torture is less.

    But I am gaining.

    NOOOOOOO.

Don't know for sure it is not just a fluctuation, but I am up another .4 today and ate fine yesterday.

IDK. Ya fix one problem, ya start another.

    It's always sumpthin!

Pearly: SO glad my landlord is paying for all this lol So far, I haven't had to pay for anything with the house which is nice. I've done some improvements to the house but nothing major. As for the oranges in the morning....maybe that'll help? I like peeling and freezing oranges then adding some water and blending them up. If you add a little milk it tastes just like an orange julius! You're still within your 2 lb. window so I wouldn't worry yet but if it keeps going up maybe there's something that needs to be adjusted.
