    It has been two days since my sad salty soup day that helped me gain 1.1 lbs..... And I have now lost 2.6 since then which puts me at a total loss of 10 lbs in my first 12 days from my original starting weight!

    Very happy about that, but the last couple of days I have been really *****y to my husband ( I will not disclose if he deserved it or not haha). Don't get me wrong, I am a straight forward kind of person and can seem *****y sometimes even when I am feeling nothing but happiness.... But this was a bazaar kind of *****y... even for me! I was questioning if it may be the HCG since it is a hormone.... But this diet requires so little of an amount I wouldn't think that it would affect emotions quite so much. Before I felt this unwelcome ***** demon, I felt the opposite since my first low calorie day! I have a slight chronic depression and it vanished completely for those days! (I guess it could also be pre-menopause creeping up)

    Also, hopefully someone will answer this question for me, but if you have multiple rounds to do; how long do you stay in phase 3? Do you stay in phase three till your next round and only do phase 4 when you have reached your total weight loss goal? Or do you still transition into phase 4 right before starting another round? I know I still have 30 more days to go before I do phase 3, but this is something that has been weighing on my mind. And is it OK to maybe go a few days beyond the 40-43 days for maybe a week extra? I know too much longer might not be a good idea but would just a week hurt me in the long run? Any thoughts?

    You count injections, not days, so If you do a skip day every week you can do 5 more days, but this includes your 2 loading days since you do injections on those days. In my opinion, an extra day or 2 past that won’t hurt either. I’ve done it before. You don’t want to push it too much though.

    If I'm doing multiple rounds I stay in P3 until the next round so I dont gain in between. As for the hormones...I'm with you. I feel like HCG makes me have an attitude I wouldn't normally have because I'm so focused on what I can and cant eat. Give him a break but sometimes they do deserve it haha

    I'm down 0.6 since Friday. A lot of traveling so I'll give myself a couple days before weighing again. I felt terrible today so I had a few sips of ginger ale. I feel better now but it was pretty bad. I'm trying to stick with it for the full 23 days.

    Hello everyone! Boy, it sounds like many of you have not been feeling to well! I'm good so far... Took those little ones back yesterday & really haven't had much time to rest. I had a weird day. I ate 3 hotdogs for lunch, I know, I know...and for dinner a grilled chicken salad. Doesn't sound like a good eating day. Funny thing is I hardly ever eat hotdogs, but the food selection at this benefit was not all that great. Hope it doesn't cause me to gain tomorrow.

    Anyway, this too shall pass and I'm not going to get all obsessed about it. So easy to do on this diet!

    Gem: You're 100% correct. I stress so much about food/my weight while in P2. Sometimes it's nice to just relax about it. Hopefully the hot dogs don't cause any gains but if they do, 1-3 days of clean P2 will get rid of it.

    I did weigh today and I'm kinda glad I did. After feeling horrible yesterday, I'm down 0.4. I've been eating a lot of soup but it's something I normally do in P2 for some reason. I just don't want anything else. I'm gonna get some low sodium Progresso chicken noodle soup and just sip on the broth and maybe eat some of the chicken.

    I have a doctor appt. today so that'll be fun (normal yearly woman appt.). I almost freaked out thinking the pregnancy test will be positive from the HCG but then I remembered someone said the HCG in drops isn't normally enough to make a test positive (unless it's RX maybe?). Just don't wanna freak anyone out unnecessarily lol

    Morning, Lovelies!
    (Notice I didn't say "good" morning.)
    I have been doing FMD (Haylie Pomroy's Fast Metablism Diet). Today is day 16 of 28. In the first 4 days I lost 4 pounds. Since then, I have been bouncing up and down within 1 more pound. So today I'm at the exact same weight that I was 12 days ago. I'm not happy.
    I am going to loosely follow the protocol another 12 days in case it actually is doing something to repair my metabolism.
    I'm probably looking at another round of HCG in October.
    Onward!

    Good morning all,

    Ya know i have have a new job and can't spend the time posting that I useta. I have to actually work, now! LOL. But just a quick check in. Personals later if I can.

    I started loading again today. I know, I am a full P3 and a week of P4 which is not quite enough P4, but I think I stopped too close to an old, very very strong set point at 138-139 and I've zooomed right back to it. I need to get MORE under it some in order to stabilize. This is not protocol, this is just me, thinking how my body works.

    I had a very good weekend, did not eat stuff I shouldna, a few casaba chips, but mostly kept carbs under 30 and good fats, protein. Not as many calories as P3. And I'm UP point 8. Ridiculous. I don't gain this fast on donuts!

    So, I have exactly 23 days until an out of town conference that I want to be able to wear some of my nicest clothes to, which right now do not fit without multiple layers of spanx, and then they rollllllll right down when I move. Not gonna do it! Not gonna happen! ANY loss at this point would help. I may need to do a PI for that weekend, as I will JUST hit 21 days and will have to do P3 eating when I should be still on P2 transitioning, and that will probably throw me off. But I will deal with that.

    I have worked too hard for six years to stay this size and I am not giving up now! It tried being gentler with my body and letting it have a few pounds and all that did is make it want more.

    So, I am 'cycling' back in. This is not to recommend this to anyone else, but I have done this before and done okay. I don't expect the big losses the first week, because coming back to it this soon is more an extended round than a bright shiny new one. But that is okay. Even at 2-3 pounds a week, I will get closer to where I am comfortable, which is just a snitch under 130, I am hoping.

    Thank you! I can't wait for phase 3 even if it is the whole 6 weeks.... I have heard it is harder than phase 2 though so I am definitely planning an awesome load day for my next round! I am glad its not only me that has an attitude.... I kind of actually like the bite it gives me.... No holding back, say what I want and mean it! I tried going easy on him, but he seems a lot more affectionate with me when I have an attitude.... I might have found something that could work well in my favor.... lol

    .6 isn't bad! I was feeling crappy yesterday, so I steeped thinly sliced ginger in boiling water and added a little stevia.... It is one of my favorite ways to make ginger tea but it helps a lot! How many rounds have you done?

    Weigh in day! I managed to go down another 2.2 lbs this week I am very happy about that! That makes 10.6 down at week 3. Tomorrow will officially be day 23 & I'm planning on hopefully going 40 days. That would lead me to Labor Day weekend. I know it's going to take me a couple rounds (or 3) to get where I want to be. I really want this to be the first time starting the new year & not be on a diet!!! Anyone ever been able to do that? haha!

    Kar- I think that is one diet that I have never actually tried before! I know I would be discouraged staying the same weight for 12 days!
    Pearl- Congrats on your new job! I sometimes go from P3 to P2 without doing P4 or I may have a short P4. It depends on how long I do P2. I've been know to do a 50 day one & at some point, I feel my bod just needs a long break.
    hcg- Thanks for the encouragement. I think my weight was stable over the weekend, so the dogs didn't seem to effect me much unless it stopped me from losing more!
    Lex- I feel P3 is harder too. More food choices & now you have more fats you can eat. Not even thinking about that phase at this point. Just trying to "enjoy" P2! ha!

    Lex: I love P3 after P2! P2 completely changes my mindset and I appreciate the healthy foods I can eat in P3 As for the attitude...if it works for you, go with it! lol I'm sure he can endure a few weeks of attitude

    Gem: Great job!! I hate how the losses slow down in weeks 2 and 3 usually but you've done great! To me, a successful round is 10+ lbs.

    AFM: I'm 147.0 again today. My doc was pleased that my weight is down from last year when I saw her. She said even if you lose 1 lb. a month it's progress! Little does she know, 1 lb. a month would kill me lol I know I've only been in P2 for a couple weeks but I feel like I'm dragging and so tired/weak. I know it's probably dose related and partially from not eating enough protein. I'm gonna try to truck along this last week but I'm not sure how much more I'll lose. If my LDW ends up being 147 I'm good for now. If I don't lose any more between now and New Year's, I'll just do another round then. I'll have to get more drops though. Maybe that's partially to blame too - my drops expire soon. I've done less than 21 VLCD's before and stabilized well (not that I would recommend it). I could also just do somewhat of a PI for a week then do another 1-2 weeks of P2 when I feel better. We'll see how it goes I guess!
