Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - ALL IN for August!!!!

    Gem: Yeah I cut this round short. I've done shorter rounds before and did fine, so hopefully that's the case now. I don't think I've ever had figs...is it like a prune? I love those!

    I'm up 0.8 today but that's ok. I probably overdid it last night for dinner. This morning I had 1 egg (fried) and 1 sausage patty (no sugar/nitrates). I'm not hungry at all. I've been sipping on chai tea with milk. Yum!

    BF had to go to the hospital yesterday due to heat exhaustion at work (he's a FF). He's home now, thank God, but it was still scary. For dinner I'm gonna try to keep it simple and quick since I'll either be at his place or will have to cook quickly at mine.

    Pro- scary! FF are HOT. LOL!

    Okay, down 1.2 from yesterday, so lost load weight and a tad more. I'll take it. I'm on track and not too hungry. I had a Drs. appt today so just got in to work. I brought some leftover veggies from last night's dinner--asparagus, onions and mini peppers, less than half a cup total--I mean, NOT MUCH, to eat with some baked chicken breast. But I ate them already! Saved my life. I do need to eat SOMETHING in the a.m. and I was in a hurry so though, oh, I'll be fine. heeheeeheee. So will have to run out at lunch and pick up a side salad somewhere for my chicken.

    Pearly: LOL Yes, they are Too bad he was hot in a bad way yesterday! I think eating in the AM helps me too. You should be alright with 2.0 eating a little more often too.

    Thank you guys for your input! I didn’t gain over all this week so I guess that’s good… Lost a little but I know I can do better. I decided that I am going to treat myself to my diet root beer 

    Yesterday I didn't get any time to eat because I spent hours in the kitchen baking a carrot birthday cake for my niece (From scratch with a lot of distractions). I ended up eating one egg with 3 egg whites scrambled with parsley it was good but not enough.

    The night before I finally got some alone time with my husband and he wanted a few drinks.... I stuck to vodka and ended up drinking a couple more shots than I should have (but I had to seize the moment). But after a night of listening to old “Cure” songs with our disco ball music player, and trying to figure out the identity of “Bucket Head”, I weighed myself (around 2 am) and I had lost 3 lbs since the afternoon before drinking. I am guessing it was all the potty time I was doing in between drinks. I didn’t weigh yesterday but up .9 this morning. So my total loss is about 11 lbs since I started 2 weeks ago.

    For some reason, I love making food for people that I am personally craving but cannot eat….(Hence, the cream pie and taking my kids and mother out for gourmet ice cream) But my cravings disappear watching other people enjoy what I want to eat. Do any of you ever do that? Or am I a freak of nature?

    TGIF!! As I travel on this journey, day by day, I am met with many temptations. Food, shopping, food, getting upset, food.... Food does seem to take a focus with me at times, and when I'm dieting, it still is at the top of my temptation list a good portion of the time! I hate that! I think it's all the activities of the summer and how they all seem to revolve around FOOD!! Summer picnics, birthday parties, festivals, etc. I love summer food & yes, just like Lexius, I really enjoy cooking for people. I've pretty much stayed on course & so I'm happy that I am able to stand firm & that I said NO to the blackberry cobbler everyone was raving about last night!!

    Lexius- Have you ever heard of the 5 love languages? We all have a different one & it sounds like we have the same one. We show our love to people by making delicious food and watching people enjoy what we have made.

    Pearly- You are doing 2.0? I've tried it a few times, but can never seem to go with all the calculations that need to be done. Guess I'm lazy about it! Good luck though...

    hcg_ I have a cutie FF nephew!

    Gem: I agree - all activities in the summer revolve around food. But also winter...fall...spring...lol Everything we do involves food. It takes a lot of willpower to stick to it!

    AFM: I'm down a little today. All I had yesterday was a total of 3 eggs, 3 pieces of sausage and some pistachios. Not bad but I didn't have time for breakfast this morning so I'm starving! I'll have to get something before lunch probably.

    Shout out to Lurker Retired! Seeing your name on the thanks, likes, always makes me smile.

    Down another 1.2 today. At least that is what the TESS said, but math wise, it looks like 1.0 to me, so probably a teence over 1.0 and TESS rounded up on the what you weigh part and rounded up on the what the difference was. As I've mentioned, we don't let TESS balance the checkbook.

    I'll take it either way! FOR SURE.

    I messed one thing up this morning: My syringes are already loaded from last round to the 22 mark, and I had to go down to 20 mark half way through. I have been fine squirting out a bit to use them except today I FORGOT and gave myself the whole thing. Hope that doesn't make me as hungry as I was last time until I changed my dose. I have used the 22 mark for several years, but that 20 mark is the sweet spot now. I'm sorry, I can't remember what that is in CCs. I THINK it is 120 and now 100. But ugh. MATH.

    Well, Nobody is here to see this, but Iím posting anyway.

    Down 2.2 today! That puts me at a flat 135. Thatís my LIW from last round.

    No idea how that happened. I have been just as good on other days, and I was no better than other days. A little miracle.

    Weíll see if it pops up tomorrow. Sigh.

    So this morning I have lost another 1.6 lbs which brings me to a total loss of 13.8 lbs in my first two weeks! It is right on track for equaling almost a lb a day (Didn't gain from loading).

    I am feeling very happy about this because from doing hcg in the past, my weight loss was would slow down a lot in the second week and I am doing much better this time!

    For some reason I haven't been hungry at all and I keep forgetting to eat. (Despite the fact I keep feeding my family food I would love to taste). Yesterday I went all the way to 5 pm and realized I still hadn't eaten. I ended up eating my chicken and asparagus but realized at 10:30 that I still hadn't gotten in my second protein. I ate some low fat cottage cheese and prayed it wouldn't make me stall since it is not on protocol. I had eaten the same kind of cottage cheese last week as well for one meal because that is the only thing I had at the time and I had a bigger loss the next day just like I did this morning. I don't think it is hurting at all.

    I have not been eating any grisinni or melba toast this round and I am wondering how this has effected others. I have heard that if you don't eat it that you become really sensitive to any wheat in the future doing phase 4 and it makes you not be able to eat it at all without gaining. I don't know how true this is, but I would like to know.

    Wow, you ladies are doing great!! So, my losses aren't as fantastic, but I'm choosing to have an item that I shouldn't in my coffee and I figure I will just end up with slower losses if that is the reason why. I'm ok with it.

    Lexius- a lb a day- That is so wonderful!! I'm not losing that much but I am going down so I'm happy It's leaving!!

    Pearly- You are doing great! I wish I could see a 1lb loss in a day again!! I'm lucky if I'm down 2lbs a week.

    hcg- hope P3 is being good to you!

    Actually, Gem, I took a page out of your book and Iím doing the same thing with my coffee. Itís sort of makes life worth living. And itís not hurting me so far. Since I do 2.0, I counted toward my protein calories. LOL.

    Thrilled that I am not up any today and still the same as yesterday. The scale bounced around down into 134s for a second but thatís fine Iíll get there. Iím still in my first week and have two days to go.

    I look for 6 pounds lost the first week counting load, and think thatís a success. Iím at 5.4 counting load right now, so on track. Then maybe two more pounds week two, and two week three and Iím golden. Says here.

    It's to good to give up in my coffee, Pearly!! It's not like I'm drinking cups of it- ha! I'm at the same weight as yesterday, but that's ok as I'm use to that happening. I just don't want to go up! I swore I wouldn't weigh daily and here I go!

    Well, week 4 weigh in tomorrow!
