    LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - Fighting the FAT in FEBRUARY!!!!

    Suze - that looks awesome!!

    Amber - girl, I have been fighting this battle for 5 years. Most recently, Iíve been on keto for 2 years and Iím pretty sure Iím the only person in history to not lose on keto! Underlying issue is right. I just need to figure out WHAT!

    No significant gain recently but considering how much I have fasted, worked out, etc - Iím sure I would have been gaining if I hadnít done all that.

    I went to my athletic proformer Pilates class this AM and kicked ***. Other girls were like you are STRONG! Itís crazy how good I feel this round...just without the scale results.

    I came home and made keto pancakes for my BF. I had an apple. There is one off protocol thing Iíve been doing - I add a 50 calorie scoop of collagen protein to my coffee. I am trying to grow my hair and itís been a real help plus itís great for you overall. I canít imagine thatís the issue but who knows???

    Suze & Xexy - whatís the protein shake with yogurt???

    Has anyone done a steak day on P2?

    Mine is Premier Protein Chocolate Shake, 1 Fage 0% (90 cal one) and 3 droppers of Sweet Leaf Chocolate Drops

    Hey I used collagen in my coffee this whole round and did not have a problem with it..

    Amber: I would dare say it's the same with HCG as your pregnancy since more HCG is in your system when preggo. That's weird though!

    I've decided I'm going to end my round on 2/25. That gives me over a month of P3 before my b-day and should be plenty of time to stabilize before I mayyyyybe eat some ice cream cake that day lol I'm not sure if our Saturday plans are still on because BF hasn't said anything in a few days but I'll still go to 2/25 regardless. That would be 30 VLCD's which I think is more than I've ever done. Normally I just need a short round but I started way higher than usual this round so I need more time.

    Underlying for sure! Go to an endocrinologist and have your thyroid numbers run. General docs have such a wide range they look at but and endo. is far more specialized. I've never done a steak day. I feel like our old moderator, Christy, used to do them often. I have done Apple days and the PI says it's really just a psychological thing because it's alot of water (and fiber) to make a loss but for me they worked every time and I kept losing afterwards.

    Oh and I drink collagen coffee too so I don't think that is affecting you.

    Jumping in in the middle of the month here... I'm back, and kinda sad about it... Finished up my first 2.0 protocol round last October and all was going well until I got influenza in December. Two rounds of prednisone later (my asthma got REALLY bad), and I gained back every tiny ounce I'd lost plus 2 lbs. I'm not patient, so hCG to the rescue! I'm on VLCD3, doing the 2.0 protocol again (but modified of course, because why would I want to follow any hard and fast rules? Lol!!). This will be a 23-25 day round, not including my load days, so hoping I can get back to where I was before I got sick. Hello to all, new and familiar!

    Hi Yay,

    There are a few recommendations for breaking stalls on P2 but no steak days. Some folks do an apple day (six medium apples over the course of a day, not too much water and NOTHING ELSE) and some ladies have been successful on a yogurt day, 32 oz of fat free Fage with 8 oz berries over the course of a day.

    I mix two scoops of Isopure Zero Carb (vanilla or any flavor I have on hand since I use it year round), a small fat free Fage, handful of ice and just enough water to get things going in the blender. There is sucralose as the last ingredient in the protein powder but I don't otherwise use any of the artificial sweeteners.

    Round 1, P2: 187 to 168
    Round 1, P3: 166 stable

    Round 2, P2: 168 to 156
    Round 2, P3: 155 stable

    Round 3, P2: 163 to 149
    Round 3, P3: 149 and hopeful...

    Round 4, P2: 151 (not counting 7lb loading gain)

    Came down a little had some success with the BM's but still working on the normal, regular part it will come. Waiting for my products I bought from Amazon-Yay-.

    Yesterday was eggs and veggies, salad with hard boiled eggs, turkey and veggies with this great lemon olive oil dressing, two glasses of red wine and some salmon and salad for dinner. I am going to meet some gf's tonight so I know I will have some red wine and a caesar salad with some protein on top. My kids tease me as I really do love salad. I am going to add in some almonds today as well. I feel pretty good with that as I have never had a problem with them before. I cannot remember if brussel sprouts are starching..going to look that up. If not will probably do some of those this weekend with some steak.

    Have a pretty mellow weekend for me planned. Tomorrow getting my hair done, I am going to see two clients then play some tennis. Sunday I am going to do my private supervision in the morning, go to the lenscrafters and see about some new glasses and get a small white tattoo on my arm. My first one and it is just going to say "breathe"..just trying to figure out placement. had been wanting it on the inside of my wrist and now considering my forearm, but will probably do my wrist. They said it will only take like 30 minutes. A little nervous, but that is why I am going with white..so it is mellow.

    April - oh I didn't know they did a white tattoo. Post a pic once it is all healed! I love salad too but I like the creamy dressings. I'm done with the balsamic this and Italian that. Congrats on the BM!

    VLCD 13 and I'm down another pound. I went to get a pedicure last night and they serve wine so of course I had to have a glass! I didn't eat my fruit yesterday so no problem. I'm starting to really want something crispy. That is my kryptonite is crunchy snacks. Any suggestion to tame the craving? I'll go eat an apple for now and listen to the crunch!

    Good morning Lovelies,

    Feeling a little bit better today and I think it's because I ate utter nonsense yesterday. Down .02 to 152.2 after I had a big chicken empanada, some ranch tuna with celery, some steamed asparagus with parmesan cheese, a bite of steak and a bite of au gratin potatoes along with a generous glass of wine. I expected the wine to be dry but it was as sweet and bubbly as Martinelli's. I only finished half of my baked tilapia...which tasted pretty boring.

    @April: you seem to be easing in to P3. In past rounds I've ratcheted up the calories quickly since Grammy seemed to recommend something closer to 3,000 a day. I don't count them, just stay away from the sugar and starch. Is slow and steady a better approach? I stabilized below LDW and kept it off for a year before this round, but I've also lost much more slowly this round. I'm really looking forward to P3 but perhaps I need a different approach...

    @Amber: the textures do get to me in P2! I just ordered an air fryer to see if I can shake things up for these last days.
