    That's why I love HCG. It gives me the body shape I want ( but didn't have when I was younger) with no exercise; as long as we don't "go wild" with our eating once we're done, but then again neither can the models.

    I've made up my mind that I love cute clothes more than I do food. As long as I remind myself of this on a regular basis I can maintain with no problem. Last year, I was a bit too lax while starting to date a new man, who liked eating out a lot, and allowing my mom to come and visit for a month, and encouraging me to "eat up" all the sinful things she cooked for me while she was here.

    I have too many trips this year and beautiful clothes I want to wear to allow anything to derail my results from this vanity round

    Hoping to get back down again in 4 weeks of P3. I put on my pants that I could not put on before this round and then could when I ended. Still fit the same as they did when i ended the round (just had to make sure). So maybe my muscles needed the glyocgen..who knows. at the end of the day it is not that important as long as I can stabilize and still fit into the clothes I want to be able to. I would like to be closer to 145 if I have to be above my ending goal..but life is too short to do worry about it and I can always try another round in the future when I am feeling in the mood to do so..

    someone asked about my salad dressings that I love

    here is a link..I love the lemon garlic one...but I think they are all good. I buy them in the store, but may look at some of their stuff on line as there are more options..

    Back for Round 4 and I brought my Hubby along

    Hi Everyone!

    I'm back for round 4 of hcg. I lost a total of 60 lbs on my first three rounds. I gained back about 8 pounds and now I want to get that off plus about 25 more. I brought my husband with me this round. It's his first time doing hcg and he's having some trouble adjusting. We are both currently on day 4 of VLCD. He has been having chills followed by sweats in the mornings. I think maybe he's just detoxing, but not sure. He also seems to be hungry and dizzy first thing in the morning. He's a breakfast eater so I told him to have a protein shake and one of his fruits in the am to get something on his stomach. Besides how he feels, his losses are great! He's down 10 lbs already. I have lost 7.5 lbs.

    It's great to be here in such a supportive forum. I'm looking forward to talking with you all.

    By the way, I'm gluten free and looking to an alternative to the melba toast. Does anyone have suggestions?

    Four days in a little “habitual” hunger is very normal. Is he very tall? I’ve heard of men over 6’3” upping the protein to 10oz total.

    If he remains hungry he might have a dose problem.

    And not to be prejudiced, but my husband was a bit of a drama queen on his 20 days of hcg.

    Congratulations Lemon...great losses and your shaping up nicely. What round was this for you? I'm on my 5th round and considering going for longer days. The wait in between this round is very long so I'm trying to squeeze out as much loses as possible. How were your loses during the extended time?

    Hey Jess,

    I did one round in 2013 and one in 2017 but those rounds took me from 155-135/140. This is my first and likely only round after having my baby. I gained a lot of weight during pregnancy by treating my nausea with carbs.

    After the first two weeks I typically lose 3-3.5pounds a week like clockwork.

    Here’s some stats Incase you didn’t know:

    1 pound on the scale is 55% fat and 45% water (there’s negligible muscle that can be calculated at 20 pound increments)

    1 pound of fat is 3500 calories

    Therefore to lose one pound on the scale you need a deficit of 1925 calories.

    After logging my food and calculating my bmr, my body followed these numbers to a T.

    "I love cute clothes more than I love food". I'm so stealing that from you ...what a great way to think!! And I do love and miss wearing some cute clothes. That's really what I've been striving for on this HCG journey. Somehow I lost my way, my style and my waist after leaving a career to be a stay at home mom.     You don't have to do melba or breadsticks, many leave these out. If he has the shakes, I would personally drop the fruit, or do the fruit later in the day.

    If he can stomach it, some protein first thing in the morning is a good step. And... I do most of my protein from fish, so I get away with more food.

    But I am rogue. In theory, I follow the HCG 2.0 food list (no melba, no fruit, more calories based on person, more food selection), but I haven't upped my calories. I mainly eat tuna and white fish, though, I would be higher in calories with meat.

    We are about the same in the process! I am on vlcd5 or 6, and need to lose 100lbs+ this year. I did many many years ago, so will do again.

    True, a lot of people don't do any grains in P2. I find that when I do have those in P2 it helps me with P3 and beyond but everyone is different Also, you can spread out your food in P2. I normally at least have a fruit before lunch when I'm in P2. It definitely helps.

    I'm up 1.0 from where I was a few days ago but still 2 lbs. under LDW so I'm alright with it. I loved seeing the 140's but I'll see them again when I do another round I need to do a little clothes shopping because BF has an event next week and I wanna look decent at least. I may get my hair cut next week as well and/or maybe a little highlight or something because I've seen way too many gray hairs lately
