Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - JAZZED in JUNE!!!!

    Good morning, Lovlies!
    I guess June is a slow month...

    I started vlcd Monday and this week has been great for loses. I've been doing about 30 minutes of yoga a day along with not eating anything after 7:00 p.m. I probably had quite a bit of inflammation going on in my body from poor food choices over the past few months so we'll see how things go the next couple of weeks.

    Yay ~ how did your burger day go? Maybe your jump was a combination of carbs and workout after effects? I know when I have sore muscles I retain water and gain.

    sdwis ~ I've heard of intermittent fasting but never looked into it. What exactly is it?

    Good morning and happy Saturday!!

    i am down again finally after nothing for 5 days. at 161.8. day12. loss of 7. something. not counting load.
    I was a bit suprised i was down because i ate about 30 strawberries yesterday. went picking with the
    grandbabies and my daughter. I was at their house later than i planned so ate some tuna with no veggies,
    as i had eaten the strawberries.

    I am going to add something to the mention of slow digestion, if you dont mind. ive been learning so much about
    how our bodies dont break down food.
    we are born with so many natural enzymes in our bodies. If we dont replentish our enzymes we can really run out
    of them. Our bodies were not created to eat processed boxed, irradiated food with all the chemicals. So our bodies
    shoot out more enzymes than normal to break down all that crap.
    we have to eat 100 store bought apples to get the same nutrition out of an apple grown 50 yrs ago!! How crazy is that??
    This is going to sound gross, but alot of us have had food build up backed up in our gallbladder, stomach for a lot time sitting
    there rotting.
    This is where a probiotic/prebiotic enzyme come in so handy!! I am taking one that is a whole food. all plant enzyme. no chemichels
    added.
    i am going to be honest and say after i got my gall bladder issue resolved which i mentioned in the may post, i had not had issues with it
    in several months. this last week all of a sudden its really starting to hurt again, since being on this diet. That being said, i feel that after my
    21 days maybe 30 if i can do it, i will not do this again. THe pain from this confirms my thoughts that this is not a good diet for me. although,
    i love how i lose.. I am not getting enough carbs at all. I am saying this for me that if you have no issues continue to do this.
    I tried Keto and about killed my gall bladder. So i am thinking back to weight watchers i go. but as i also said, if my gallbladder doesnt get too bad
    i will continue till the 21 days .
    hmmmm maybe... p3 is really hard on my gall bladder.... well, i will double up on my probitoic for now and see what happens.

    @klsnyder - how much are you down??
    @tanyamac - maybe find fruits/veggies in P2 that are a little carbier that would still work for you???

    My burger day went alright. I was on the lake all day (lots of wake surfing) so I did a 24 hour fast, got home around 730pm and ate about 11-12oz of grass fed burger, 1/2 a small apple, along with a simple salad (olive oil/lemon juice dressing), some air fried zucchini, and an Enlightened ice cream bar (70 cal, 4 net carbs) AND a handful of blackberries and blueberries.

    I probably should have just done the burger and the apple. ...oops.

    I woke up at 140.2, so within my range (139.1 -141.1) BUT I like to get under my LIW on a correction day. So, I got ready and went for a 4 mile run to start out the day. I weighed after my run just to see how much water I lost and I was 138.7. Lol - water weight is REAL.

    I was going to intermittent fast again today but decided to have breakfast because I know I need to nourish my body. I had 4oz of leftover ground beef, 1 egg, 1/3 of a small apple and coffee with almond milk and a little MCT powder.

    Iíll snack lightly on the boat and then I have a chuck roast in the slow cooker for when we get home from the lake tonight. Iíll check in tomorrow to let you know how it went!

    Tanyamc ~ I hope you can figure out what works for you. I have read alot about stomach acid and how so many people are low on it and don't even know it. If you've had blood work recently and your mcv is above 85 you more than likely don't produce enough. I supplement with hcl and enzymes. Hope you figure things out soon!

    yay ~ Today is vlcd 7 and I'm down 8.6 lbs from what I weighed before loading. Boating sounds like so much fun! I don't live close enough to water big enough for a boat LOL. I like how you've figured out what your body responds to. How long have you maintained after your last round?

    Woke this morning to the same weight. That's ok, I was expecting the slow down after losing 8.6 in 5 days. Took it easy yesterday but the grandkids (boys 3 & 5 yo) are coming over after church so there will be lots of activity today...

    @klsnyder - what an awesome first week loss!!! Whatís your goal this round?

    I came in at 140.2 today after another full day of wake surfing (plus my 40 min run in the morning). I was going to intermittent fast but my stomach was a little nauseous from hunger so I had some beef jerky and half an orange. Iím not sure what our food plan is today because weíll be on lake for a handful of hours and when I donít know the evening plan, I like to play breakfast/lunch really light just in case we end up eating out and drinking, lol.

    Yay, it sounds like you've really got food down to a science.


    I've still been holding above my 2 pound window, since I didn't do the prescribed steak day last week. I'm pretty sure it's water retention because I very oddly got my period the other day. Not something I've seen in about a year. I'll try a fat fast tomorrow.

    LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - JAZZED in JUNE!!!!

    @kar - lmk what you end up eating on your fat fast and what the results are! Also are you saying you got your period for the first time in a YEAR?! Whoa!!!

    We ended up going to sushi last night and I had mainly sashimi but did eat some rice AND definitely sake. And guess what people - Iím still holding at 140.2!!

    Granted. I might be a little dehydrated lol.

    I was planning to do OMAD today but I woke up ravenous and decided to listen to my body. (Go me!) We did a LOT of activity over the weekend so fasting today didnít make sense. I had a spinach salad with smoked salmon, eggs, and olive oil (I love breakfast salads!) plus some berries. Weíll skip lunch today as we are going out to dinner for a friendís bday at a steakhouse and I know that will be a very calorie dense meal.

    The next few weeks is going to be wild, we have SO many people coming to town and staying with us. Iím going to be very vigilant about eating and use the scale as feedback.

    My boyfriend eats keto and Iíve moved more towards the THM approach (some keto meals, some moderate carb meals). My parents will be visiting and they are keto as well, so it shouldnít be too difficult. Over 4th of July week, we have a bunch of house guests but weíll be doing lake days and itís so easy to intermittent fast on those days because we rush out of the house in the morning anyway. Iím the one who packs the boat snacks and that usually consists of veggies and healthy dips with some deli turkey.

    So...i almost quit the hcg day before yesterday due to the gall bladder pain. yesterday no pain. I think i've
    figured out that its my beloved asparagus!! i'm so sad as i love asparagus!!
    I also took some liquid magnesium citrate which kicked in quite nicely this morning. i love that for me
    there is no pain involved with this!!

    @tanyamac what brand?

    Went to a steakhouse for dinner last night (P4), has filet, couple bites of wedge salad with amazing bacon, some Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. They brought out a tray of donuts for the birthday girl but none for me, thanks.

    I was up at 142.6 this morning so doing a modified steak day or maybe just heavy intermittent fasting. Iím already hungry lol! Iíll just try and stay busy.

    Iím doing a gnarly leg workout today and then my parents arrive for a couple week visit.

    I did have a lady order cbd from me from another hcg forum on facebook. but, as i said i want to be
    careful as i dont want to over step any boundries.

    So i am so close to be back in the 150s! I am going to be super careful so i dont screw this up! Just going to
    do this till i cant take anymore!! Kinda wanted to be done on my birthday or before the 4th. but we will see
    how i feel.
    I will probably do another round after i get back from Oklahoma/Texas first week of August. My youngest daughter
    is 22 weeks pregant after losing 3 babies last year. I am going to go to suprise her for her baby shower!! i cannot
    hardly wait!!

    I have not started yet. I have all the stuff., ready to start Saturday, but I didn't. I got all the healthy p2 groceries., ready to start Sunday. Then I slept Sunday away on the couch and didn't mix the hcg. So, I didn't start Sunday. Or yesterday, even though I had a planned dinner out with friends to finish loading with. Loaded, but not so it counts! EEEK. I need to do this.

    I am seeing 7 pounds down, 8 pounds down. Oy. I need to be THAT person!
