Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - JUST DO IT in July!!!

    Retired, glad to have the company. Yep, the middle is supposed to be the SMALL part. Ugh! It is my most disturbing 'problem area' ALWAYS.

    I am starting up again. I felt completely normal yesterday and enjoyed my day immensely. I did have soup and a slice of sourdough bread for lunch: I went out with office ladies and ordered a 'summer market salad" i.e. lettuce. No protein, some peas and corn kernels, about a 6th of a cucumber, onion, one grape tomato. Oh, no way. By the time I ate all the interesting things in it, I'd lost interest in plain lettuce ( I rarely eat dressing except maybe some red wine vinegar) so tried to find SOMETHING else at the restaurant. I did NOT order the bread, it came with the bowl of tomato soup. And it crawled up my arm and jumped into my mouth.

    I did okay the rest of the day and did NOT have that HANGRY gonna-go-hunting-gonna-kill-me-sumpin-to-EAT feeling, so that was a relief!

    I squirted out two lines worth of hcg today before taking my dose. I've been using 22 units and that puts me at 20. I THINK that is 100. I may have to experiment, cuz that's pretty low. It may be that 110 is better. I counted out 7 doses and then I am DONE, regardless of where I land. And, full disclosure, I may be done before that! I'll just take it day by day.

    Who am I kidding? I will just take it hour by hour... bite by bite!

    PS: Thank you, Leez! I checked my math using your thread under New to HCG on mixing. I printed out your instructions on mixing years ago and I use it every time. P

    Yep, in the last week of my P2 rounds, I've sometimes lost 1.4 or 1.6 in one day .

    AFM ó I donít know what the hell got into my last night. I just couldnít resist taking a bite of fried rice... a nibble of salmon... and a forkful if oily veggies that my boyfriend had on his plate. I knew I wouldnít like what the scale would reveal this morning. And yep... 2 lbs. heavier. I didnít trip, though. My body is still looking slim and trim, and Iím dedicated to finishing out these next 10 days on protocol. I just hope that doesnít cause a stall.

    Howís everyone doing today?

    Iím trying to recover from my 2lb. gain from cheating the other night. Steak yesterday brought me down a pound. Today, I think Iíll do fish for one meal and chicken for the other. I only have about 9 days left in P2, so hopefully I can reach my goal, which is only 4 pounds away.

    Iím so looking forward to bulletproof coffee, salmon, avocado, slathering oil on EVERYTHING, and adding fish oil back into my supplement regimen.

    Who is doing or has done HCG 2.0?
    Did you have difficulty reaching the protein levels?

    I tried it one cycle that I quit too early, so Iím not so sure how it works for me. Most times I follow OP, but lately, Iíve modified a few things that arenít OP but still seem to give me good results. On 2.0, I believe for protein, you want to ensure you eat at least 500 calories of protein daily.

    In my case, Iím not fully 2.0, but I do ensure I eat at least 500 calories of protein daily, particularly because I workout daily (brisk walk / light jog). Some days I do Melba, since carbs work well with cardio. But no fruit. In the beginning of my round, I did fruit daily (strawberries), but once my losses slowed down and I discovered they were the culprit behind my ongoing cravings, I eliminated them altogether. Once I eliminated fruit, my cravings surprisingly went away.

    The one part of 2.0 that I know works against me stabilizing is adding coconut oil to my regimen during P2. Tried it and couldnít stabilize to save my life during P3/P4.

    Feeling fortunate that even though I gained 2 lbs. for cheating the other night, Iím back on track after only 2 days. I was so afraid of stalling, especially since I only have one week left. Fx that my losses continue. Iím only a couple of pounds away from my goal.

    Retired - Pearly does 2.0 and does really well with it. I thought about it for my next round since there's more variety.

    I didn't weigh today but I will tomorrow. Had (regular) pizza Saturday night and got so sick yesterday. My stomach feels flatter so hopefully that's a good sign. I'm hoping to be about 10 total lbs. down by mid-August. Day by day!

    Hey all,

    This round is really making me work for it. Yesterday I was down below when the dose shenanigans started, at 135.4. Woo Woo!
    Today, I was back up to 136.6. Wah wah.

    Sigh. I slept and weighed really late yesterday and a bit earlier than usual today, so ... IDK. I'm close, that's all I know for sure. Clothes are fitting.

    Retired, yep. 2.0. I had to as my last job included a luncheon daily. I had the cooks trained to give me the protein and veggies and skip the starch and dessert, but still, I had little control as to WHAT protein I would get daily. Now I am bringing my lunch every day and that is actually easier to stay on track, but more boring, as I tend to make the same thing for several days in a row.

    There is a book Hcg 2.0 available on line at Amazon, downloadable as a kindle for not much, I'm thinking less than $10 but I may be lying. It is not a lot, or I would not have purchased it.

    It tells you how to calculate your protein calories. Mine have always been about 526 a day. Not hard, that's three servings of lean protein, 3 or 4 ounces at a time. And if you are short, have some good quality deli turkey as a snack. I also use cottage cheese and plain yogurt, both of which probably should be non-fat, but I don't believe in Franken-Fake Food. I have to count the carbs in them, and I still do okay even with the extra fat. I find I do BETTER with a little fat than none. It is sooooo much easier than P2 OP, as it allows a lot more variety. I am not a great example right now as I am struggling with the last 2 pounds of what was supposed to be an easy 10 pound loss. Grrr. But I have had ISSUES, which I hope I have resolved.

    Thank you all for the info.
    Pearly...I have the book and have referred to it many times. The last time I calculated the protein amount it was 556.
    I find it difficult to weigh protein raw and know the calories so I cook then weigh. I use MFP to know the caloric values.

    I'm a thinkin' my issue is the allowable amount of protein. It's hard for my OP brain to switch over! I feel as if I'm cheating big time. I'm so not a fish eater (WW ruined me for tuna) but I might try tilapia. I also have a problem swallowing cooked egg whites. One of these mornings when I've convinced myself it's okay to have breakfast maybe I'll try the sauteed veggies with the egg whites. I love salads and veggies but even so I've not found it difficult to stay below the 30 grams.

    Thanks for the info on cottage cheese and yogart. We are definitely sisters on the franken-fake food thing. Speaking of Franken-fake food. I threw out all of the Walden Farms salad dressings!!!!!!!!!! I had used some on a salad and found I just couldn't stomach it.

    I'm like Janeen....I want this done with NOW! I waited way too long to do a round and now I'm likely to have to do two. O' woe.
