Thread: LOVELY LOSERS 2019 - JUST DO IT in July!!!

Has anyone else tried the collagen peptides in P2? It seems like a great way to get in protein when you're getting the protein aversion. I always have that in week 2 or 3.

I decided I'm going to start another round sometime next week. I just cant do it on my own. Well, I could but I have no willpower. HCG just makes it so much easier for me because I know exactly what I can and cant eat and dont have as many choices. I think that works best for me.

How many rounds have you done, when was the last one, and how much do you want to lose this time?

I've done several rounds before but the last one was about 4 months ago so I should be good for the immunity thankfully. I lost 15 last round and want to do the same this round. I'll take 140 lbs but would prefer to be in the 130's.

Checked the Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides price at Costco today and the regular price is 29.99 for the 24 oz. I bought another one to use after I'm thru with this round. For HCG 2.0 it's an excellent way for me to get protein in the morning. If the 'I just can't stand that much chicken' hits me I'll use it to round out my protein. It's supposed to be good for skin, hair, nails and joints. Heaven knows my skin could use more collagen.
    take care...r

HCGChica online says she uses it but it's not a "complete protein", so she doesn't really use it for her protein source while on HCG. Something like that at least. I think I would still use it as a protein source on HCG because it's high in protein and seems to fit all the HCG requirements. Sometimes I can't even drink a protein shake but I could do coffee in the morning if it's unflavored.

I'm planning to start P2 on 8/5 because BF is probably going to take an important test on 8/3 and I want to be able to celebrate with him after that. I know he's going to pass so I'm anticipating celebrations next weekend. Loading would be 8/3 and 8/4 but I'm not going to go crazy with anything. I'm hoping to start P2 at 155 or less.
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 146.8
    LDW: 147.0

Yes. Iíve been taking Collagen Peptides twice a day in P2 ó a scoop in my coffee in the morning. And then before bed, I drink a glass of if with water, Vitamin C powder, and a couple of dropperfuls of vanilla creme stevia. For some reason, at night, it makes me sleepy and gives me the best sleep.

Even though Iím in P2, Iím not super strict with counting calories, especially since majority of my meals are white fish and during my daily workout, I burn about 250+ calories. Losses in P2 have been great. 21 lbs so far with just a few more days to go.

    Quick question....

I have 3 injections left for this round but I know my cycle is coming within the next day or so. Should I go ahead and let today be the last day, since it would be an accurate LIW? Iím afraid of using an LIW while on my cycle, because it will include water weight.

Or should I stop taking injections until cycle is over, resume the three injections, then use the LIW from the last day then?

    Any thoughts???

You can do either. Or you could just skip for first or heaviest day. You want to have at least 3 injections in a row before transitioning, so you would be fine.

Thank you Leez! I think Iím going to make today my last injection day. I canít imagine prolonging this another week! I was looking forward to losing a couple of more pounds, but not for another week, meanwhile salivating over my P3 menu. Lol....

On to my last VLCDs before P3!

    Bulletproof coffee, here I come!!!

What collagen peptides do you use, lovely? I'm thinking about getting some on Amazon this week since I'll start P2 next Monday. Seems like it really helps.

Wow, everyone is quiet over the weekend!

I love Sundays. I usually weigh at around 6:30 a.m. weekdays and even Saturdays, but Sundays I sometimes get to sleep in a bit. This week I slept in a LOT and didn't weigh until almost 10 a.m. Loved seeing 134 on the scale, even just for the day. Today back up, but still "in" the 135 zone at 135.8. My back is stiff and bothering me today, so am blaming a bit of inflammation.

Still haven't had my coffee with cream, as I didn't get to the grocery store yesterday. Will make a run at lunch time!

    Onward! P
