Oh Pearly that sucks . . . The last time that was done to me, it was 2 weeks before my annual review and guess what? My review was all about the new job description. In my case, they upgraded/added to the job, and didn't like it when I pointed out my pay was was $20,000 below the bottom of range for my title . . . Needless to say, I was gone 6 months later.

Good luck. Sadly you will need it.

bluetech: Good luck! Hopefully you'll feel better on your skip day. I've never done injections but it sounds like you may need just a minor adjustment. And yes, the waiting is the hardest part! Hopefully he gets a call today but we'll see.

I still haven't started loading because no call yesterday for BF. He said he has a good feeling about today but has said before if they don't call him by tomorrow he's going to call them. I just want good news only because he deserves it after going after this so many times. Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for a call today!

Thanks, everyone, for the support! I really, REALLY appreciate it.

Strangely, they backed down on everything. They claimed they didn't mean to do any of the things I thought, just 'worded it wrong.' I am rarely that far off on reading people, so I am still a bit squinty-eyed about it all, but for now, crisis averted. No mention of a raise, no bonus, etc. Hmmm... Our organization president came to the meeting (they 'forgot' to invite her, but I forwarded the date and time with a "I noticed you weren't copied on this..." ) and I kind of am thinking they back pedaled big time with her there. So. Whatever!

To be truthful, I have wanted out of this job for about 3 1/2 years of the 4 years I've been here, so 1. I may have been looking for trouble in order to justify my leaving and 2. I am a leeetle disappointed. Now I have no excuse to quit in a fit of pique. I couldna anyway, as I can't go without the paycheck. I got Nuthin on the horizon, and at age 65, even with the good job market, my opportunities are limited.

Meanwhile, no mixing no loading, but I am getting closer. Yesterday was just too busy and stressful. Maybe I will have time to mix tonight. I HAVE decided to do a round and I have a small window. I want to be well in to P3 before upcoming surgery. So, I need to get after it. I am getting SICK of bad foods, and am actually looking forward to eating less. Can you believe it? I polished off some last Oreos last night and this morning was in such a sugar crash I had to use dynamite to get out of bed. I'm still walking into walls. This has gotta stop already!

Congrats to all on your hard work. I'll get better at doing personals, promise! Meanwhile, boy do I appreciate YOU!

Pearly: Hang in there. I believe the oreo fiasco because I've been having those daily for the last few months lol Just keep swimming!

AFM: Well, I'm in the best of moods today because BF got the job! WOOHOO! Now I just have to think about when to start P2. I'm thinking it would be best if I do it when he starts his training because right now he's all gung-ho about hitting the gym with me so I know I wouldn't have the energy in P2 to be at the gym like we used to be. I could barely do it when I was eating regularly. Right now I'm gonna try to eat P3-ish starting tomorrow until my load days. I'm assuming that'll be within the next 2-3 weeks. I've gained SO much weight and if I could take off about 20-30 lbs. in the next 2 months it would at least be a start.

Hi everyone, today is my 2nd skip day of this round. Iíve never noticed a difference on skip days. Iím done 12.2 on day 14. Absolutely no complaints here. I here we have some crazy cold weather coming and some snow in Chicago this weekend and next week. I ran my errands yesterday. No reason to leave the house until next Friday. I have an appointment because of a rotator cuff issue but to be honest it isnít bothering me that much anymore. Inflammation is way down on HCG program. Iím going anyway because I have a volunteer trip schedule March and I may be doing heavy lifting as we are helping to build a school in a village the mountains of Tahiti. We will also spend time doing marine conservation work implanting baby corals. Iím a scuba girl and Iím always looking for a good marine conservation volunteer opportunity. This trip my BFF is joining me and she doesnít dive so we picked a trip with no dive requirement. If any of you are interested in such a venture checkout WE ARE BAMBOO. They have trips geared for the 50 and over crowd too. 2 years ago I did their Thailand and Cambodia trip. It was awesome. We got to bath Elephants in the river. . Anyway the upcoming trip is Keeping me motivated. Iíll jist be finished with P3 when I leave so I know Iíll have to watch it but all the activities & excercise on this trip will really help.

    Checking in.

I was pretty hungry on my skip day (yesterday). I didnít cheat per say but oooh boy did I eat some tomatoes. Kind of the same thing today with my chicken (which wasnít even good. It was dry.) I also finally got around to buying Melba toast so letís see how adding that goes.

Everybody is dealing with so much right now! I totally get being ready for this diet or in the right mind set. Somewhere around 4 months post partum I thought ďugh Iím tired of eating! (And being huge.)Ē I honestly really looked forward to this round. I was ready to get back from ďmy body is for my babyĒ.
