    Welcome back, Kansas!
Wow... the things I miss when I'm busy for a couple days.
Still waiting for my "whoosh" but after being stalled for a week I'm at least down 0.2. I'll take it. Right now I feel no rush to move to P3, so I'll hang in there until I reach goal. Or if I get sick of this. lol

    Week 1 VLCD results: -1.8, -1.0, -1.4, -1.4, -1.2, -0.4, +0.6
    Week 2 VLCD results: -0.6, -0.0, -0.2, -0.4, -0.0, -0.4, -0.2
    Week 3 VLCD results: -1.0

Nothing like having both Pro and Kansas back to liven things up! LOL.

Thanks all, for the resume advice. I only list the last 10 years of jobs, don't list my graduation date, etc. The problem is, my career has been in the toilet the last 10 years and those jobs don't reflect much of what I can do. I moved to CO 14 years ago to help my sister with 3 babies, and now they are teen agers (and it's HARDER than changing all those diapers) and have been "underemployed' this whole time. Sigh.

I owned ad agencies, an event business, worked for the State in marketing, did voice over work, had my own late night TV show, had PR jobs with a huge law firm and a major insurance company, etc. Since being here, I worked as an account supervisor in a call center, got laid off; marketing director for a pharmacy; got laid off (when the owner went to jail) marketing director for Chamber of Commerce, got laid off (when another organization did a hostile takeover), and was pretty darned glad to land where I am just as my unemployment ran out. But I never, ever thought I would spend my last working years scheduling repair men and settling squabbles between little old ladies. Ugh. WHOT? (homage to you, K!)

I'm for sure going to mix tonight and start loading tomorrow! Says here. I can get 21 days in and have 8 days of P3 before my surgery on Feb 19th. That is really cutting it close, but I won't be able to do a round after for a while, and I am NOT getting new boobs and be FAT! I think.

Pro, when ever you start, you will do great! My go to is the small, flat tilapia fillets (frozen in a bag!) pan 'fried' with cooking spray and pepper, with spinach, either frozen or fresh wilted, also in cooking spray. Other than that, I eat a LOT of chicken. cluck cluck cluck.

KS, 15 in 26! Woot Woot! You know how to do this! Oh come on, it IS the scale. It's just not ONLY the scale. LOL.

April, good for you for sticking so close to your LIW this whole time. You are right, just a few weeks of P2. We can do anything for 3 weeks. (I keep reminding myself!)

Lynn, DMom, thanks for the resume advice. You are all right! Keep up the good fight.

    Onward!

Jan 2013: 173 to 126.8. Multiple rounds since then to stay there! Back Again!

Pearly: Yeah, it makes it difficult when you can only list so much but you know you're worth a lot more. Hopefully you can find something soon that you at least like doing! I wish I was a fish person but I only really like some shrimp and lobster. I just can't make it myself lol I have protein powder that may just have to be my saving grace this round. On the days I use it I'll just have to cut back on fruit for the day. I'm antsy to start but I think I may wait to load next Friday. It's just when I'll have more "alone" time to eat what I want without judgment lol
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 146.8
    LDW: 147.0

Kansas: gotta love the dementia folks lol you could have given her plenty of attention and she just didnt know it your egg taco thing sounds good so I may try it!
I decided I'm really going to load Sunday and Monday. No reason to delay this anymore. I just cant wait to feel better both physically and emotionally. I've learned I may not ever be 120 again but I'm gonna work my butt off to see 130. I may not make it there in 1 round but after this round I'll try to at least get in better shape.

    pro I go in tens
so 160, 150's l40's etc chunk it, doesnt seem so daunting. once you get momentum going in the direction you want its easier and easier
this will sound stupid but I know YOu will get it.
sometimes I imagine eating doritos or popcorn and it kind of passes, the craving
then i read something about how that works. just imagine lightly and let it go then all of a sudden boiled chicken sounds good,. I know I'm weird
Doing the best that I can , from where I am. All is well

Hmmm...I suppose that does make sense. I'll have to try imagining eating pizza the whole time lol I've never had nor do I ever imagine myself eating boiled chicken. I need a lot of flavor lol going in 10's is a good idea! I dont even know my starting weight but I dont really wanna think about that right now. I figure my loading days aren't gonna be all-out bingeing like normal but I'm gonna eat a few things I'll miss. I wanna try to fit some sushi in. YUM.

Pro:I know, I remember you making eggplant pizza and cauli pizza once I think. I recall you being really creative with your dishes. I thought you hated fish? If you dont end up liking sushi, have them wrap it in rice or soy paper, i for one hate seaweed. I wanna like it

I'm so much happier weighing once per week( once I weighed the afternoon, I know, prior and I could tell I was gonna be at a good weight the next day)
I was stressing self out with the okay, gotta get up"do my biz" take off clothes, weigh Every day.

I really love the IF part, I feel better and I've never lost this fast on hcg
and I'm gonna keep the IF part for maintenance too
I used to say oh i cant do fasting but now the have serious science behind it and how its good for brain etc(pple testing too)
    Oh I found the video

    hey all

    Ok Load day 1
    153.6

Colonoscopy went well. Actually it was a breeze other than the fasting day which is just hard at work and not to be able to have just a little snack. The clean out so to speak for my hysterectomy was a 100 times worse. I am a horrible loader but I will load today and Sunday with VLCD 1 being Monday on the holiday. I will probably use that day to prep some meals as i am off. That makes it so really ony two full weeks at work. I usually try to work a lot, binge watch shows and knit during the P2 phase, keeps me engaged. I think the food choices just get boring, but i find this time of the year the easiest as there is less need to be social and it is easy to hibernate. Not sure I have a goal weight, more like a goal pair of pants. I have one pair of rock revival capri's that I can get on, barely button but no way wear. That is my goal...so we will see what weight on the scale gets me there. I would hope the high 130's or low 140's.

Pearly: I prefer doing a CV over a resume, as it captures skills and accomplishments without having to list jobs. Not sure if that would work as well. Looks like if you do load today..we will be doing this together.

Down 1.6 this morning. Was not 100% so today my goal is to be better. Hard to go from full out to nothing, lol. I had a crazy couple weeks so when the breakfast tacos showed up at work I didn't even think about not eating one. I know I can do better. I am going to incorporate protein powder so will be more of 2.0 than original but as long as the scale goes down I am good.

Can't update my ticker cause my link is at work haha. I am going to spend the day in my craft room organizing and crafting. A much needed break after the chaos of Christmas and visa renewal.

    Hi April,

The CV is a great idea! The recession hit many of us hard, with layoffs and moves. (I lived in 5 states one year). I'm going to look at re-doing my resume.

I'm glad your colonoscopy went well. I have avoided doing one, but should do it.

We are getting snow today, but it's very cold, light and powdery, and we aren't supposed to get much here in SE Michigan.

    Happy Saturday, all -

    Lynne

Kansas: I've never tried IF but it seems to work for most people. Maybe its helped with your hunger this round?

Has anyone done 3 days of loading vs 2? I'm considering it but not sure yet. Just wondering what differences people have seen. I'm not going to overdo it but still was wondering if you lose more maybe or faster?
