That's only 4 pounds over my original LIW from 6 years ago, but for some reason, I feel slimmer now than then. Multiple rounds of HCG does slim you in places you still have extra fat, even though the overall number doesn't change. I know my clothes fit better than they have at other, lower weights. So, I'm happy for now. With the holidays coming...eek.

I'm also not sure what Day of P3 I am on, although it is about... Monday to Monday, to Wed, if I started on Monday, which I THINK I did, except I may have started...never mind. Close enough. P3D9. Calling it.

Beautiful fall day here in OH! I love fall! The leaves are finally bursting in an array of colors. Orange-red trees are my favorite. 🔶️
I'm down another 1.6 today which makes me 1.6 away from my LIW. I won't really be able to weigh myself after tomorrow since we'll be going away for the week, but I may just sneak my scale out in my luggage. Ha! 🤔

    Kar, great loss!
Pearly- wow you are "doing it" in P3! I didn't realize you were that far in to P3. You obviously didn't either-ha!
Jessie- the stress of stabilizing along w/the thought of doing a steak day would make me crazy! Maybe something you are eating is not agreeing w/you. And, wow, you all pay that much for injections?? I'm on the gtts & only pay $40 & it lasts me a tad over 30 days. I knows it's a 3x's a day ordeal, but I'm use to it. I also have seen where I lose as much as people on injections, pellets, patches, etc. I have tried patches in the past, but always go back to the homeopathic drops.

Welp, I'm outta here! Have an Amazing day, lovelies!

    Stay focused! 😳

-2.4. Crazy swoosh this morning. Not sure what to make of it because it's never happened before during P3. Maybe the eggs were throwing things off for a while. Time will tell. Meanwhile, I'm going to eat my same P3 "go to" foods that I know are safe and see what happens. I want to get excited about the swoosh but I got to see it stick to believe it. Y'all know what I mean?!?! Lol

Lovely Losers 2019 - Optimistic in OCTOBER!!!

    10/26 154.8 (+1.8)

Up 1.8 today after big swoop drop yesterday. Not really surprised. Either my body weight is going haywire or my scales are. This is a new pattern so I'm not sure what to make of it. I'm going to put fresh batteries in my scales and see if it makes a difference.

Good morning all! Checking in b4 we go out of town later. I will try my best to connect now & again.
Down another 1.6 lbs today. Always love week 1 😁 I'm at my LIW now so it's downward from here! I can already feel a big difference in my waistline. Was feeling kinda bloated recently. I would love to lose another 15 this round.

Jessie- praying your body settles down & stabilizes! Many times after a big loss, I really try to watch what I eat as I fear a jump in numbers the next day. Everyone's bod is different. Hate to see you struggling! 😣

A shout out to our other Lovelies out there! I know you're still out there! We are all in this together! This is a battle at times & we will win!! 🤺

    Stay focused!! 😳

Gem, thank you for the kind words!
    Kar, keep on!
Pretty Girl, glad P4 is being kind, so sorry about your daughter's health.

My sister and I are getting a little worn out. My Mom has had a couple of down days, and nothing we do helps. Hope today is better for her. Scheduling her sleep at night is difficult. For a while there, the pharmacy did not have here regular sleeping pill she has taken and relied on for years, but we had a supply, so after all was said and done for the night, and she was comfortable, I slipped her one. (Not sorry!) and she fell asleep like clockwork 20-30 minutes later.

Now, they finally got them in and include them in her nightly pills, but When? When? When? Depends on when the early morning pain dose is given! If someone jumps the gun in the morning and gives her the pain pill at 6 a.m. they arrive with the pain pill and sleeping pill 12 hours later at 6 pm. No, no, not yet, bring it at 8. Then she waits for the pain pill and suffers. I start at 7:30 checking to see where the nurse is to see make sure she gets her pills at 8, but rarely get them until 8:30 or 9, even though they say She's Next! Coming in a minute! It ALWAYS takes an hour. Then the CNA has to get her ready for bed, and if she gets the sleeping pill before they get there, she falls asleep and they wake her up, then she does not fall BACK asleep until 11 or midnight. Ugh. Then I get home just in time to crawl across the room and fall asleep with one foot in bed and one foot still on the floor.

Oh, I DID finally get my bed made, halla!

I'm bouncing around in the 131 pound. Been down to 131.2 and up to 131.8. Still in my window, which I guess is why we HAVE a window.

Now, work: Here is a question for y'all: NON FOOD RELATED. My boss is an insomniac, so she wakes up at 4 am, can't go back to sleep and comes to work around 6 or 6:30. Never later than 7. She always acts like anyone who gets here after 7 is late, even though office hours are 8-5. We have had people leave and not replaced, so the only other person here besides my boss and her husband who is the big boss, has just taken on one, then two, now three other people's jobs. She is a perfectionist and one of those really hard working people that you can't help, because even if she let you, she'd just sneak in and do it over again anyway. She now is coming in at 6 or 6:30 a.m. and never leaves early even in a blizzard. And oh, yeah, she lives on coffee and cigarettes and never eats lunch and never leaves the building during the day.

Now, I am being made to feel----or possibly it is just me, though I don't think so---like I am not working hard enough because I get here between 7:55 and on the dot of 8. ( I get greeted with "We've been here since 6 so there is no coffee left, but you can make more if you want...") I leave at 5, because I have other obligations besides work. ( I get "Leaving already?" when I pick up my stuff and head for the door.") I am DONE with my work, although I can always come up with new projects if I want. I have not missed ONE deadline in almost six years. And I have hard deadlines two or three times a week for publications. I have taken my laptop and worked in my Mom's hospital room in order to get ahead on the deadline projects, so I can sit in meetings during the day. I eat lunch while i work at my desk, but sometimes I need to run an errand during lunch hour time. At 10 to 12, I get "Can you come in and help me with this?" which lasts until 2, and no errand run that day!

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm upset I resent the fact that I am already working pretty darn hard, but made to feel like a shirker, or because I sort of feel like the other lady, who just got a new title, so hopefully she also got some more money!, is being taken advantage of AND making me feel like a shirker.

Well, needed to vent. I'm tired. Stuff bugs me more when I'm tired.

Oh that's just ridiculous and disrespectful to you!! You have them spoiled. Gosh forbid if you ever have a family situation that requires some of your time ...before after normal work hours. Stand up for yourself with a smile on your face. Hey listen, I might be working "normal" hours for a short time to take care of my Mom before and after work...thank you all for kind words, understanding and being so supportive. Your the best!

Good morning! Sorry I have been missing. We have been having out power shut off by PG&E for wild fire prevention, and then when it is back on, I have been either working or scrambling to get ready for the next outage (starts again today!) Our first outage was 5 days, this last one ended just as we were going to bed Thursday. Then I had to work yesterday, even though they told us my boss' place of business would NOT have power (so I would not be working) on Friday. I was happy to work as I lose income if I am not working, but the lack of communication and completely inaccurate information is absolutely the most frustrating part of these power shutoffs! We have a small generator and a LOT of 1/2 gallon bottles of ice, so we do not usually lose food. It is just a lot of work and plenty of money spent on $4/gallon gas to keep the generator running twice/day for a few hours each time. Hubby has had to wait over a half hour in line to refill the gas cans, too...

I started P2 even with the power outages, and am currently on P2D5. Started the round at 245. Here are my stats:

    Starting weight: 245
    Loading weight: 248.6
    VLCD1: 247.0
    VLCD2: 245.0
    VLCD3: 243.0
    VLCD4. 243.8
    VLCD5: 242.4

I know some of you on here may remember my issue with fluid retention, so while I get frustrated seeing GAINS during P2 (especially the first few days!!), I am not surprised or worried. I understand the issue and how to deal with it medically. When I am not on hhcg, and eating carbs, I can expect huge swings on the scale. My body likes low carb, and loves the hhcg, and P3 way of eating. My mind, sometimes not so much .

I have a lot to do today as they are shutting off our power, but haven't told us what time. Estimate was 3 pm, but that was yesterday's estimate. I haven't heard a word today. I usually get a text 4+ hours in advance, so I should have some time left. Unfortunately I stepped on a pine needle that managed to puncture my foot last night, and it broke off inside the sole of my foot. I can't look at it myself because my knee dislocates if I bend my knee to either side. My son tried to get it out, but some is still in there. It really hurts to walk. I tried just not putting pressure on the outside edge of my foot, but now my ankle hurts. I guess I won't get as much done... I can do quite a bit in the dark. Lots of reading on my tablet (but no wi-fi or data).

I have chicken prepped and plenty of apples (but the are getting mushy). Edible but not very appetizing. When I work next, I will head into the bigger foothill town where I work and stock up on apples and p2 veggies. For the next few days it will be cabbage and my last cucumber, and I have a little romaine left. I may have to go to our small market and get some salad fixings, but money is tight and their prices are a bit high and produce quality low.

Just before the last outage, I stayed up until well after midnight prepping chicken. Power went out at 11:30. Then I used the lantern to cut, weigh, and baggie the chicken. Put it all in an ice-bath to pre-cool it, and then put 2 days worth in the fridge and the rest in the freezer in 2-day packs. Now I am set until the end of this unexpected third round, even if it lasts another 5 days! YIKES!! At least we had 1 day to "recharge/refreeze" between these two. They say it could be like this for 10 years, every time we get a "wind event". Guess I am glad we are moving!!
Hey, I'm Roni (Ronnie) I bought a ticket on the Onederland Express! Come along and enjoy the ride!

    Restarting Round 3

    **** Original Protocol ****
    Round 1 LDW: 240.8 (-31.4)
    Round 2 LDW: 230.6 (-41.6)
Weight loss totals include loading weight from Round 1 only.

    Good morning, lovelies!
Hang in there, Pearly. I love Jessie’s advice!
Oh my goodness, Roni! That has to be getting old. I wish there was something we could do to help. Hopefully the weather will be more cooperative quickly.
My weight has bounced around the past few days. I’m pretty sure inflammation is to blame. I doubt I’ll reach goal this round, but closer than when I started makes the round a success.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Kar, you netted a loss for the week, but it is hard to see up down, up down. As long as there is a down! I guess.

Tight, unbelievable. And you started P2 anyway. We have been watching the fire progress from a safe distance here in Colorado and you all have our prayers. If I was a conspiracy nut, I'd say they are trying to run everyone off of the rural areas... Ha. Maybe then they can let all the homeless in San Francisco camp there... Ya, sorry. Now I can't unsee that.

I upped my way into bouncing around the 132 pound instead of the 131 pound. Still in my window, but not doing super well on eating to be honest. I am lucky I'm not back where I started already. I'm kind of exhausted and my sister is too proud to say it, but know she is worse. I stayed all day yesterday from 8 am until almost 10 pm so she could get some rest and take care of her kiddos, but know that she is running on fumes. Snow storm today thru tomorrow does NOT help.

    Onward. ever. onward.P
