Lovely Losers 2019 - Sensational in September!!!

    Hello to all Lovely Losers!

Coco may be currently fighting off a hurricane... I'm sure she won't mind that we kick of the SEPTEMBER 2019 thread.

This joyful and jubilant group of HCG-ers have been starting new threads every month for years.

Please note as you read through the posts:

We are all in different phases of HCG.
We all use different methods of HCG.
What is right for YOU, is right for YOU and we respect that. We don’t judge.
We discuss ALL aspects of our individual journeys to a healthier lifestyle.
And MOST importantly, while we can be a little naughty and nutty (always with humor!!) we are NICE to each other!!

So, whether you are just starting, finishing or are somewhere in between . . .

    WELCOME!!!

    Week 1 VLCD results: -1.8, -1.0, -1.4, -1.4, -1.2, -0.4, +0.6

I don't really want to post today, let alone be the first one on the new September thread! Yikes.

Okay. I'm brave. I'm transparent. I'm an idiot.

I really got ****y yesterday, with getting away with a few bites off protocol on Saturday. So, I sort of subbed stuff for the stuff on protocol, because I was lazy and didn't want to cook or even sit up straight.
So, up today .8 which is not ALL of my loss from over the weekend, but ... most of it!

    My. Own. Dang. Fault. LAZY.

Back on track today! I have 10 days until I travel.

    Onward,
    P

oooo Interesting. I did NOT use a bad word up there, but the site changed it to *** etc, because it CONTAINED the letters of an inappropriate word within the word. I was saying I was sort of like a rooster, or Tom Cruise in Top Gun. That's all!

Word filters are still being adjusted, and Patrick is having to whitelist some things. (the last one was ANALysis ^_^ ) If any one else runs into this issue, send me a PM and I'll get it on his list.

Good luck with your final 10 days, Pearly.

Hello Lovelies and thank you for taking the thread-starting reins Ms. Pearlie!

Positive vibes to Coco and anyone in Dorian's path.

I was down to 148.0 yesterday and feeling GREAT but I woke up to my period and 148.8 so FML...

I've been searching for advice on what to do if I reach my goal before 23 days. I thought there was something specific in PI or a thread but I'm not finding anything???

I had hoped to get to 145lbs on my last round but closed at 149lbs stabilizing below 151lbs. Thing is that this round is producing rapid inch loss and I'm happy about that. The frozen shots seem to be working well with a solid 10lbs lost in the first week - although most of it was load gains. My period will probably make this week hard but I'm not tempted to cheat (today). If I can get to below 145 can I move to P3 or is there another strategy?

    Round 1, P2: 187 to 168
    Round 1, P3: 166 stable

    Round 2, P2: 168 to 156
    Round 2, P3: 155 stable

    Round 3, P2: 163 to 149
    Round 3, P3: 149 and hopeful...

    Round 4, P2: 151 (not counting 7lb loading gain)

If you reach your goal before you have completed 23 dose days, what you do is increase your calories from P2 foods until you are eating enough to stop the weight loss. Then transition to P3 after the 23rd dose. 23 doses is the minimum round length needed in order to be able to properly stabilize in P2.

Here is the passage from P&I that addresses this:
We never give a treatment lasting less than 26 days, even in patients needing to lose only 5 pounds. It seems that even in the mildest cases of obesity the diencephalon requires about three weeks rest from the maximal exertion to which it has been previously subjected in order to regain fully its normal fat-banking capacity. Clinically this expresses itself, in the fact that, when in these mild cases, treatment is stopped as soon as the weight is normal, which may be achieved in a week, it is much more easily regained than after a full course of 23 injections.

As soon as such patients have lost all their abnormal superfluous fat, they at once begin to feel ravenously hungry in spite of continued injections. This is because HCG only puts abnormal fat into circulation and cannot, in the doses used, liberate normal fat deposits; indeed, it seems to prevent their consumption. As soon as their statistically normal weight is reached, these patients are put on 800-1000 Calories for the rest of the treatment.

    Thank you Leez.

I'll keep up with injections for the next 14 days and see how it goes. I'll increase portions but stick to P2 foods, correct?

    Round 1, P2: 187 to 168
    Round 1, P3: 166 stable

    Round 2, P2: 168 to 156
    Round 2, P3: 155 stable

    Round 3, P2: 163 to 149
    Round 3, P3: 149 and hopeful...

Correct. Once goal weight is reached, aim for a minimum of 800 calories by increasing P2 food portions. 800-1000 is usually enough to stop the losses, but see how it goes.

Hello Everyone, I've been lurking in the back ground for the past few weeks waiting for round #6. It's been 5 months since my last round and I've maintained within 3 lbs of LIW. Summer is wrapping up and the kids are settling into school. NuImage shipped HCG Kit so quick this time. Planning on loading this weekend. Looking forward to reaching a new low weight. Will miss cream in my coffee but it's so worth it!!

VCLD6 and down 0.8 lb and feeling good.

Got those chrysanthemums planted along with some pansies and ornamental chili plants (great vibrant colors) and the balcony now looks totally refreshed! My back aches, but very happy with the result.

Hope everyone is out there losing!

Great job, everyone! You guys make me want to start up a new round It's too early for me though. I still have about a week of P3 left. I guess I could cycle back around but I'll hold off until after the holidays maybe.

Prayers to everyone being affected by the awful hurricane. Hope you're all safe!

I'm coming around for accountability. I'm over LDW by 1.6 this morning and I know why. I'm testing my P3 limits so I need to back it on down and be more strict. My breakfast was Paleo pancakes and turkey bacon. Lunch will most likely not happen because I haven't been hungry lately. Dinner is going to be some type of protein with veggies. Maybe I'll get some Chipotle or something where I can pick and choose without having to cook I just know I have to get back on the right track and stop eating food that comes in a box.
    LDW: 152.2 from last round

    New round
    Starting weight: 156.0
    Current weight: 146.8
    LDW: 147.0

VCLD7 and up 1.5 lb! I'm pretty sure it is water retention, as I really oversalted my fish for dinner. I didn't do it on purpose, but I realized as I was eating it that I had applied the shaker with a heavy hand. I normally don't eat a lot of salt, but with HCG I am aware I need sodium to make sure I don't get weak (I also take potassium and magnesium). I also crave flavor, and salt helps. Hopefully I will lose all that today. Otherwise, I am going into week 2 on a downer!

HCGpro, I love it that you continue to check in here during P3. I like hearing how people are stabilizing (or not) and it helps me feel like P3 is not so far away.

    Have a good day everyone!
