Today is VLCD 11, round 6. The end of October marks 2 years of HCG. If all goes well this round my loses should be in the 80 lb range. Yes, I had mishaps along the way with stabilizing which delayed faster results. One of my goals is to get back into wearing belts from years ago ( before kids). The red pencil marks the hole where I use to be able to wear this belt. The red string is threaded in the 1st hole. Not really the look I'm going for LOL! I have a lot more inches to go but I'm happy not to have Michelin tires around my waist anymore. Hoping after round 7 to fit into the first belt hole. Or I can cheat and get a new belt

    Hi everyone!

Pretty, sorry to hear about your daughter. Hope she gets better soon. Youíre almost in the 130ís! Yay!

Blue- hope my P3 goes as well as yours is going. Keep up the good work! I start tmw.

Jessie- love that you have a specific goal. Way to stay focused!

Well, my last P2 steak day was a big flop. I gained all I lost back plus I was up a little more this morning, but I do have some inflammation from sore muscles and I did not get much sleep last night. I woke up at 2 am hungry (yesterday was first day without drops in afternoon and at night) and I never could get back to sleep. So maybe my weight will come back down (I hope!). Additionally, I know Iím at a very stubborn old set point. I think Iím due for a big whoosh, but I donít know if Iíll get it before P3. Iím hoping some of Blueís luck will rub off on me. I wish I could hang on for a few more days, but This was supposed to be a short round for me and itís ended up being 40 days of vlcd! Not very short at all! Anyway, Iím looking forward to starting P3 tomorrow! I plan on eating bacon, eggs, avocado and bullet proof coffee for breakfast. Itís my daughters bday this weekend so Iím busy getting everything planned for that, a lot going on!

Ugh, Jessie, I feel your pain! I had quite a few belts like that, and for years, I just quit wearing belts! LOL. But you are on the right track. Nothing wrong with a different belt hole! And finally, after a couple of decades of being uh.... Fluffy!...I found hcg. After so many rounds, I have belts that I have ADDED extra holes to! No brag, just amazing what this diet does! Okay, so I may have to switch up and down a few some months, but hey! It's progress!

AND: Congratulations on 80 pounds lost. That is AWESOME and you are AWESOME, too!

Pro, first you had to stress about your bf because he WANTED that job, which took forever, now that he HAS the job he wanted so badly, IT'S stressful. Life's a b**ch and then ya die... LOL. You are a champ.

Just---or should we abbreviate you as Gitter? of DONE? Seems like I had this figured out the last time we were both here and now I can't recall! But sorry the Steak day in P2 did not work out. I get pretty mad when I do something off protocol and it doesn't WORK. Cuz, you know, I like to do things MY way and they should work just because i want them to! yes, well. You got it to work a few times, so that's pretty good! I'll do something like substitute an ice cream cone for a chicken breast and when I don't lose I pout WHOT? Why NOT? I was PERFECT!! (Perfectly cra-cra in my case!)

I am cruising at the same weight still. Exactly the same as yesterday. So, hard to start back up. However, I don't want to load again, so I need to decide. Anyone know if the transition days count as part of a PI or does the P3 eating start the calendar count down?

    Onward evah buddy!

Happy Fri-Yay ladies! My daughter says she is feeling somewhat better so hopefully she can at least attend school come next week! And I am down to 139 today! Putting me at 25lbs down so far! So excited to be in the 130s again I have missed them lol. Last hcg dose is Monday and I start P3 on Thursday so hoping to get a little lower in the 130s by then. Yay

Pearly: That's how it feels! I swear, it's always something. Maybe you could do a 1 day load?

I still haven't weighed but my food intake was much better yesterday. I found out a little earlier that one of my old best friends died. She had moved to my hometown in middle school and stayed a few years then moved somewhere else. We stayed friends a little while but the last time I really talked to her was around 10 years ago probably. I know she had kids and apparently got heavy into drugs then OD'd either yesterday or today. She had a pretty rough life (her oldest brother killed himself, mom recently died, etc.). It's weird to think that someone my age and someone I was really close with died. I've had it happen before but I thought about her sometimes and thought about reaching out to see how she was. It's just really weird.

Ha Pearly! You gave me a good laugh this morning! You are EXACTLY right! I want to make up my own new P2 rules, and darn it, they SHOULD work! Lol!! I’m not sure I understand your PI question, but when I did a PI in previous round, I did minimum 23 injections (or drops) then 72 hours (48 for drops) VLCD for the hcg to clear, then ate P3 during the interruption.

So I am sitting here enjoying my first P3 meal. Eggs, no sugar bacon, avocado and bullet proof coffee. Oh. My. Goodness. Tastes so good! I love how grateful I am in P3 of being able to eat these wonderful foods I couldn’t eat in P2. If I could just learn to stay grateful...that is the key. It’s when I become ungrateful of what I can eat and want all the bad stuff is when I always get into trouble. For lunch today I plan on having tuna salad made with lots of homemade healthy mayo in lettuce cups with bacon. Dinner I’m planning on a steak (maybe with a piece bacon wrapped around it) and roasted broccoli. My goal is to eat until satisfied but not completely full.

I was the same weight this morning as yesterday, but that’s ok. Still hoping for that whoosh after this loooong stall....maybe I will get one tomorrow....maybe my body just wanted some fat to let it go....lol...here I go again....

Jus, you are right about the fat getting your body to let go. That's not off protocol really, just not OP. Good luck on that!

I was just trying to figure out how long I can go on a PI without loading--I did the 3 day transition, and then I've been 'off' 11 days so far. Except if I have to count the transition days, that's 14, which runs in my mind is kind of the limit of a PI that you can go back on to without starting over. I did look it up in P&I and it looked like FOUR days, so now IDK.

Regardless, I've set my sights on Monday (like the song, but I can't get undressed and go back to bed, darn it.) My Mom is staying with me this weekend, and there is no explaining P2 to her. She is proud of how healthy I eat, she says, but when I say I am getting tired of salads for lunch, she suggests a nice turkey sandwich.

    Yeah. So, Monday!

    Onward!

Pearly, I think you could go either way. If it were me I might take advantage of having 1 load day, but if youíre feeling satisfied food wise then you should be ok not loading if youíve been eating plenty of fats during your PI. If you donít reload you donít have to worry about re-losing any load weight (ugh).

Pretty- congrats on making it to 130ís! Glad to hear your daughter is doing better.

Hcg- so sorry to hear about your old BFF. That is so sad. Drugs are the one thing that scares my husband and I the most when it comes to our kids. They are still young but we hope they never get into them. We talk about how bad they are all the time to them. Fingers crossed they will be too scared to ever try them.

Also, forgot to mention earlier, the other wonderful thing about P3....moisturizer! Felt SO good to slather my body head to toe in fatty lotions this morning!!

VCLD23 and as predicted I bounced back up a bit from my 2.5 lb loss. I have five more days to lose the last 2-3 lbs. I am thinking very seriously about doing a Macro coach for P3 and P4. I feel like I am so afraid of carbs, even good ones, that after P3 I just don't know how to eat in a way that leaves me satisfied with some variety and occasional treats but doesn't make me gain. There was someone on this thread that went straight from HCG into Macros in P3 back in March and her last post said that she continued to lose even in P3 and was eating carbs and plenty of calories. I'm really curious, and I'm ready to be done with this vicious cycle of gaining and losing. I'm so grateful for HCG but I'm tired of not being able to maintain. Part of it, of course, is allowing myself to be less aware of what I'm eating and then the creep starts. IDK.

Pearly, 14 days seems like a long PI. If it were me, I would load one day just to make sure you don't experience that awful light-headed hunger and weakness that you suffer from.

Just, enjoy P3! I'm nearly there with you....

Pretty, glad to hear your daughter is feeling better, and good job hitting the 130's! P3 will be here before you know it!

Jessie, congrats on the belt victory. I have given up belts. Even at my now-ideal weight (heavier than when I was younger) I just don't like the restriction around my middle!

HCG, that is a sad story about your friend. So many people are struggling with addiction in this country, it is truly scary. It feels like an entire generation is being wiped out and their children will be lost too because their parents suffered from addiction when they were alive and couldn't parent properly. And then the kids lose their parents altogether from overdose and then are being cared for by Grandparents or in foster homes. Here in Ohio, its an epidemic.

On that note, Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend everyone

I can relate my best friend of 25 years passed away July 12 after a battle with cancer. She wasnít just my longest friend and my best friend she was literally my only friend. So now Iím here with no friends trying to learn what life is like without her itís pretty horrible.

Pretty: You and I are very similar. I have maybe 1 friend (and 1 work friend but we don't hang out outside work). The 1 outside work friend I have lives 4 hours away and I haven't seen her in probably a year. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I don't want to be completely negative but I feel like I would have preferred for her to die of an illness vs. drug abuse. I feel bad for feeling that way but I just feel like it was such a waste of a good person and she had 2 young girls who now have no mother, no father and nowhere to go. I know people have tough situations but there are other ways to cope. I'm just trying to not feel like I could have done something. She felt alone and I hadn't talked to her in a while, so if I had continued talking to her throughout the years, would it have been any different?

    Ok, off my soapbox now
