Thread: Lovely Losers 2019 - Sensational in September!!!

    Pro--good thinking. No food out of a box. I get that!! When I cook, I'm golden. When I don't wanna cook...that's when i get in trouble!

    Mo- Come plant some stuff for me. I have been thinking about Mums, too, but I think I am sort of too late in Colorado. We could have a freeze by the first of October, and I have done the cover and uncover route many, many times and .... I don't wanna. I suppose I could leave stuff in pots and just carry them into my foyer when there is a freeze notice. hmmmmm.

    I;m back down the little UP from yesterday. Whew. Much better. I had a PERFECT day yesterday. I could have been on OP except for the extra serving of protein 2.0 allows. I had an egg for breakfast, roasted chicken breast on a salad for lunch and more of the same chicken with a handful of grape tomatoes for dinner, as I got home late. Let's see if I can do that two days in a row! LOL.

    I spent MONEY last night. Got my hair highlighted and then went to Sephora and threw myself on the mercy of the makeup ladies there. I have never in my life worn foundation or anything on my face. I was blessed with nice skin and never really needed it. Well, age has given me freckles (okay, age 'spots' ) and just not as even as I am used to. I have no friggin Idea how to choose foundation color or brand, etc. I see ads on TV where they boast about having 133 colors--but how do you tell looking at a box or a tube if it is the same color as YOU? I still don't know, but the lady pulled out a tube immediately and showed me how to apply, so will add that to my routine. I already do eyeshadow, liner, mascara, blush and lipstick, so this is not that much of an addition, but very new to me. I just want to look polished and it won't stop me from looking like an old lady, but at least I want to look like an old lady who works at it a bit. :-)

    @Xexy Hey, I am at 148.2 today putting me at 16lbs lost in two weeks. Also tom is here for me as well. How long is your round? My last injection will be sept 23rd which will put at 34 days on P2. Apparently I donít know how to reply to specific post and have them quoted lol

    Pearly: YOU DESERVE IT. I need to get my hair done too but it's so expensive! I'm going to get a certification at work that they pay me for, so I figure if I pass that test, I'll treat myself to a cut and highlights.

    Mo: Could be the salt but what kind of fish did you have? Could be any number of things. Water, not enough water, too much fat in proteins, etc.

    The fish was Cod. I do 2.0 protocol and I was well within the parameters for total calories and carbs. Used to be you also calculated your total protein grams, but on their facebook page, they tell you to simply calculate your total calories and keep under 30 grams of carb. Their guidance on protein sources is based on protein to fat ratio, so any protein source that is low fat is good. IDK. Have you ever heard anyone having problems with Cod?

    Pearly, now you have me worried. Because the mums are everywhere here in central Ohio, I made the assumption that they are frost hardy, just not freeze hardy. Having said that, I've never planted them so I have no real experience with watching out for autumn frosts. I'm used to being careful in the spring with new plantings but this is new to me and frankly, I've never done autumn planting. Oh dear!

    Hey Pretty! After R1 I could never last more than 23 days on P2; the losses slow down, the food gets boring and a period shows up to make everything more fun. My good news is that I've managed to keep most of it off and always stabilize well in P3. By my calculations I'll be taking my last injection on 9/18 and roll into P3 on 9/20.

    BTW I'm not sure what browser you use but there's usually a little "Reply" or "Reply With Quote" button under each individual post

    Round 1, P2: 187 to 168
    Round 1, P3: 166 stable

    Round 2, P2: 168 to 156
    Round 2, P3: 155 stable

    Round 3, P2: 163 to 149
    Round 3, P3: 149 and hopeful...

    Round 4, P2: 151 (not counting 7lb loading gain)

    Hello Lovelies,

    I don't know what's going on but I have been extremely hungry today! I didn't cheat or eat anything extra but I'm a bit anxious that my frozen shots aren't working and I'm just starving myself. I had about a cup of zero carb Gatorade yesterday because my legs kept cramping, otherwise I've been eating hard boiled eggs, protein powder, chicken breast (gag), tilapia and 96% lean chili or ground beef and cabbage (my favorite) - the same as every other round. Down to 148.2 this morning so I feel that I'll hit my goal this round and maybe get a bit of a buffer for a vacation I have planned for late October. I've accepted that I'll never be "skinny" but I'm also being cheap about buying new clothes LOL.

    Wonderful to see everyone taking care of themselves indoors and out!

    Round 1, P2: 187 to 168

    Round 2, P3: 155 stable

    Thanks for rekey tip! I am on my phone! I did hcg a few years ago and it went great I got down to 126 and stabilized perfectly. Unfortunately I gained it all back by going back to old habits. I decided to come back to hcg. I have learned my lesson! I do not plan to ever do anymore rounds though. Come P4 I will exercise and cut my calories to lose any remaining weight. We stop our rounds close as well. My first P3 day will be the 26th.

    Not sure if anyone's had issues with cod, but you may want to watch it. I don't really eat much fish other than shrimp on P2. Could just be from the salt

    I didn't weigh this morning because I'm waiting for a full night's sleep. I'll weigh myself Saturday and see where I'm at. I'm not 100% worried about going over LDW because I can just switch to smoothies and come back down. I didn't eat breakfast this morning but I'll have some stuff a little later. My BFF broke up with her BF/Fiance so I'm trying to be there for her from 4 hours away. They've broken up before but she actually moved back to our hometown this time. She started their relationship with $$ and 2 cars, her sanity....now she has no vehicle and no $$. He was an engineer or something but never helped her at all. He was stuck on his ex-wife still and was paying all her bills. I heard he may have hurt her physically so I'm hoping this time she's completely done if that's the case. Hopefully I'll see her toward the end of this month.

    Good morning everyone! I woke up this morning down another pound so that is 17 pounds in 16 days so far! I still have 18 days to go. Decided I am going to go and get my nails done and a pedicure this morning. How is everybody?

    Good for you for being a good friend, Pro.

    Cod should be okay, unless you have some kind of specific you-only sensitivity to it. More likely, its just fluctuation---a slight and unexplained gravitational shift of the earth's surface, LOL --and will come off again. Not every day is a losing day, sorry to say. Just hang in.

    I have to take my own advice because yessiree, I had a second POP day and ... I'm up point 4. Dang. But I know that my body LIKES being up around this weight, it is a loooooooong time set weight and it is fighting me every step of the way. I'll just have to keep. on. going. and I'll get there. I do see reshaping, as I am sitting here in a dress I couldn't wear all summer. And now it is fine. So, there's that.

    Wow that is incredible. I started out phase 2 last wednesday at 163 and as of tuesday I was 158, but I keep forgetting to weigh myself. It might be psychological, I have been a scared of the scale in the past and avoided it so I may be playing that game with myself now. Are you doing anything special that you think might be enhancing your losses?
